My experience is one of positivity. My eye exam was explained thoroughly. A staff member help me sort through the selection of glasses with details of each one the glasses I chose. it’s the first time of 48 years I was told I needed glasses and they made it comfortable for me and also, help me come to grips that day with wearing glasses!? Thanks to the entire staff!

Wow adding today after their response below from the store, they send me to the corporate website, I click on that to see a form that says they don't respond for up to five business days!!!! How is that good customer service? If I could give zero stars I would.Original review follows:I had been coming here for well over 10 years. My insurance plan has been the same for at least five years. I came last month for an appointment that I had scheduled and ended up waiting for ninety minutes for them to figure out my insurance on their computer even though my insurance had not changed from years before (and no prior issues). I had my insurance card with me, ID etc, so the problem made no sense. I waited without complaining because a one time issue I understand. However, I didn't have time to pick out my glasses after my exam because of the delay. So I came today, just a few weeks later, to choose glasses. Again they start with the difficulty figuring out my insurance! I explained that I had been there a month ago and they had figured it out. After one person at the front desk can't figure it out and gives my insurance card to the manager, the manager is not able to tell me how long it would take to figure out the problem - "a moment" but then continued to be perplexed about my insurance. I explained they had spent 90 min. and solved the problem less than a month ago, they can't spend another 90 min. to figure it out every time I go. So I left. It's disappointing to see a business that truly doesn't care about losing long time customers.

Went for glasses and contacts prescription renewal. Got my eye exam , nothing really changed in the prescription. They charged me $175 for eye exam AND $125 for contacts “fitting” even though I never put mine on and we never did any contacts specific exam. When I asked why am I being charged $125 for something we didn't do they basically said its for the renewal….So to literally updating a date on a paper you will pay $125…

The optometrist Dr. Emani is great. However, the front office staff are disorganized and dishonest. Garrett helped me select my glasses and presented options that were covered under my insurance. After paying for some items that were not covered at the time of purchase Myeyedr preceded to bill me for additional items months later. After calling the office to explain to me why I was being charged more no one called back. Myeyedr insisted I pay for the additional items. The allowances by the insurance were written out clearly when I purchased the glasses and Garrett reassured me that there would be no additional charges. I believe they purposely sold me glasses that were beyond my allowances knowing they would bill me later for more.

The original review (attached to this thread) was written after I spent nearly an hour on the phone with Avadyne Health (some 3rd party myeyedr uses for billing). The rep said they couldn't help and that I would have to speak with the manager of the myeyedr location where I purchased the glasses. I was connected to the location and was told the manager wasn't available and would call me back within 24 hours. THE MANAGER NEVER CALLED BACK! Readers, please disregard myeyedr's response to the original review. They don't really care about customer service. They want to appear to care about customer service. Myeyedr made several hundreds of dollars from my insurance and then squeezed a bit more from me. Worst of all, they wasted my time. In the end, I just paid the bill because life is too short. If you need glasses, avoid Myeyedr!

I will start with a summary: While I can't call it the worst experience ever, the lack of communication, the delays, and the indifferent customer service left me frustrated and disappointed. It's essential for businesses to prioritize clear communication and customer care, especially when it comes to something as vital as vision health. I wouldn't recommend this place. My recent experience with clinic left me incredibly frustrated. The exam itself was completed in less than 10 minutes. I went there because I was having issues with my eyes and had some pain. This alone is very frustrating but to add on the bad experience, they assured me that my glasses would be ready in a week and a half, but it ended up taking over 3 weeks. This is very irritating considering the fact I needed my glasses for medical reasons, not just as a fashion accessory. It's not like I was waiting for a simple t-shirt to arrive but I was waiting for something to help me with my vision care.To add to the irritation, nobody from the clinic bothered to contact me to explain the delay or offer an apology. I checked the website and also called. When I reached out over the phone, their response was that they had no idea of why the glasses were delayed because it was an outside provider that was working on them. It amazes me that they send the orders to other places but don't seem to follow up to check on status?!?!After that, they gave me another estimated date of when the glasses were going to be ready. I then went to the clinic again a day after the estimated date and encountered condescending treatment from the staff, which further soured the experience. This added to the overall disappointment. It's essential for a business to respect its customers, especially when they're facing delays and inconvenience. Customer care at this place is zero.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We have been patients for many years at this location. The optometrists are fabulous and the staff is very knowledgeable about insurance plans and eyewear options.

This was a bad, bad experience. Went in, saw dr. She did the hastiest eye exam ever-Less than 10 minutes. Never asked about family history of cataracts and glaucoma. Then they send you to the sales person who proceeds to upcharge you for everything. I bailed because the place was so shady. My adult son was also with me and he got the same vibe. Incompetent dr. DO NOT GO HERE.

I would like to thank the manager of this location, Garrett, for being so helpful! I returned frames I purchased from another location and he assisted me every step of the way. He even helped me pick out my new pair! I’d also like to thank Leyli for her pleasant customer service. Great staff overall!!

Will never go back because of the manager (tall dude with glasses). he gave me issues about insurance not covering something, but when they ran it through it was indeed covered. Then he over charged me because he entered in the wrong frame in to the computer. This issue had me on the phone with himover a few hours back and forth all day. They also texted that the glasses were in, I went in and it was not there so I had to come back again another day. Then had to wait again because they couldn't find it. And no apology at any point from the manager who handle it all. Then I went to get contacts to tell me that it's $400More than last year with insurance. This is after waiting a whole hour to tell me that. So I ordered them on line for $400 less. In the last 6-7 years, with a family of 5, I have probably spent over $10,000 there. I get that maybe their business may have changed their practices, soI don't blame the doctors or some of their staff. But I will never go back again, mainly because the manager. Will be going elsewhere to spend my money....

Came to see the Dr. for an eye infection. Both Staff and Optometrist were amazing and very professional. Highly recommend Dr. Sahar Emami. She prescribed the right medication and I could see results within a week. Will come to her for my regular eye exams from now on….

Not worth to visit unless no other option. Had bad experience in another office few years ago. I thought it's because of the people in that office, maybe this office would be OK. But I'm wrong. In the another office, I felt it works as a glasses supermarket. No advice, no negotiation, just pick one and pay. However, this office is worse than I can imagine.1. Eye Exam was took impatiently. Doesn't care how will you use the glasses. But just let you choose which lens is more clear. And only 2 or 3 comparison per eye (maybe the doctor is professional and don't need more tries). But I'm a person who faces the computer every day. I don't need to make it so clear that make me dazzled! I have to still use my old glasses during work.2. Expensive even reimbursed by insurance in network.3. Charged the screening photos without notifying ahead that it's not covered by insurance.4. Googled the screening photos that is a form of vision screening for children. I don't know why I need that. Maybe she thinks my English is as poor as a 3 years old child?5. The lens are 50% thicker and 70% heavier than the ones of my old glasses. Both of them should be the same high index. I doubt they use 1.67(or less) instead of 1.74 for me. Went back to the office and asked why. Just be told that "it is" without any check.6. Last but angriest, after paid $227 in the office when I visited, I still received a $38 bill after insurance paid. I had double confirmed my insurance coverage with the cashier when I was in office. We also went through each item how much I had to pay. But I still get a bill! Call the myeyedr what happened. They let me to ask insurance company. Asked them to wave it generously. Then received some calls from 3rd party finance collector.
