I have been using U-Haul for over a decade. This rental location is the absolute worse location I have ever rented from. I refilled the U-Haul and Jan wants to charge me for one more gallon of gas. I’ve been here for 24 minutes as he “checks” the truck in intentionally slow. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. GO TO THE U-HAUL RENTAL LOCATION IN FALLS CHURCH. Always a good experience there.

UPDATE: The owner called me to see why I gave a bad review. I explained that the person working the office June 9th on Sunday was just nasty and rude. The owner proceeded to tell me he isn’t rude an that he had to attend to other customers. Yet Myself and husband were the only customers. He also yelled at us to move our cars. When there were like 5 spots open an we were no were near the uhauls. The person working locked the door an didn’t allow us to purchase water. The owner pretty much called to make excuse so I disconnected the call. As I stated in the original review. The employee was rude an nasty and so was the owner when he decided to call an make excuses for his rude employee. Read the google reviews an you will see the same complaints.

The truck was clean but had a noxious odor. I returned the truck with exactly the same amount of fuel as when I rented it (I purchased gas) and was charged for gas anyway. Rip-off, just as others have said.

This location is a scam!!! I swiped my card for $47 on my credit card for initial hold upon pickup. I checked my account and the guy hit my card twice for an additional $77.50. I tried to look past the previous reviews but the guy does not know what he is doing. I waited to get a receipt after using the truck just for him to tell me he thought an earlier customer was me, and that is why my card was hit twice. Who doesn’t check license’s before making a sale? Unprofessional and will not suggest to anyone looking to rent.

BEWARE!! SCAMMERS!As other reviews have said, they overcharge you and try to slip in unnoticed charges.1. First, when I made the reservation I put 10 estimated miles. When I arrived the attendant tried to quickly get me to swipe my card but the total seemed too high. When I asked why, he then said that I had requested 100 miles. Well I double checked the email and no I did not put 100 miles, I put 10.2. When I dropped off the car I asked if he wanted to do a revision of the car together. He said no, I’ll email you later. The situation felt weird so I took a video of the car exterior and photos of the milage. I had estimated 10 miles but it turns out I only used 7.An hour later I received the emailed receipt and it included a $10 fee for 2 gallons of gas and it showed the tank at a lower level. This was after I only drove the truck 7 miles!!I wrote to Uhaul denouncing the scam. If Uhaul doesnt fix it, I will be charging back with my credit card company.

Wouldn't rent to me even though I was staying nearby and could walk to the location. The only option they provided was a location on Columbia Pike, several miles away, with no parking.

Grabbed a Uhaul recently and they over charged the amount by double without even telling me. I called and they tried to give me the run around and told me to contact Uhaul customer service. They don’t take responsibility for their own actions. Spent 30 plus minutes with a nice uhaul representative and they wouldn’t even get back to her. Avoid this location at all costs, they will rob you blind and deny it.

I was able to reserve a truck day of. Went to the gas station and was able to park my car on the side of street. Inside of the rental truck was dirty and smelled and I don’t believe they cleaned it in between. Drop off was also simple and quick. I would recommend for quick UHaul needs.

Avoid location! We made the mistake and parked the car on the gas station grounds (small sign on corner mentions not to do that). Attendant saw us parking and when we got the keys from him did not mention this, BUT called us on the phone to move our car 20mins into the rental...

My daughter rented a truck for her moving to college. The service attendant was very nice and efficient. The store was very clean and the mechanic shop we in good order. The kind owner was very receptive and welcoming. The Overall experience was wonderful.??
