Vienna location does not have a manager. Took car in for an oil change, got zero work completed and they charged my Autistic son $400! Have not had a call back from management after leaving multiple messages!

!!!READ BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!Usually, I went to this branch and location every time to do oil changes, air filters, change the tires, and so on. It's like totally do everything about my car at this place. Here was the great store in the past.BUT SINCE THIS TIME, NEVER GO AGAIN AND NO MORE!!!Last month, I changed the engine oil here as usual and I knew my car's engine light was ON. I said I will be back later some days. A couple of weeks later I went there again to fix the engine light that was still on. I was waiting their about 2 hrs. They checked Engine Diagnostic and it said they had to remove and replace the PCV hose. I said Yes, let's do it because I thought that was the right way to fix the engine light "ON". So, I dropped my car there and came back to pick it up in the evening. And I paid about 395$ total. When I picked up my car and drove on the road for just 5 mins. THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AGAIN. YES!!! AGAIN!!! I felt a bit upset and a bit moody. I still thought positively, the engine light might be gone for a few days. But Nope. Nothing GONE!!!I came back to this store again. I told them what happened after I picked up my car. I dropped my car there and asked the receptionist for a Lyft to take me home. This is a good service that I appreciate. After that, I waited for the call for this place for a whole day. No one called me. At about 3 PM, I called back, someone said the technician still working on it and they gonna called back in 30 mins. But nothing, I called back again. Someone said the same word. So, I had been waiting until the shop was closed on that day. NOTHING UPDATE TO ME.The next day, I rode a Lyft to work by myself and still waiting for the call from Virginia Tire & Auto until in the evening. I thought something weird, so I asked my friend to bring me there. When I arrived there, my car looked like it stayed at the same spot in the parking lot like nothing was checked. I went inside to ask about the issue with my car to receptionist. She brought some documents to ask the Asian Guy, I assumed he may be the manager of this store. On his face acted like which car?, and what problem? it looked like many question marks in his head, also seemed like he didn't know anything about my car issue. After that, she came back and told me the new things to change and estimated the total cost of about 1,200$. At the time, I was really shocked and froze. My friend let me take the car back and find a new place to find out the issue. Because it's too expensive to pay. My car is a 2017 Sedan with 65, xxx miles driven. It's still great maintenance. No accident history. So I took my car back. One thing, when I dropped my car off to recheck the issue again, I asked the receptionist to rotate the wheels because I paid by Virginia Tire & Auto Credit Card, which is a free service that I saw in the advertisement in the brochure that pay with this card. But they still charged me about 30$, she said no worries, she would take that out. I reminded her again and again before I left. She still said NO WORRIED, NO WORRIED. Okay, I believed her.Until NOW, what happened on my bill, on the credit card statement is still a balance at the first time that I paid. The receptionist on that day didn't do anything. Never deduct, never delete, and didn't do ANYTHING for me.So what, I blamed and told myself, I would never go to this place again anymore. The money is just 30$ for the wheel rotation, which I can pay. But things were disappointing as I told them many times and I wasted time dropping my car there and came back to pick it up for about 4-5 days total. Also, 395$ that I paid on first time to fix an engine light ON but my issue was unable to fix it.All is my story, please think about it before you go to this store. I may be unlucky for this time that I got this statement.

My wife visited this location for an oil change earlier today. That was at the price quoted on the website. However, they immediately started in on additional sales, and they were absolutely price gouging and attempting to sell her unnecessary parts and services to her just because she is a woman. They said she needed new wiper blades, and that just the parts alone would be nearly $400 (they retail for $60-150) plus labor. She obviously didn't take them up on that offer. Then she asked about tire rotation. They refused to do it, saying that all 4 of her tires are dry rotted and need immediate replacement. She just had her car inspected at the end of August, and passed without issue. And funnily enough, this location let her drive off with these supposedly in need of immediate replacement tires without issue. But they did try to sell her new tires. While all of this was going on, another man was trying to check out, and was informed they had lost his car keys. They still had not found them when my wife left the location half an hour later. She didn't trust their competence after this, and she had been immediately put off by the attempted price gouging, so she refused to buy new tires there. She will be visiting a different mechanic tomorrow to make sure these dishonest, incompetent 'mechanics' at Virginia Tire and Auto of Vienna didn't screw that up as well.Update: NTB in Fairfax is doing the wiper for under $60 including labor. These guys at Virginia Tire and Auto are straight up scumbags trying to charge $400 in parts. Considering they answer every bad review in basically the same way, but the same issues keep popping up consistently for several years now, I can only recommend that you do NOT give this place your business

