“I like this thrift store. It’s very laid-back and clean. Small collection no smell. But I love coming in and finding something new. The only reason I gave a four stars is because sometimes when you come in there, the people who are working, I know they’re volunteers but say hello make an eye contact or something. I’m really bad with eye contact but you know at least say hello. Make someone feel welcome.”

“Reasonable prices are very organized store. I highly recommend them for any unique items you need in a thrift store. You’ll find the Uniquest finds in the store.”

“This is one of my favorite places to thrift as it’s so close and I typically come out with some good finds. As others have said, the prices in recent months have started to increase quite a bit- including pricing books higher than original retail price. Still love this place but hope they don’t keep increasing prices so that it continues to be a go-to.”

“Really nice selection of jewelry, clothes, shoes, and home decor with super reasonable prices. Bought some cute bangles. Happy to support and know it’s going to a good cause unlike thrift stores like goodwill. Hope to see this place stay open in the future :)”

“What a beautiful little antique shop I ran across today. The Owners are extremely nice and welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the antiques history. My husband bought me the silver tea set as a Valentine gift. I could have left with more but did not to get carried away because I pretty much loved everything.I also like that they had soups and beverages for sale in front of their store with a seating area to eat and enjoy the scenery. I plan to refer others. I will definitely be back!”

“Very nice little store; make sure to check out the upstairs too. The staff are very friendly, and you really can't beat their prices! When it comes to thrifting & secondhand stores, this place is the #1 hidden gem of Herndon. I thrift a lot and this is definitely one of my favorites now, after just one visit.

Also, the store supports a nice charity, which is definitely a plus! If you live in Herndon and have things you want to donate, I would suggest donating here.”

“HUGE variety, clean, & organized. Profits help local families in need. Furniture, art, glassware, clothing, jewelry. Changing rooms. Prices higher than goodwill but reasonable. And they have a discounted color every week 50-75% off! Good lighting, wheelchair accessible BUT one step to enter. Plenty of free parking.”

“Don’t be overwhelmed when you walk in! Keep browsing and you will find MANY treasures! And at a great price. Unlike other discount stores, prices here can be negotiated!! Everyone was so kind and helpful.”

“Love to shop there and their two other stores in Springfield and McClain. Nicely organized, clean, smell good, unlike other thrift stores, and have good quality stuff. Thank you for your volunteer work.”

“I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the service team and Joey in particular! I stopped in early this morning when I realized that one of the screws for my rear tag holder was missing. When I arrived, I was greeted right away with a friendly smile and they were able to take care of finding the appropriate hardware quickly and efficiently- and they installed it too (which was unexpected but really appreciated) Although I shouldn’t need any repairs for a while, I’ll make a point to stop here first. In my experience, the quality of work can be observed in the small interactions you have with someone, and if my experience today was any indication of the usual customer interactions, then I know I’ll be in good hands if I ever need additional work done. Thanks so much for helping me get back on the road!”

“I love second chance! The prices are actually thrift store pricing, they have generous sales, and it all goes back to the animals. Huge selection of very nice dog supplies as well. Definitely check them out!”

“They have an entire floor downstairs dedicated to upscale furniture and housewares. Designer clothing upstairs and reasonable price. Just don't expect thrift store prices.”

“What can I say... Thrifting a.k.a. recycling is the way to go. I can't tell you how many things I find that are brand new with tags & this location is no different.I went in specifically looking for some French onion soup crocks, and I found them in brand new condition $3.99 a piece whatta baaaaahhhgin! This location has a bunch and I mean a bunch of brand new with tags George Mason University spirit wear aka shirts & sweatshirts, so if that's your U then go get some gear here for dirt cheap...waaaay cheaper than the campus store!I will say I find Salvation Army, at times, a bit more expensive than Goodwill or Unique but they also have a different selection so you just need to dig. This location also has a drive-through drop off for donations, which I utilize all the time, and they actually retrieve it from your car for you which is amazing. Profits are re-purposed into the programs that they support and used for the good of all concerned.”

