This store has lots of wigs, extensions and costume jewelries for ladies on a budget. Wanted to try a wig but was asked to pay $1.00 cash. Their few postings make this a less customer friendly.

I wouldn't wish my experience today on my worst enemy. Me, my mother, and my two younger siblings went to the store this morning to buy supplies. Before we went to the hair aisle, we approached the makeup aisle to check out some lip products. We settled on a few items and put them in our shopping basket, which my younger sister was holding. I had a feeling that one of the employees were watching us and talking about us rudely but didn't say anything about it. So we went on with our trip and went to the back where the weave is. Randomly the same employee I had an off feeling about comes behind us and starts looking into our basket saying she's looking for the things we just picked off of the shelf. We were slightly surprised because we didn't do any gesture that would make someone assume that we stole anything. When she looked into the basket that my sister was holding, we were all surprised that it was empty because we had just put things in there. She starts to accuse me of knowing where the products were and shoplifting them because I was the one holding them before they went "missing". I was stunned because I've never stolen anything or never plan to, especially something of such small value. We looked around the store and even asked my 3 year old sister where the things were but she wouldn't tell us. The lady continued to accuse me and my mother of having the products and hiding them over and over again. Eventually she stopped and we continued with our shopping. When we went to the register to check out, my mother already agreed to pay for the products that were "missing" because she knew we didn't steal them and didn't want us to be accused of such a thing. While I was walking around still looking for the products that we "lost", I found them on a shelf right next to the area we grabbed them at. I brought them up to the register saying I found them placed on a random shelf and that I knew we didn't take them. The same woman who randomly approached us before told the owner to check cameras to make sure it was the same products we had grabbed earlier. After looking at the cameras they realized they made a heavy assumption about us and started acting differently towards us. The woman even changed her story and said that she saw them in the basket that my sister was holding and didn't see when she took them out, when before she was aggressively accusing me of slipping them in my purse. Me and my mother were so upset about the whole situation because we wouldn't do such a thing ever. They made us feel guilty and uncomfortable due to us being black women. This type of racial profiling is very dangerous to their business because it's safe to say that black women are funding their business. We're definitely never going back to this establishment again because theft is a very hurtful thing to be accused of based off of color. The woman who initially came up to us made us uncomfortable and looked at us in a vain way. She also spoke to us in a rude tone the whole time we were being accused. This whole encounter was ridiculous and elevated to a degree that was unnecessary. I understand that preventing theft is an important thing, but the way they handled the situation is unacceptable. If you're ever in the area, I would recommend going somewhere else and not this store.

This used to be my go to up until a few weeks ago. I completely understand theft is a thing to be cautious over and you have to protect your business but don't do it in a way where your customers feel so uncomfortable they decide to leave. I'm not someone who steals and don't plan on it so the fact that one of the owners were following me the entire time I was looking for items to the point I ran into her when I went to walk to another aisle bc I didint realize she was RIGHT behind me is an issue. It felt really invasive and that I was being punished for something I never do. I simply put my items away where I found them and left. I don't want to spend money in a place that conducts a business is that way. If you guys are this worried about theft please invest in more security cameras and not relying on one of the store owners to pick someone who looks a certain way to follow and breathe down their neck. Anyways Ideal beauty supply up the street is 10x better and they allow you to shop without someone standing on your back.

I always come to the store when I'm looking for accessories, makeup, or hair products. They have a good variety of items to choose from. They also sell fragrances, contacts, lashes, jewelry, and lots more.. The owners and staff are nice and normally friendly. They always have Christian music playing and its nice to listen to while shopping. They normally are pretty cool but on this occasion they followed me around which made me a little uncomfortable. I'm assuming people have been stealing. So to a point i can understand. But i almost walked out and didn't buy anything. It was just to obvious. I spend good money there!! That's my only complaint. They have tons of wigs and hair pieces to choose from. Most are lace fronts which are more expensive. I like this store. Check them out!

Typical beauty supply store. Prices are a little higher on products but that's to be expected for beauty supply stores. Most of everything you need you will find! I have a 4 out 5 because they always seem to be out of stock of the dark brown NYC brand brown pencil I use.

I'll say the typical wish I could give them one star before I start. If you have alopecia or any type of medical hair loss, DO NOT COME HERE. My friend had asked if there was any private area that she could take off her unit, and try on the THREE she was looking to purchase. The owner told her that there was no where for her to try on the unit privately. Even after ensuring the woman could stand near by her while she secures it on her head, she still refused her the privacy. This is when I chimed in to ensure I was understanding that she was refusing her the ability to try on. We left feeling very discouraged, but not before she followed us around as if we were about to steal the units instead. We found the exact same units on amazon, she saved herself well over $100.

I bought a really cute wig from beauty 2 go on vabch Blvd by citgo. It was almost 200 so I questioned the price and she said well is 100% human. She gave me a nice discount on the wig and I wore it out of the store. My first day wearing it, it started shedding really bad. I was sitting at work and hair just started falling off the wig. I goggled the name on the wig "Bijoux"! And like I thought the lady lied. It's a human synthetic mix. I wont buy any more wigs from this place. If you buy anything check behind them because they will tell you anything to make that sell!

I got my first and only wig here a couple of weeks ago. I was a participant of the St. Baldrick's Shave to Raise event where my head was shaved and funds raised for pediatric cancer, and I would need a wig for Navy Reserve purposes until my hair grew back into regulations. I was a bit nervous coming in here because of the stigma that white women only shop for wigs during chemo, but the lady walked me thru the entire process and made it super simple! Major plus is SO MANY CHOICES! The reason that I rated this 4/5 stars is that it was pretty cluttered and a bit disorganized. I will definitely be returning for any future wig needs.

My go to beauty supply store since living in the area. They have it all...and then some. The owners and employees are great with answering questions, giving feedback, and letting customers test things out. You can buy a wig cap and try a wig and you can ask for hair to be removed from a bag to check the texture. There's usually always a sale on something, but they currently have a big sale going on with multiple products in the store. Minimum $10 fee for credit card usage.
