“For those saying the clothes are for older people, well, I'm about to donate all my young people clothes there! Lol have fun! They are mostly nice people working here, but only once they notice I'm donating. Before that, I don't get a very warm welcome. For a small business to stay strong, that stuff matters. Oh well, I know people can be kind, even if they aren't nice. I still donate.”

“I was on vacation and stopped into this cute little thrift shop. The lady that helped me, Sonia was so sweet. I ended up buying a few high quality items that I was surprised would be in a thrift shop. Overall, this store is so clean and the owners are wonderful people. I will definitely be visiting next time I'm in town.”

“They have a wide variety of clothing and household items. There is a big collection of pet supplies, lots of harnesses and collars plus small animal supplies. Prices are either on the item or listed on a sheet at the entrance of each room.”

“I woke up in the mood to go on a thrifting adventure and decided to see what establishments were in my neighborhood and discovered that The Bargain Loft was less than a mile away. Tucked away in an industrial park, the store is quaint yet extremely well put together and merchandised ... it really made shopping fun because the way they had everything arranged literally caught your attention and drew you in. Oh and the entire store was 50% off so it made discovering treasures even that much more exciting. I purchased a unique pair of boho wedge sandals and tons of bracelets and a necklace ... all for $15!!!! I didn't take any pics which is so unlike me, but that just tells you how much fun I had and I'll definitely be back!”

“What a beautiful little antique shop I ran across today. The Owners are extremely nice and welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the antiques history. My husband bought me the silver tea set as a Valentine gift. I could have left with more but did not to get carried away because I pretty much loved everything.I also like that they had soups and beverages for sale in front of their store with a seating area to eat and enjoy the scenery. I plan to refer others. I will definitely be back!”

“The Pink Elephant, owned and operated by the Woman’s Club of Springfield, is a fabulous shop serving the community in many capacities. It is always full of unique and random treasures! All Volunteer owned and operated, the store is a haven for bargain hunters and new friends!”

“I couldn’t find any clothes for myself but there were definitely some really interesting pieces! The majority of the clothes weren’t for me though, and I’d say their pants section is lackluster. However! There’s not a huge selection, but there is a nice variety. I LOVE their collection of prints, paintings, and vintage postcards. They also had really fancy dishes if you’re looking for plates, cups, and bowls. The staff are also really nice. Would definitely go again if it wasn’t so far.”

“This is the best restore I’ve seen. There are some really high-quality and special gems here. It’s also massive and packed! Prices do seem a little higher here, but it’s worth stopping in.”

“They host annual bazaar at this place. The place is spacious and a lot of vendors come to sell and promote their merchandise here. It's big enough for all the vendors and customers, but only to the point that you still feel the community spirit. Fun place to be around!”

“At Hogan & Sons' Joey was incredibly helpful and kind; he always makes you feel welcome and at ease. Joey will see to it that your car has all it needs. To provide you with the greatest care possible, he goes above and beyond . Joey genuinely appreciates helping people . He won't hesitate to work with you to provide the greatest results because he doesn't care about money. He truly cares about the customer and getting them the best that they need. The entire crew was also incredibly friendly.”

“Well laid out. Clean. Organized. Friendly staff. They don’t make you feel like you’re in their way like other locations. Lots of clothes. Mostly clothes. Which for me was preferred. Was just at another location. Disorganized there with a boutique rack with jacked up prices. Higher then TJ max. This place didn’t appear to have a boutique rack and had high quality clothes all mixed in. The prices were very reasonable.”

“Absolutely wonderful service and I found so many stunning glassware. I came in with no expectations but left with a cart full of boxes. I love this store and the prices are very reasonable.”

“Not your typical thrift store. It is upscale but very well displayed and organized housewares, clothing, books, decor, etc donated by people to benefit Inova hospital.”