“Found some of the best items I have discovered at a thrift store here. I love that all the items are standard priced which is fair to the community and also people who thrift as a hobby. Overall the staff were great and it was easy to navigate the store. Definitely worth a visit!”

“One of the only good things about Herndon is this place. The atmosphere is amazing, the deals are fair, this place is not one of those “hit-or-miss” areas. It’s mainly a hit.”

“Not your typical thrift store. It is upscale but very well displayed and organized housewares, clothing, books, decor, etc donated by people to benefit Inova hospital.”

“I’ve always found some cool stuff whenever I’d come here. Some of the items are a bit overpriced but for the most part, I think it’s pretty reasonable. Their staff is very kind as well!”

“I always like wondering around habitat for building supplies I think little items are priced much better than larger items. I came looking for paint supplies and they had none. I ended up buying light switch covers 3 for a dollar, I also saw a Stackable dryer $900 and washer $700, both used but for those prices I would go to scratch and dent where they come with a warranty. Some items were very high other fairly cheap, but certainly worth a look.”

“Superb Salvation Army. I travel the US. All of these stores have different sale days and amounts. Not universal (comment for the woman angry it wasn’t 50% - note signs clearly state 25%)
I shop twice a month. Staff is amazing - kind - helpful - Wednesdays the place is typically packed so expect a little bit of a busy atmosphere. They are open late - fun to wind down a day to just look. Prices have creeped up but I have to accept that. Do NOT argue prices or switch tags. Just don’t. I’ve found outstanding - I mean outstanding - furniture and housewares. They seem to get truckloads of stuff so good stuff comes in and out fast. Still - takes a good eye.”

“Huge location. Very organized with a large inventory. We found several excellent deals. A lambskin leather jacket for about $15 and a brand-name rolling computer bag that would normally cost hundreds of dollars for a mere $10. I'd been looking for one for months and hadn't found anything I wanted to afford. This suited me perfectly. It was not busy. Excellent location. Eady to park. I've been bringing donations to this location for about 15 years but never went in. Now I know better.”

“Wonderful customer service! Daphne and Caroline were so helpful and gave me a refresher on how the process worked again as I haven’t been in a couple years. They were only able to take a couple items as this store is a selective location (I called and knew this prior to arriving). After checking out, Daphne and Caroline had referred me to the Dulles location to try my other items and the Dulles location had taken a majority of what was left over. Overall, a great experience and will definitely come back next spring cleaning!!”

“This place is amazing well organized, always has great quality and great prices and don’t forget about the employees. They are so helpful and so sweet always so welcoming the only Goodwill I know that we welcome you as you come in. !!!”

“They have a nice selection at this store and the clothing section is really organized. They have a featured discount each week- this past week when I went, it was items with a purple price tag. They do need to increase the number of employees at the cash register though- I had to wait in the checkout line for 15 minutes. When I got to the register I asked if this was normal and the employee said that it was the typical wait time on a weekend. 15 minutes is too long of a wait to check-out in my opinion.
A few months ago someone stole my wallet and turned it into a bin at this Goodwill location. An employee did the right thing and dropped it off at the police station- I really appreciate their ethics at this location. Highly recommend.”

“Finally found a used book store with actual used book store prices around here. Also have good art pieces from time to time. Hope they do this at more locations. Not much into physical music stuff so can't speak on that but would be surprised if it's at least not decent but know it's at least cheap!”

“I am not a big reviewer, but I have to write a review about the most wonderful, caring employee who just helped me unload and donate an SUV of donations at 8:55 when they were almost full from donations from that day. He could sense my sheer panic when I realized I was too late, and he was so patient and kind. Savers, give this young man a raise/bonus/promotion. He was considerate and kind - I have never interacted with someone like this when trying to drop off donations. Thank you, awesome person, for being so understanding and considerate of a tired, slightly cranky mom.”
