This place was easy to get into and only $15 a night and centrally located. I felt very safe there.

Truckstops pretty rundown! parking lot has more canyons than the Grand Canyon. Tried to have my motorhome washed. The guy charged me $75 and rinsed it off when I pointed out the dirt he missed he said he was done. I told him I wasn't happy, they don't seem to care that he never washed the bumper or side of the motorhome. The Rims still have dirt and grime on them. I guess the thing that really amazes me is he never even cleaned the bird poop off the windshield. I talked with the lady and the fuel desk and asked to see the manager who was very nice and refunded half my bill. CANNOT RECOMMEND!

Prices for food are a little bit expensive here but they have a parking lot and the night security guy is a bit rough around the edges but after you get to know him, he's pretty cool they were nice enough to let me stay in my cargo van for the night if you're looking for a place to stay as a Truck Driver or an expediter, I suggest giving this place a shot as there's no other truck stops insight for miles

Came in for a weight ticket for a military PCS. They handled it quickly and already know exactly what information needs to be on the ticket. I am very satisfied with their speed, efficiency and ease for the process. I highly recommend them.

Military move made easy! First Enter from the back of the store. Then Let the cashier know you need to weight vehicle/s. Drive vehicle/s on scale. Step out so it can be weighted (tell intercom you're ready). Drive off scale, Go back to the cashier to pick up slips. Be prepared to pay 15$. Then receive 2 slips total. Done.

We are currently homeless living in our mini bus that we are converting to a skoolie/tiny home. We were in a bind trying to find parking so I called here. On the phone I mentioned our situation & that we'd need to access our bus at all times bc we live in it. The woman on the phone was nice& said that wouldn't be an issue. So my husband went there and paid for 2 weeks of parking. Later that day we had the bus towed there (we had to order some parts so we were waiting for them to come in an didn't want to just park in a random parking lot and risk getting towed) from the shop which cost $230. As the tow truck driver is lowering our bus off a man came rushing over in a golf cart "YOU CANT PARK HERE THIS IS FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!" My husband explained he bought a 2 week pass... then he says "I DONT KNOW WHY SHE SOLD THAT TO YOU! YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CDL TO STAY HERE! WE DONT ALLOW PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THEIR VEHICLES HERE!" Basically yelling at us. I started crying because we had already been through so much that week, we had no where else to go or any money to pay for another tow. AND it happened to be my birthday. Not only would they not refund our money until we left the next day but they charged us for that night and told us "they'd let us stay ONE night but if we weren't gone the next morning he would have someone tow us out!". This was THEIR FAULT and they never offered to pay for either of the tows. The next morning we woke up and set up the tow to leave there (another $250 that we had to borrow in order to do) and there were 3 vehicles that had just pulled up during the night, never paid a penny, and the women were getting changed outside of the vehicle!!! They came and went not paying anything! He we were trying to be honest, upfront, and pay them for our stay... and these people get to stay there for free because the lil man in his golf cart wasn't around at night?! But they told us we were "rif-raf"?! We saw so much going on around there that I'm glad we never ended up staying! But we were treated so disrespectfully bc of THEIR mistake! Treated us like trash because we were homeless. It was ridiculous! Please don't give them business!!!! Here's a picture of the people who got to stay there for free overnight yet they took our money and treated us like SH!T.

Big Charlies Truck Plaza is an awesome, clean and friendly place with showers, scales, overnight parking, slot machines a very comfortable, clean lounge including massage chairs, dining tables and a TV. This place has everything a trucker needs to feel like being home! There are over 7 fast food places and a 5-star restaurant and a bar and grill within walking distance.

Staff is pretty unfriendly. I'd ask for a small receipt because I have to fill out paperwork and attach it. I generally get looks from the staff like how dare I ask for this and then I say thank you and they not say a word. Stared filling my truck up at the Pilot dealer in Suffolk or the pilot travel center just south of Richmond. Won't fill my semi up there ever again. Trust me I've gave this place at least 10 tries as a new class A truck driver and pretty consistent with bad service. Not that great on cleanliness around the pumps.. only thing going was lighting but did feel that safe still.
