Our 2023 Subaru Crosstrek came in for an accident that happened that lead to the replacement+painting of a new driver door and fender. We ended up choosing Ray's because the shop next door had a wait and we wanted to get the job done. Ray's had great reviews and happy customers, so we figured they would be trustworthy to get the job done. Oh boy were we wrong.I'll include photos of the work that Ray's defended as being up to standard; despite, the opinions of many other professionals I consulted. Many of whom said it was sloppy and it's an embarrassment they ever released the car to the customer the way it was.The car looked fine from 20 feet, but as you looked closer, the countless flaws in their work began to show. Left over residue on the A pillar that doesn't come off, dirt that was painted over (10+ all over the door and fender), a plastic trim piece that was quoted in the repair and wasn't replaced (conveniently when confronted they said that they "forgot to say it was on back order" despite the fact it was readily available on one of Subaru's replacement parts distributors). They claimed the painted over dirt could buff out and that the residue on the A pillar is original from the factory and is "orange peel". It was not either of these things. The spots did not buff out.We had to revisit them many many times and finally on our last visit with them, the owner Jennifer, blew up and yelled at us. Total lack of professionalism, class, and most importantly, pride in your work. They messed up and they were never honest about it.My advice looking back is on this experience, if the guy next door has a wait and the guys you're looking at don't, it's probably for good reason.Take a good hard look at the work that Ray's is proud to do for their customers. When confronted, expect them to not do anything about it, waste your time, and to top it off, yell at you.P.S. THIS WAS NOT CHEAP EITHER.

I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service I received from Ray's Auto Body! They recently repaired and repainted my BMW M3 rear bumper, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional, making me feel confident that my car was in capable hands.The repair itself was nothing short of impressive. My bumper had some damage and scuffs as it's an original 1998 M3 sedan, but the skilled technicians at Ray's worked their magic and restored it to its original condition. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the repair, from the seamless Estoril Blue paint match to the precision of the work.Not only did they deliver exceptional craftsmanship, but they also completed the job within the promised timeframe, minimizing any inconvenience for me. The pricing was fair and transparent, and I felt that I received great value for the quality of work they provided.I highly recommend Ray's to anyone in need of top-notch auto body repairs. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. My car looks fantastic, and I can't thank them enough for their outstanding service!

Whoever reads my comments. Do not even doubt Professionalism, price, and truthfulness of This service shop. I never met them, I never took work to them, until two days ago 4/17/2023. Trust me folks: They are great Customer service is super. I had a small work on my driver side door Jeff was so nice to come, take a look, give a very low cost estimate (below my expectation). Order the part, called me next day, fixed the car in one hour and called me to pick it up. What a fantastic service Please if you have a body work on your car, first check with these folks at Ray's Auto Body. I am a 77 years old man and honestly I have never experienced such a wonderful service from a Mechanic/body shop

Had an unpleasant experience. Came here for the good reviews from neighbors. Jennifer (the owner) was hostile and unprofessional. I understand she was overwhelmed (“I have 30 damn orders to take care of”), but doesn’t justify her demeanor. I’d suggest having all your discussions in written so she won’t back off her words. I was disappointed to see that she will now harass customers for paying a check/cash as she’s unable to pay credit card fees. Not the experience I had expected. The place has become quite run down; maybe needs revamping. Very unfortunate.Services: Body & Trim

I had to get a small amount of body work done on my car from wear and tare. This was not a big job not a big money maker but Ray's treated me as if it was. They went out of their way for me to make sure the pricing was the best and got the products in ASAP. I ended up needed more parts than we had originally thought, none of this was their fault and they worked with me on the pricing. They ordered the parts right away and let me know when they came in. The office staff is very friendly and polite. They did a great job fixing my car and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work done to their car. Worst customer experience I've ever had. I called the shop to get an estimate on the cost of labor for reattching the metal guard underneath my front bumper. I was quickly put on hold, then 30 seconds later was told the mechanic was with a customer and hung up on point blank without an explanation. I've experienced some racist acts from Latinos in the past and encountered one here because I can't think of any other reason someone would do this unless it's racially motivated. I would caution non hispanics against this place

I took my car to Ray's to get an estimate for repair and ended up leaving it there to be fixed. They worked seamlessly with the insurance company to get my car as good as new. They even drove me to the car rental place in Tyson's Corner to pickup my rental car when it became obvious that the rental car agency was going to be majorly delayed in dropping off my borrowed car. Jennifer from Ray's Auto Body kept me informed of the progress of my car. She is very knowledgeable and understanding. I have been using Ray's for over 30 years so I thrust them to do a good job. I am a use of Washington checkbook and Ray's gas a great ratings there. If you really want accurate reviews use checkbook where people don't submit fake reviews
