Do not bank here! Move your money asap. They will not support you when fraud occurs. Their investigators do not read the supporting information and deny true fraud claims. All so Navy Fed can keep thousands of dollars ofYour money! I have used navy Fed for decades until they did me wrong on fraudulent charges on my account. I got the run around for months and no one really helped after submitting many attachment In NAVY FED application. Navy Fed claims they care about their members. They do not! Stick with NWFCU or USAA. Much better customer service than Navy Federal Credit Union

Very sleazy business practices and incompetent employees. It is only a matter of time before they play with the wrong persons money.

For what it's worth ....I am extremely disappointed with Navy Federal Credit Union (not necessarily this location but overall)I have applied for a home equity loan, having over 60k in equity in my home and basically trying to borrow from myself, but I have been denied before even completing the application. The system did a "soft" check of my credit and since my score is low from to having high balances on my credit cards due to purchases for my home and paying for repairs and such for the home. I guess if my score was 700+ it would have allowed me to complete the apication.I have paid off a 36k auto loan with them and have had no late payments on either my auto loan, personal loan or credit card with NFCU but that doesn't seem to contribute or make a difference.I was seeking a home equity loan to pay for improvements to my home because I need to replace my entire HVAC system, pay for some serious plumbing issues and I wanted to include debt consolidation with some of what I wanted to borrow but that does not matter or account for anything. When I inquired about it and wanted to discuss the fact that the system would not allow me to complete the application I was told, in an e message, that that was not possible. Wth? Seriously? Whatever happened to customer service?Since I don't have a credit score of 700+ I don't matter and will not be approved, to basically borrow from myself. They claim to care about their members and want to help but that is quite obviously a lie.

I’m very disappointed in NFCU. They pulled my credit for an auto loan pre approval, provided into that I was approved, and then gave me an error message. I called and MSR Chris stated, “There’s nothing we can do. Don’t waste your time.” I immediately asked for a supervisor and after 10 minutes was connected to Kayla. She lacked empathy and compassion. Not really sure why she holds that title. Overall, the customer service experience in horrible and I wouldn’t recommend to my worse enemy. Especially after my grandfather served this country for years and banked here for decades.

I've been trying to contact someone about a woman that is acquiring loans under false pretenses, as well as hiring others to obtain them! I cannot seem to get through to anyone to report this! How ridiculous!.... I have her name, address, and access to evidence!... But how in the hell do I report it!!!

The so called "leadership"/ CEOs of nfcu secretly schemed to deny all members the right to an immediate $225.00 of their own money after a deposit of even any payroll check issued by long reputable, never check bouncing, corporate employers as AEG Global or even a government deposit. This conniving and contemptable crime, contra the common consumer and citizen was officially oppressed upon all members 30 October 2022! I checked with many other credit unions and all major banks. They still allow an instant access to 200-$500 dollars! Don't trust a business that does not trust you or any of its own members. They also turn down any member of 10 plus years for any loan or loan amount, simply on either a poor credit score alone, or even simply no recent credit activity. Worst yet, the "decision" is 100% made by far from perfect-ish a.i. (artificial idiocy). These occurances alone are absolutely against navyfederal.org being true to their stated claims/mission within the "About Us" section of their website or from their excessively shown commercials. They also lack a chat option that you the client can choose when you need service online now! A chat icon may appear if you look at something like new loan or credit card but not for any logged in client or a browsing potential customer! They also tend to lack a branch in the heart or downtown of cities and not enough atms off base.2fa and extra phone questions , slow down business getting done more than stopping potential fraud and should be a client's choice.

I filled out the forms online to join NFCU. Everything was perfect, I received my debit card within 10 days. I later deposited some money and had an allotment from my paycheck go there. A month later I tried to access my account. The webpage said to call NFCU so I did. The CS person told me my account was frozen because I fraudulently opened the account. Now I don't have access to my accounts or my money. I never received a phone call from them or anything in writing saying there was a problem. They won't let me close the accounts or give me any of my money. I am being accused of fraud. This bank is ridiculous. Do not join NFCU unless you enjoy this kind of treatment. I spent over 22 years in the military and still work for our government. These people are basically accusing me of stolen valor without even notifying me. Now I have to fill out forms and jump thru their hoops to prove I'm not a criminal. This process will take 15 days or more. 15 days without my money and feeling like a scumbag. No thanks NFCU. I've never been treated this poorly from a bank in my life. I will close this account as soon as they LET me and never look at them again.

I thought they were going to be good. I have been having a hard time with medical issues from getting blown up and was trying to get things transferred over to them but they cancelled the account. No one else in the world moves fast but I'm required to move fast for banks like this. Maybe just maybe its hard for a vet to work and be able to do anything let alone cater to the stupidity of company like this one. You are not my priority. I'm supposed to be yours. I'm the customer. my bad it took me longer then usual but go ahead shut it down so you can protect whatever it is your trying to protect. Another joke of a company.
