One of the more pleasant experiences I've had in a car dealership. They were professional and not pushy. We just couldn't agree on a price. I recommend Stohlman

I had an excellent experience buying an ID.4 at Stohlman. The salesman, Jose, was friendly, helpful, and never pressured. I was impressed that although due to supply chain issues, the car arrived a year after I made the reservation, he held to the original price. Service has been a nightmare. During the last year, I tried 6 times to schedule service--including recalls. My online chat requests ended with "I'll get back to you." Never happened. Once. For the second recall, I managed to leave a voicemail for the service manager. No response. After three days, I went in person. He said he was down two men. I asked him how long it took to make a phone call. I got a couple of emails from Volkswagen recently about maintenance. One wanted $535 for inspecting seals and bearings on a one-year-old car. The second one didn't specify anything. Asked online. No response online in a week. I went in person. The sales manager was, of course, not there. Buy the car, but realize that once you have, your relationship with this dealership will be terminated as far as they're concerned.

Don't plan on waiting for your car to be serviced. Was told it would take 1.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation and a new battery for my key fob. Still waiting and it has been almost 2.5 hours. The service tech said they got busy. My car has been completed for at least 30 minutes. I watch them parked it. Got my key back without my key chain. Very frustrating.

The Volkswagen Taos that we purchased from this dealership wasn't what we were expecting. In less than two years while driving this car less than 10K miles, we had a bunch of problems. First, the dashboard monitor began freezing and won't come back until you spend several minutes driving. The service person told us that that was due to cold weather, something doesn't make any sense and wasn't addressed during routine maintenance. Second, coolant began leaking, so we had to request a new coolant. Third, horn stopped working suddenly. So, before other problems get addressed, now we have to start thinking about this since it is not safe driving without horn. Fourth, I was surprised to see that we get charged for annual safety inspection when other dealers offer this at free of charge. To be honest, German cars are so overrated and overpriced regardless of their brand names. Definitely not planning to buy them again.

It all started with them locking key in car at reception. instead of asking for spare key, they fished through window. took over 3 hours for service, which turned out to be just an oil change. i was lucky. the woman who needed a new gas cap waited two hours. if you prebook, they will ignore, and imply that you ordered the more expensive service.

We love this VW location! Jimmy in service went over and above to get our only vehicle back after diagnostics, offered the state inspection , (which was performed and executed) and even washed the vehicle in less than 24 hours! He even towed it from our house! Highly recommended!

Took my car in for repair. Two things were not working air and wiper motor. At first, they wanted to charge me $194 TWICE to look at each problem. The wiper motor was loud and slow, so there was no reason to charge me for that assessment, so I told them just to diagnose the air. He called me back with a $3600 quote. They apparently decided to check the whole car, additionally finding an "oil leak in the vacuum system." I told him I had not seen any oil on my driveway and he said it was all internal. He said they would not even sell a car with those problems and that VW would buy it for $500 and then scrap it. I told him I was going to pick the car up.When my daughter went to pick the car up it would not start, the battery was dead; there had been no problems with the battery. She told them about the problem and they said the alternator was broken and they would need to fix it before she could drive it home. Apparently the car not starting was a small fact not noticed during the in depth diagnosis. They were then rude when the tow truck came and refused to help her move the car out of the garage. In fact the tow truck driver had to tell them, a couple of times, to move as they were standing in front of the car as as he was punching the car by himself.WE BOUGHT OUR CAR AT STOLMANS AND USED THEY SELL FOR 8-11 THOUSAND DOLLARS.When it arrived at a local garage I told him what happened and the quote and he asked if they offered to buy it for $500!! THERE WAS NO OIL LEAK. I have never felt more scammed in my life. If you have an existing warranty certainly take your car to them as there is little motivation for them to scam you. But if your car is out of warranty take your car at your own risk, buyer beware!

LOVE my New Car!!! I spent 2 months searching and When I walked in they took the time to help me find what I was looking for. Financing was easy (but a little long). In the end, I walked out with a new car priced right and a relationship that will continue for years.