What Happened:I visited your location KNOWING I need a new set of tires.I recently had a nail and received a tire PLUG at another location to temp. drive.I knew PLUGs are not recommended as permanent fix so I kept my appointment at VA Tire to change those tires today at 12pm.When arriving, I asked the team members if they do plugs at VA Tire and they said no. I explained I got a plug and I need 2 new sets of back tires. The team member explained that they needed to get the tech to give us a quote for tires and they would give me a call. So I let them know I will go across the street for lunch. After one hour, I still did not receive a call and sat right across from the building sitting at the window where I could clearly see my car... I knew my car was NOT MOVED or seen.I called the store to see if I can still get that quote for tires and new estimated time. The female team member picked up and told me she would check. Then Suny, another gentleman picked up the phone and told me, "we had the technician check and the plug still has a leak and needs new tires".Please tell me HOW DID THE TECH CHECK FOR THE LEAK IF THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN MOVED AND THE PLUG WAS ON THE GROUND COVERED TO CHECK?I asked Suny, again, I can see the car and it has not been moved and how did you check?I asked again, when I rushed back to the store across the street.Suny replied: "it is easy to tell, just have to look at it"I confirmed, "you are sure the plug is leaking?"Suny replied "Yes"Now... I see the manager Martin walking over to move the car. I stopped him, explained what happened and asked him to bring the tech out to show me how they checked.after 5 minutes of struggle and asking him to get out of the car to stop moving the car. He(Martin) went back in to talk to his team.Martin walked back out and started apologizing that they made a mistake and they did not check the car.I would have been 100% okay if they replied to my phone call, we were busy and haven't got to your car. But when I can clearly see they are lying... That is an integrity issue.Even Martin agreed that the employee should have told the truth and this could have been avoided.Issue for me is that, if I wasn't nearby and I didn't know if I needed a new tire, I would have believed the employee and trusted your business. But knowing they are lying, how can I trust them with any work you provide. Once again, I knew I needed new tires, and didn't need to upsell me a tire or tire plan. But to see them playing off the truth is an issue for me.

Bought and mounted tires from this location. 2 of the 4 tires were installed incorrectly. Months later, fail state inspection due to their mistake. Take it back to them and they act like they did nothing wrong. No apology or anything and acting like they are doing me a favor by fixing their mistake. The main manager there seemed to be so into staying inside his office even though i tried to talk to him about the issue while his front register guys are busy buying sneakers on the work computers and theircell phones…

This was the Sterling VA location. I went for a oil change and they located a oil leak on my Honda Accord. I was informed my oil pan gasket was leaking. But I recently had that repaired at another mechanic shop. So I brought it back to them and complained but they showed me it was my oil pump leaking not my oil pan. A misdiagnosed leak from VA tire and auto .

I so wanted to have this be my go to repair shop because of the location. A simple oil change, and the car was leaking oil after I left. It's hard to reach them on the phone, and I was left on hold for a while. I needed to have rear shocks replaced and was told they didn't get to it so come back please. The staff at the desk are all courteous, but there does not seem to be an overall manager or a good communication strategy.

Dear Chelsey (not sure of the correct spelling of your name),I am writing to let you know that I truly believe you excel in your role and provide outstanding customer service. I had the opportunity to visit your Tire and Auto establishment in Vienna once, where I observed your interactions with a challenging customer in person and over the phone. Despite the customer's unreasonable and disrespectful behavior, you maintained professionalism and composure. Your exceptional service is the reason why I will be returning to your location for future services. I sincerely appreciate your efforts and the positive impact you make.Thank you,Diana.

Took five hours to inspect my car (didn't need emissions because it's a Tesla) when there were only "two cars ahead of [me]."

Insufficient communication, particularly for individuals awaiting services, demonstrates a lack of professionalism. Despite scheduling a minor tire inspection appointment for 2:30 pm and opting to wait, I found myself waiting until 3:15 pm with the car still parked outside. This level of unprofessionalism is disappointing, and it has led me to decide against returning to this establishment. Overall, my experience at this place has been unsatisfactory.

I visited Virginia Tire and Auto in Vienna this morning immediately after I saw my tire pressure warning light activate on my dashboard. The gentleman at the counter was courteous and he directed me to one of the open bays. The mechanic was courteous as well. He checked the pressure and confirmed that my tires were low but not punctured. He quickly inflated them to an acceptable PSI and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. I'm pleased with the service I received and I will consider them for future work.

I have shopped at a lot of tire and auto shops. Virginia Tire has the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. I was having trouble finding the right tires I needed. Jason found what I needed in the morning and they were on my car later that day. Along with the tires, they check the alignment, battery and a thorough engine overview. Why go anywhere else!!!

My experience with the staff here was great! I was briefed beforehand that they were a little behind. The did more than accommodate me while I waited. Kay and Jackson were very friendly. Definitely would recommend. Service was great, even got my vehicle completed before the weather got bad in the evening.

Crazy if you use these guys. No response from Mgt re complaints. Excessive charging before and after. Trying to sell tires rather than just plugging a puncture. Sold a faulty tire, sent me back to manufacturer for warranty. Manufacturer laughed and said go back to VA tire and Auto they don't deal direct with customers. Went back, was laughed at, then a whole load of bullshit on why a warranty would not be successful when their other shop said 100% it was warranty. I will be going out of my way to let friends and family know what's going on at this business.

Clean, modern facility. Friendly personnel. Good for basic items like tires, inspections, etc. I do feel that a little more technical expertise and the ability to explain car issues would be welcome. Also, I felt a $167 charge purely to diagnose an issue was high.
