IF I COULD GIVE THIS CRRDIT UNION A LOWER SCORE I WOULD. PLEASE NEVER BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE. I COULDN'T Get a 30 day late removed or reversed that was there fault. Website was down due to maintanance and phone # did not work snd with covid those are the only way I bank. When I was finally able to contact someone they said they would reverse it when I set up auto pay and brought the account current. 5 months later and still going thru it with these people. Bouta contact a news station and make a couple youtube reviews on this credit union. WISH I WOULDA DID MY RESEARCH!!

please do not bank with this credit union. every-time i call somethings always changing. one day i can make a phone call too pay my husbands car payment the other day i cant. they declined the ach form without notice and payments went delinquent and we had no idea until they gave us a 3 day notice in the mail for repossession. horrible bank. cannot wait to pay off the car so i dont have to deal with this credit union.

Not surprised by the other reviews ! Customer service is not a priority here . Take your business elsewhere! Marcellus map was rude and unprofessional to say the least .

The car dealer close them as a lender and since I was going to pay it off soon enough, I didn't mind them instead of my bank. I should have gotten a loan from my bank! I wasn't able to apply extra payments to only the principal but again, not a huge deal. Called to get the loan close out amount, paid over there phone and that part went fine. They assured me they would cancel my future recurring payments. Got my title. Then they took my loan payment from my bank account. Now they say it is up to me to stop by, I can use popmoney or come to a branch to get my money. Popmoney doesn't work on a loan account. So basically, their own folks don't know their internal policies and procedures.

This 1-star rating reflects my opinion of their online banking service. It seems so antiquated. The staff is friendly and helpful when I visit the branch but the process for online banking is ridiculous (if you need to reset your login credentials, etc.). It's very disappointing.

I just need to give Stephanie a shoutout for all her help! In 2018 we started the divorce process and she was so patient with helping us as we figured out some of the financial aspects, including assisting us with getting my car put in my name with a new loan. The timing wasn't right (read: we were a mess and didn't have anything together on our end.) She was patient and understanding. When I went back months later she really helped me look at things from every angle and helped me see all my options- not just the ones that would be beneficial to her/Bayport. I really felt like she scared and made an effort to make a genuine connection. She is a delight to be around and I will drive out of my way to visit this Bayport location just so I can continue doing business with her. On a more general note about this branch- it's in a convenient location. My interaction with the tellers has been positive. There is plenty of parking.

Phone and website terrible so I decided to go to the branch on Holland. Still waiting to be seen an hour later. Only 2 service people working on a Monday morning before the 4th of July. Terrible.

DO NOT get a loan with this bank! They have horrible customer service and lie and don't do what you ask when they say they did. I previously had a car loan through this bank, and I traded vehicles so the car dealership was about to pay off the rest of the loan I had with BayPort, and I had an upcoming payment for the old loan that I had called to cancel (I didn't need to make the payment because the car dealership was about to pay the balance off). I spoke with a woman on the phone who assured me she canceled the transaction and I would not have money coming out of my account. The next day, low and behold, the funds came out of my account anyways. When I called to get them transferred back, they said they could not transfer them back to my account, and that I would have to come in and withdraw them myself. I am active duty, and PCS'd from Virginia over a year ago, so I could not just up and travel all the way back to Virginia for this. They said the best they could do is put the funds in a savings account at BayPort and hopefully within 48 hours I could go to a Marine Federal Credit Union and withdraw the funds. This is ridiculous and poor customer service, I wish I would have taken down the female's name that I spoke with so I could formally report her. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!

We went here to try and refinance my girlfriends car because she got a pretty high interest rate on her current loan with another lender and even tho she has good credit, no debt, and never missed any payments they said they can't refinance the loan because the car is worth $15000 and she owes $17000.... So we called Langley federal and got approved by them right away for a 3% interest rate loan which is way better than the rate she had been paying... I would say don't waste your time with bayport and just go straight to Langley federal.