“What can I say... Thrifting a.k.a. recycling is the way to go. I can't tell you how many things I find that are brand new with tags & this location is no different.I went in specifically looking for some French onion soup crocks, and I found them in brand new condition $3.99 a piece whatta baaaaahhhgin! This location has a bunch and I mean a bunch of brand new with tags George Mason University spirit wear aka shirts & sweatshirts, so if that's your U then go get some gear here for dirt cheap...waaaay cheaper than the campus store!I will say I find Salvation Army, at times, a bit more expensive than Goodwill or Unique but they also have a different selection so you just need to dig. This location also has a drive-through drop off for donations, which I utilize all the time, and they actually retrieve it from your car for you which is amazing. Profits are re-purposed into the programs that they support and used for the good of all concerned.”

“From other reviews, the experience seems to be hit and miss, no half ways. Mine was excellent, staff was polite and helpful, store was very clean with roomy aisles, merch and prices were good. I liked the prices be written with permanent markers, in other thrifty stores labels fall.I will definitely return.”

“I loved my experience here. Everyone was helpful. Vast selection of everything! And I walked away with a great deal. To all of my fellow Thrifters, if you know how to thrift, this right here is a godsend.”

“This Goodwill location on Main Street has a better selection of clothes, furniture, books and household items than most and the items are in good condition. Friendly cashiers and the store layout is easy to navigate.”

“i loved their selection of knick knacks actually!! their collection of vintage photos was a nice surprise :) and have a really nice selection of cds! clothes were kind of meh 8/10 and they don’t allow people to try them on, but have a 4 day return policy”

“Huge location. Very organized with a large inventory. We found several excellent deals. A lambskin leather jacket for about $15 and a brand-name rolling computer bag that would normally cost hundreds of dollars for a mere $10. I'd been looking for one for months and hadn't found anything I wanted to afford. This suited me perfectly. It was not busy. Excellent location. Eady to park. I've been bringing donations to this location for about 15 years but never went in. Now I know better.”

“They have an entire floor downstairs dedicated to upscale furniture and housewares. Designer clothing upstairs and reasonable price. Just don't expect thrift store prices.”

“You really can’t beat the Salvation Army retail store! The prices are great - I bought a really nice pair of Converse Chuck Taylors there and actually scored some kid’s Air Jordan 1’s once. This is a thrift store so you must really look over the items before purchasing. Some of the clothes have stains and or holes. That, however should be expected at a thrift store. Anyone expecting all the items to be in mint condition should probably shop at a regular retail store. So for what it’s worth, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt and finding that one perfect item makes it fun. Go in with proper expectations and you will enjoy the experience!”

“Teresa & Megan are very kind and polite, the customer service here is great. I told Teresa that my glass items were a gift so she wrapped them up my in towels before bagging them, amazing! And Megan went out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for, thank you so muchThis Goodwill only sells books, videos, and art. But, every time I come here I find something cool. It’s clean & organized as well, one of my fav stores in the area”

“I went to this goodwill today and was helped several times by a cashier named Fatima who offered me a basket when she noticed I was holding several items and was kind to me again later at the checkout. Thank you to her ?”

“I visited this Goodwill with my 2 youngest daughters looking to do some late back to school shopping. What follows with shopping at a goodwill is the stigma, an employee of this store named Sergio made sure I was welcome and even helped my youngest, find a pair of shoes that she's obsessed with. Surprisingly enough, this isn't what I'm writing my review about- I overheard a customer be extremely rude to him and his manager, this staff is so kind but you tend to forget the horrible treatment they receive from other customers! Unbelievable and Disgusting. I wanted to thank the manager for training such a wonderful staff but I think they were busy enough. This will become my go to Goodwill.”

“Very often a good bargain to be found here. Prices very reasonable but the good quality stuff goes quickly so you need to visit the store 2-3 times a week to time it right. Deals to be picked up particularly if you are looking for furniture or stuff for your apt or house.”

“So far, I have the best experience here. I’ve bought and sold clothes in the Manassas and Fredericksburg location. The associates are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. I’m usually able sell the majority of my clothes and shoes here and they don’t usually have a cut off of when you show up to sell. They have about 3 rows of men’s clothes and the rest are women’s. Plenty of men’s shoes here and good quality and name brands. Prices do seem a little on the high side, probably due to being in Fairfax County.”
