This cosignment shop is not a favorite. They are very picky and only select [very high end] merchandise, even if your items are in new condition, stylish, and still have tags. On top of that, if a cosignment check gets lost or not delivered in the mail - they will not replace it - it's
just money lost.
As far as shopping there, they have a lot of what I consider to be eclectic pieces that are very high priced. If you're looking for modern and fresh, this is not the place. For the very high prices you pay at this shop, I prefer to purchase brand new - not second hand consignment items.
As far as consignment, I prefer to use a shop where quality items are more welcome.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would! ❤️ Cannot recommend Wardrobe Rescue enough. Have been shopping and consigning here for years. Whether you are looking for brand new, vintage, classic, or rare pieces Wardrobe Rescue is the best place to go for all your designer and high end needs. Not only does the staff always make me feel welcomed and taken care of, but this place also has some of the most beautiful one of a kind bags, shoes, and clothing ive collected to date. If you are going to buy designer pieces spend your money here with this local business that cares about its customers instead of a big corporation that is just trying to make their next billion.

I mean the quality of the items are pretty solid but the price is almost as high as just buying these items new. American Eagle jeans for $52??? I could get them cheaper at American Eagle on sale

I have been consigning with Wardrobe Rescue for over 5 years. Within the last couple of years, the owner has changed her business model and barely accepts gently worn items anymore. I always take her high-end, great conditioned items for consignment consideration but lately she won't accept anything that isn't brand new with a tag on it or worth thousands of dollars. It's not really a consignment store anymore. I also noticed that she sells all second hand items at almost MSRP value! It's shocking! If you want to try to sell your nice items in the Northern Virginia area, try the Fashion Exchange in McLean. They accept gently worn/good conditioned items without the hassle of trying to sell online through Poshmark, etc.

The store owner is lovely! My boyfriend & I shopped here for some birthday gifts and she was so helpful with picking out the perfect items. Top quality, reasonably priced, great selection of beautiful items. Absolutely will be back :)

I recently found out about this shop so I decided to stop in and check it out. I was greeted warmly and allowed to browse at my leisure. There was a great selection of items to choose from. I happily left with some great pieces. I found Nikki very helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back again and tell my friends.

I have consigned at multiple consignment stores, this is by far the worst. Not only the owner has attitude, but the whole experience makes me really question the honesty and integrity of the owner. When I went to the store, I saw the price range of Louis Vuitton bags. When I checked my account, my LV was sold way out of the range, like 20% of the lowest price of all LV bags in the store. I do not believe that was the price was sold for, and of course I only got 50% of what they said it was sold for. Honestly I could just donate them rather than giving half of the money to this store owner! And she has all these rules that no one else does, such as she only gives you a check (instead of other forms of payments), and minus a dollar for each check, and you have to wait 30 days to get the full check minus one dollar, otherwise she will deduct more money out of your check. The owner will find any way she could to benefit herself. While I was at the store waiting to pick up my stuff, she was arguing with another woman regarding lost/"donated" items... THE WORST consignment store in northern Virginia!

There is apparently an audience soft-spot of people spending 50-200 dollars on everything at this store. As such if you leave something here, it doesn't matter if you paid 3k retail, and can sell for a lot more online, it will be most likely be priced around 200 or less no matter what. Be prepared for that when you leave things here. Also when you make an appt to drop things off, you do not get told at the appt what your item will be priced to start . It's either take it or leave it when you show up for your appt. They price it the way they feel like after you are gone. You need to feel like you would be ok if you sent it to donation and just be glad you got a little back. If you are looking for fair market vaIue, go somewhere else. I left a lot of things including some gifts I received from friends when I was in my 20's. I was unsure about the authenticity. The store owner hands it back to you with no words. She doesn't claim it's fake, she doesn't explain her reasons, she doesn't say anything. Even though I was just looking for some answers about authenticity from a so called expert, I got none and felt like she was implying I was trying to pull something on her. I found the owner to be condescending through the whole process, sold some things for multiples less than worth. She operates a used goods store for heavens sake. I won't be going back.

This place is an absolute scam. They’ve owed me a check since August and insist it will be “sent out soon”, but here it is November and still no check. Makes you wonder how well this business is doing if they can’t afford to pay a consigner less than $200. I’ll be contacting the Attorney General’s office about their fraudulent practices and will probably have to take them to small claims court. Just unbelievable unethical practices. Avoid at all costs.

I love coming here and browsing the beautiful pieces they have. The woman who owns the business is so kind and greets everyone with a warm welcome. The selection is great and there is a wide variety of designers high end and more affordable pieces. I highly recommend!
