Gave a reason of not getting $100 deposit back for not telling them I was checking out. It's a hotel it should be assumed that if you have not paid for more time you will be checking out. Duh

Allison and Gricelda were very welcoming and helpful. Whenever I needed help with something Allison was prompt in resolving the issue, and Gricelda took so much stress off of me from how well she took care of me and cleaned my room weekly! Very friendly! The location is also very close to all the food places, grocery stores, and gas stations you could need, as well as close to the clinics and hospitals if you're travel nursing. On site laundry was also very useful! If I travel in that area again I would gladly rebook with them.

This is the perfect property for the perfect price point! The application process was seemly and not painstaking. Housekeeping was on point and accommodating to my night shift life. The manager, Allison, was so easy to get along, kind and helpful! There was never a problem I had that she couldn’t help fix! She gives great restaurant recommendations too! The property was clean, pest free, and quiet. It’s in a quiet town called Vinton. The neighbors seemed nice and respectful. There was never an issue with parking. The drive to Carilion was an easy and quick one. If you’re looking for a clean, safe and spacious place to stay, and a professional manager to work with, this is your sign!!! I will absolutely come back to this property if I’m in Roanoke!Rooms: Clean, no pests, mold, G the housekeeper is amazing.Safety: The area seems very safe! I never had any issuesWalkability: There are several restaurants within walking distance. I was able to go for runs when the weather wasn’t so cold.Food & drinks: The food in the area is wonderful! Downtown Vinton is cute!

I recently stayed here for about six weeks and highly recommend it! Allison and her staff were so pleasant and helpful, the suite was extremely clean and safe, and it's ideally located for shopping and restaurants in both Vinton and Roanoke. In Vinton, it's an easy walk to many restaurants and shops, as well as the library. I really enjoyed my stay there and was sad to leave!

American Efficiency Inns is a well-established extended stay "home away from home" establishment. That caters to long-term guests, business travelers, and those looking for temporary apartment like accommodations. (I needed a quiet place to work for 3-4 weeks)Allison the owner and property manager was nothing short of wonderful and helpful from the time I called her until the day I left. Very responsive, caring and professional. (I almost didn't call due to what a few of the reviews said about her and deposit issues) but when I noticed it was only a couple of people I decided to try anyway and I'm glad I did! I had no issues with Allison or with getting my deposit back.I had a wonderful stay she and her staff are amazing and I don't know of any other 'pay weekly' place that includes a cleaning service. I was in heaven. I'd leave for my walk on Tuesday and come back to a spotless apartment.Everything from sheets to towels ot pillows and bed linens are provided. There is also onsite laundry facilities.The rooms at American Efficiency Inns are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Each room is equipped with essential amenities such as comfortable beds, clean linens, and a table, microwave, stove, chairs, etc. making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers.In short, from check-in to check-out it was an A+ place to stay!

If you have a$200.00 deposit that you don't need then yes sign up. Because you will not get the ", returnable " $100.00 either. Claims they pay an outside cleaning service for extra cleaning. SMH. I would like to see proof. Cause the $100.00 from the $200.00 total deposit you will not be getting it back for one made-up lie after anotherWe bought a rug for the inside at the door. The manager claimed that they had to get the carpet in the bedroom cleaned. Which is the only room with carpet. BS again if you claimed it then it needed it like all carpeting does over normal use. Unless you are nasty and don't care what you bring in from the outside. I should have billed a plumber invoice for constantly adjusting the toilet flapper so the water wasn't wasted therefore keeping the water bill down. ? I was also picking up other people's cigarette filters on the grounds (mulch, parking lot sidewalk) we smoked in our car. You are welcome Ms. Allison Finney.Cindy HarveyLocal guide

I lived here for a total of 1 year and 6 months and would have loved to stay forever but needed a two bedroom. My space was clean with all the amenities which made it easy because I work a lot. The owner and housekeeper are nice and amazing! It’s very quiet and my neighbors were friendly. If I ever need to only have a 1 bedroom I will definitely go back because out of all the places I’ve lived this was by far the best and will be missed

The lady there was extremely rude and unprofessional. She plain out refused to help me because of the actions of others... I simply asked if she would contact me when she had an available unit because I am homeless due to my abusive ex kicking me out on the street with nothing but the clothes on my back and she straight up refused (with an attitude) she said too many people have requested to be contacted but never answer when she calls. How this is any fault of mine, idk? But to turn away someone in need because you are a miserable person is completely unforgivable. When did customer service become a thing of the past. No one takes pride in their businesses and they definitely don't give a damn about customers. Sad world we live in now. I hope when they need help, they aren't met with the same evil that they themselves give to others.