Be careful buying here!! We were ready with a check from the bank to buy. The vehicle was four wheel drive and only two tires were replaced. There were a few other concerns with the vehicle. Instead of ensuring the issues would be looked into and corrected, the salesperson tried to justify the problems. Instead of ensuring the right thing would be done, the sales manager told us to wait and he’d get back to us. They were going to replace the tires for the same asking price but not address any additional concerns from the car facts or when the vehicle was test driven. We looked into other options that evening and called back to let them know we would move forward with another vehicle. The salesman this time was very helpful and straightforward. However, when being transferred back to the sales manager to let him know we were moving forward with a very similar but better deal he was abrupt, only cared about his “sales margin”, and stated he would no longer be replacing the other two tires. Therefore, has no intention of doing right by the customer but only caring about the bottom line. Hopefully someone who reads this with less knowledge of vehicles will read this and not get taken advantage of.

So it's lunch time on a Tuesday and we roll up to the Showroom and go in. 1. It smelled like an Italian deli, there was no way I could have sat for the length of time to write a contract, but after a minute of being stared at, someone came up and asked if we needed help, I said, "I'm here to buy a car". We offered to wait outside for an associate, who never came outside. We walked the lot, and finally got back in my car and left. In my pocket? A Preapproval from my bank. You can buy a car anywhere.

Not a great experience.I normally use my trusty local mechanic, but was forced to go to this dealership due to an airbag system issue he wouldn't address. Stohlman charged nearly $700 to replace a sensor in the system, an unbelievable charge.Unfortunately, when I got home after the repair I discovered my rearview camera didn't work, the electronic latch on my trunk was dead and there was an error message in the "ParkPilot" system. I had to go back to Stohlman to fix the mess. Not a great first experience.PART TWO:So, I bring the car back. After assessing the situation, Stohlman tells me these problems have nothing to do with my earlier repair and I need to pay nearly $1,300 to have a wiring harness replaced. I'm stunned, disbelieving and suspicious.I ask to speak with the service manager. Several hours later I get a call from the service desk telling me the service manager put another mechanic on the case who discovered THE PROBLEM WAS A BLOWN FUSE. There never was a faulty wiring harness.I didn't get an apology. I never heard from the service manager. At best this was incompetence; At worst they were trying to knowingly charge me for service I didn't need. I can only imagine if my daughter had brought her car in. Also, I'm very curious what they would have told me if I'd paid the $1,300 and after they made the repair they'd then discovered it was only a fuse.I'd avoid this place.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Please read this review!! I bought a 2022 Taos ( a newer model compact SUV). I bought this vehicle in July 2021. Since purchasing this vehicle I have had many recall repairs on the car; aside from this, I recently complained about a safety issue I never witnessed before. The car reverses while I'm in drive. I immediately called the manufacturer and I was shown ZERO concern or empathy. They told me to go to the dealer to get a diagnosis. I did just that. I was then told by Stohlman's service consultant Sam, that there is nothing wrong with the car. Two days after receiving my vehicle, my car completely STOPS in the middle of the highway, the car proceeds to tell me to turn on the engine before starting the car....while I'm in drive??? I record this and explain to the dealership once again this car has safety issues and can cause my family and I danger. I spoke to Steve, the Manager, and he assured me he will try to help with this issue. I have yet to receive calls from anyone and their lack of concern is appalling. I have left voicemails, and emails to corporate with no follow-up. I will have to file a complaint with the business bureau as this is NOT how you do business. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE.

I had been looking for a new vehicle for awhile and I finally saw one that caught my eye in price, so I reached out and, as expected, heard back quickly. I skipped over the weekend and came in on a Monday morning to test drive. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and not pushy which I like. I arrived around 10:30 , test drove two cars, and left with a Tiguan by 1pm. Financing was easy to work with too. This was my first car buying experience in many, many years and it was the exact opposite of the negative experience I was expecting. Kudos to Stohlman. I'd recommend working with them if you'd like a Volkswagen too.
