Cartoonishly awful PNC customer experience:1) opened new account under $500 promo2) deposited several times the minimum requirements, but did not deposit into the correct account (spend, reserve, growth...tbh its confusing as hell, and the eyechart terms & conditions). My fault. BUT this T&C is BURIED in their disclosure (see photo). 3) went to immediately to the bank to close my account. Nice lady helped me, gave me my funds in cashier's checks. 4) after leaving I was called by the bank because they hadn't given me the appropriate documentation to sign. Asked me to return but I couldn't, since I was taking my kid to practice. I said I would try to come the next day, but I didn't know when because I didn't have my work phone in front of me. 5) bank called again and I didn't answer so they left a message. Said if I didn't come back next day they threatened to withhold my money by canceling payment on the cashier's checks. 6) bank called yet again a few minutes later. Kicked off the call with a friendly "this is on a recorded line" opening for legal reasons and reiterated the threat. Nice lady who clearly felt bad that I would have to come back, but hey, if I wanted my money, I'd have to waste more time dealing with them despite my good faith attempt to sever ties because of PNC's error. Worked in customer service many years. I know people make mistakes and I know rules exist for a reason. I was unfailingly polite when closing my account. PNC didn't need to threaten to withhold my deposits, but clearly if you don't follow their rules, they will use it against you, but if PNC screws up, you should expect to bend over backwards to accommodate them, even if its to get YOUR money.

Dirty trick that tied up a large amount of money unnecessarily. I moved to TD Bank where they, so far, respect the millions of dollars a year I deposit into their branch. I've had both a business and personal account with PNC BANK for years. From time to time, my veteran owned/operated business, has had fraudulent charges that need to be disputed and I've never really had issues doing so....Until the new manager refused to help in any real way. Instead of helping, he worked at closing both my personal AND business accounts! Closing my accounts threw me into BANK PURGATORY. By that I mean, when I tried to resolve the disputes, I was blocked because I no longer had an account with them. The branch refused to talk with me, online was useless because I couldn't sign in and when I called the 800-number I couldn't get traction because NO ACCOUNT. Dirty manager! I eventually resolved the issue at great expense with an attorney. POS! be warned.

Every staff at this branch is nice. Especially, Ms Lynn! She helped me to open a account, it was a pleasant experience. :) Mt friend recommended me this branch and I'm doing the same to people around me.
