Kroger Sushi has been good before. The current team can’t even cook sushi rice. It’s a mixture of hard and mush textures. The hardness comes from being undercooked and the mush comes from being to old and preserved poorly. I just spent over $30 on 3 different sushi options and the fish was alright, but the rice makes it yuck. This is now two times in a row. I don’t like to waste one bit, so this is very deserving of a 1/5. Please have the sushi chefs up their game in quality control. Obviously they’re making the sushi as quickly as they can. Quantity over quality obviously.
For anyone thinking that this is store bought sushi, you should know better. I travel over 600 miles a week. Sushi in kroger, fresh market, ukrops, or Harris teeters, in my opinion typically tastes great enough for me wherever I go. It’s my go to snack, vs grabbing fast food.

The Kroger employees, are polite and helpful. The store has many specialized products, that you can't find at other stores. The prices are consistently reasonable, get a free Kroger discount card, at Customer Service, it helps save a buck or two. Also, the store is well organized, and very clean.

9:30 pm - The person managing the meat department can't sell 2 gorgeous filets at $26 a pound. Not his fault request the acting manager, no manager on staff. No one either knows how, not permitted, or won't price the steaks. And you would have thought I asked them to jump into shark infested waters. They don't know how to weigh, wrap, and sticker meat after 8pm!

Placed an order last week for chicken for a company luncheon. Received an email confirming the order and an email reminder about pick up. I was told the day of that the order was to big for them this early in the morning (pick up was scheduled between 11 and 12). They called 30 minutes before pick up time to make us aware. I'm not even sure who they called, but it was not me. Thankfully, Bojangles was able to accommodate our order. I will definitely think twice before ordering there again.

Pharmacy basically picks and chooses when to refill medication & lie on the phone . Brought this up multiple times never adjusts . I would like the store number and corporates phone number . Because at this point someone needs to come in and teach you how to count.

Was greeted by a drug addict passed out in front of the store. Asked cart boy about it, he seemed okay with it. Went to Sushi, a container of chips had fallen and were on the floor. When I came back to get my Sushi an hour later, chips still on the floor. I asked the sushi attendant about it and he said "oh yeah". The bar and wine area is disgusting and REDICULOUS. Maybe u could use the bar workers to clean. Store was filthy and gross. Never to return.
