When you can get a hold of them, they do amazing work, but they are EXTREMELY painful to interact with via email or telephone.

Today is Tuesday, I called for assistance this prior Thursday or Friday with a “relatively small job. Left a message. Didn’t hear back so called again. Still haven’t heard back. Guess my problem is that I stated my need was likely an”relatively small job.” Folks, no doubt you blew me off give small $s. Shameful. Perhaps others will agree your behavior is unacceptable.

Problem: Verizon moved my wireless router to the opposite end of my house and rendered my home office useless--no connectivity.
I called this company to run the network cables from Verizon's new box in my basement back to its original site. This is pretty straight forward, but because my business depends on connectivity I decided to let a "Pro" handle it.
I expressed the urgency to get this done from the onset. At first it appeared they were going to be great. They squeezed me in and came out 24hrs after I first called. The measuring etc. took about 10mins. Doug said he would send me an estimate and then we'd go from there. I reminded him that I was at a standstill and the cost of the work was less of an issue than the time. It took 2 days to send me the $250.00 estimate. Within 3 minutes of receiving the estimate I responded "estimate looks great, please let me know how soon you can get me on your schedule." Pretty straight forward....right? IT'S BEEN 5 DAYS, I'VE SENT 2 EMAILS AND LEFT A VOICEMAIL WITH ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL. NOTHING???
If he'd said they were toon busy or anything I would have tried to get it done elsewhere. Now I've wasted a week with this unprofessional bunch of amateurs and I have to start over!!!! Meanwhile, urgent business matters are being delayed.
Do not place any faith in what this company says. Simply not reliable.

I hired Practia to do a home theater install (5.1 speakers, mount tv, run data cables) and they did a great job! I really enjoy my new system. Doug was extremely easy to work with and had great attention to detail. Would definitely use them!

I recently had Practia wire my house for coax and Ethernet. They came to my house quickly to do a walkthrough to discuss the work that needed to be done, and had good advice on how to do the wiring such that ti would be non-obtrusive and manageable.
The work that they performed was done very well in a difficult space. They went the extra mile to make sure that the wiring could be in-wall with minimal cuts into the walls, even when it meant doing some construction.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the service that they provided, and I will definitely look at them again for any of my home wiring needs.
