Made an appointment online then got a call from the salon asking multiple questions and putting me on hold after each question, like they were calling for someone else and didn’t know what they were doing. Then asking me if I can come in earlier than the time I scheduled that day I said I couldn’t come in 30 minutes earlier because I had already rearranged my schedule then asked me to come in four days later than the date that I selected online. The entire conversation told me that the place is not professional and I needed to speak to someone in corporate before I went any further. Contacted corporate to be told that I’d hear back in 48 hours.
TO HC: WHY DO YOU HAVE AN ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM IF YOUR NOT GOING TO PROPERLY MAINTAIN THE SCHEDULE & NOT GET ALL THE DETAILS THAT YOUR EMPLOYEE NEEDS?

Very disappointed went online book appointment the first available was at 4 so I took it. They called me at 1 and said t hey couldn't book it they was full I needed to come another day. So unfair to me the Manger Ashley was not understanding at all. Kept telling me the girl was doing a color and it was going to be 6 before she was done. That's 5 hours no way. This was very wrong.

Got hair colored highlights cut twice now. Mariah in California MD. Did a great job. The coloring products don't last long. I had an appointment today at 4. I got to salon they she she went out on maternity. I didn't get a call or text. The girl told me I only had two weeks to come back. They don't tell you that when you spend hundreds. Twice Hair Cuttery associates have canceled my appointment on short notice, which is bad enough, However after the appointment time has passed they send an email to me stating that I was “no show” and telling me they value their associates’ time and that in future I should give 24 hours notice if I can’t make it. After the first one I called to voice how irritating that was. On the second occasion I asked the associate who was canceling to make sure I didn’t get such an email, got the ridiculous email again. Oh, and the email is a no reply address. They do not want to know how badly they have treated you.

My wife uses them and her experiences with them have been nothing short of amazing. Seems to us with there restructuring they have moved forward in a strong positive direction. She was very pleased with the pricing as well. Happy wife, happy life as they say.

I had a terrible experience at a Hair Cuttery location. I made an appointment and when I arrived, no one was at the store and while the lights were on, the doors were locked. I waited for half an hour to see if someone would return, but no one did. I left without a haircut and out the cost of parking because no one was there to validate my ticket. I submitted a complaint online and called Ratner company about this experience and was told a regional manager would contact me. When they didn't, I called again and was told the same thing. Now it's been 10 days without a word from them. At this point all I can do is leave reviews so that others can avoid these companies.

Basically went in to get my daughters hair cut colored with chunks (red)...and i had a haircut.In the end her hair was cut flattened but no color...called head office no reply its been almost 10 days

I worked at the Salon Plaza for 3 years, I tried to leave beforehand when my contract was up and was threatened with putting a whole year on my credit because they need "90 days notice". So I stayed. What it all boils down to is poor book keeping and bad location management, I should've known from the beginning when the ceiling kept leaking it was a sign to go. They did try to be accommodating on certain things but when it comes time to fix something or money it's the biggest problem. The building is falling apart, I'd rather go to a port a potty on the last day of Woodstock then use the bathrooms there. My clients and myself had to start going to other stores in the shopping center to use the bathroom that weren't much better but still better. I had had enough by them and left immediately because I pay my booth rent weekly and this is unacceptable. I didn't even work my last week or so there and just paid my rent. They never give a printed copy of your lease, take forever , or don't get back to you when it comes to questions on the lease or payments. I had an issue on credits to the account while I was out after having surgery. I always have to keep records and provide it to them when when I need info they wouldn't have it and say we'll get back to you and won't. Now they keep switching the contract and date and won't give me back my FULL deposit and are only offering me a portion, I stopped working there over 9 months ago, haven't gotten any resolve. I spoke with the person on site, the district manager, and left messages for the person above her and never heard back. I've been in contact with the corporate or "main number " she has no contact number to refer me to over them. This is ridiculous.... I just want to move on and get my money that I'm owed.
