I had a debilitating back injury and spent a lot of time in physical therapy. When I was strong enough, it was recommended to start with Pilates with Rachel. I started with several one-on-one classes before I was ready to begin group classes (which really made me feel more comfortable and confident). I have now been going for over one year and feel the strongest I have ever been!!!
Rachel has a strong knowledge of anatomy and tailors her instruction to each individuals’ history and abilities. The small class sizes are another excellent aspect of this Pilates program!
I feel very uplifted in my continued journey to healing; I could not have done it without her instruction and support.

I have had the privilege of working with Rachel Robertson, a Pilates instructor extraordinaire, and it has been a truly transformative experience. I have been attending Energy Within Pilates classes for one year. In a word, Rachel is the Best! I have suffered with debilitating neck issues for 12 years. I had previously worked with some of the best sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, acupuncturists etc. with little result’s regarding my neck pain. I decided to try Pilates last year and met Rachel.Rachel has completely cured my neck pain and I consider this a miracle! Rachel’s knowledge of the anatomy, and best Pilates practices continues to help me with strength and balance. I highly recommend Rachel. Love the small class format and the individual attention Rachel provides is a key to success with Pilates!

If you are looking for traditional, classic Pilates instruction, skip the big box options and come see Rachel! I was introduced to Pilates many years ago but just recently started taking classes more seriously. Rachel will start you out privately to get to know your body and movements and then you can move into classes (no more than 2 other people). Rachel is so patient and attentive, that cannot be matched at the big box Pilates studios. If you've wanted to try Pilates, give Rachel a call! Your body will thank you!

After working with Rachael for over a year now I can honestly say she is an excellent instructor. I deal with a pretty serious back and neck injury with hardware that requires constant care, exercise and training. Rachael's years of experience has helped me tremendously. Each session based on how I am feeling is tailored to assist me moving better and in return less pain. She is extremely knowledgeable and I have learned through her instruction how I can do pilates safe and effectively. I strongly recommend trying a session with her. Rachel has been a tremendous help with my bad knee and shoulder. I’d spent months in PT with no results. She’s has me pain free. I have learned so much about my body and how to connect. We started with basic moves that have developed to more advanced strengthening exercises. I highly recommend Rachel for anyone interested in improving mobility and flexibility.

I'm in my late 40s and work a lot.When I came to class I had pain in my legs constantly and my shoulders hurt. I was uncomfortable at best.Rachael and her abilities have transformed my life,pains are gone and my body is well! I'm sleeping and living better. I had been doing yoga for years in the hopes of it helping with my back pain. Then my PT told me she likes Pilates better than yoga for back pain. I found Energy Within Pilates on the web and have been amazed at how much my back pain has been diminished through strengthening my core muscles. Rachel has years of experience and knowledge and the class sizes are small so you get individualized attention. It’s a great workout and I don’t get bored because she is always changing things up. I highly recommend her.

Rachel is "hands down" the best pilates instructor. I have gotten hooked working with her. I have strengthened my core, improved my balance, increased my flexibility and just improved my overall fitness. I am so grateful to have worked with her!

I have been attending private pilates classes with Rachel for one month and I am so grateful for her dedication in teaching me everything from proper breathing while doing the exercises that are strengthening my core and preparing me to be strong for knee replacement in June to teaching me how to retrain my muscles to work as they were meant to work! I was recently congratulated on my flexibility at a recent appointment with my orthopedic surgeon. When I told him I was taking pilates he exclaimed, "Keep doing what you are doing." I highly recommend taking classes with Rachel. She is sensitive to your specific needs while encouraging you to test yourself and work toward better health through proper body movement and control!
