The prices at CHKD specifically have gotten so outrageous. While I did find some things I liked at this location, I could not believe the prices. It is no longer accessible for those looking for affordable items so I don’t think I’ll be back. It’s way worse than goodwill.

Staff is not friendly. When making donations, no one offers to help. They just totally ignore you like they are afraid you are going to ask them to help. I make donations regularly and donate good things, not junk. This has happened on more than one occasion, and I just hope my donations are for a good cause.

They raised their prices big time! No longer affordable for many of the people who rely on them.

My husband, mother and I found a small table we wanted which wasn’t priced. We asked for help from a young man. He told us we’d have to wait for a manager to price it. I told him we’d look elsewhere and he said, “that works for me.” He had the nastiest and most unfriendliness disposition. Someone needs to teach him customer service skills. It’s so sad that in most cases, this is the attitude of people in stores today. They truly do not care if you go without buying or if you ever come back again.

A good place to drop off donations. Note: Once the donation is inside the store, it's their property.

Used to be one of my favorite stores but the pricing recently has went up astronomically. The dirtiest Converse & Vans I’ve ever seen in my life priced at $9.98 or $12.98. Well past any cleaning possible. Other shoes like Brooks & ASICS not even remotely in decent clean condition as well priced bare minimum at $19.98. Anything on the display shelf looks to now start at $29.98 and they used to do regular markdowns after a week or two but they are far and few between. So disappointing. The highest store in the area in my opinion.

I have never been more disgusted by abuse of pricing than doing a quick shop around this store for fall decor. The person pricing things has completely lost the plot. A soup pot, granted modern cast iron, but no top and at $22. Jackets and coats w tags, not even from high end stores/brands, 49.99, and up.The thing that actually made me scoff in disgust was a jacket in the women's section. Mind you it looked used, was slightly faded and past its "in style", and no it was not vintage. Was $89.99. The brand not a well known quality and I just gave up. It disgusts me that they would put something at that price that was a donated item. It's abuse of the privilege of being a donation thrift store. It's not the first time I've noticed over priced items in the CHKD stores. But it is the first time it has been so grossly obvious. Just a note, there were also really used jackets and coats and sweaters at over $20. That honestly shouldn't have even been over $10. I will not be shopping or supporting these stores until they get a grip on whoever is doing the pricing. Makes me even think they are "holding" the items to be purchased later by themselves, as many estimators and pricers are dealers in their own right. Thoroughly Disgusted!

OWNER/ MANAGER please get rid of the no tag no sale policy. Don’t punish all because someone removes a tag. I thought every sale made a kid well?? Terrible policy.

Rude. Just rude. They have a bin marked $0.98. But when you try to purchase something out of the that bin they say nope, that’s not the price. They acted as if I took the price off. Hahahaha, it’s a thrift store. They act as if they have new items. Rude old ladies

My daughter tried to go in to shop for some new to her clothing. She came back to the car upset. She was told she could not bring her purse in, because it resembles a small backpack. She did not feel comfortable walking around carrying her wallet and I could not go in with her because we had our puppy in the car. She has never been told this when we have shopped at other CHKD stores.

Came in donating 3 huge bags of clothes almost brand new. As I'm donating items I pick up to nintendo controllers and off the bat offer 30 dollars. And old fat lady with a Grey shirt with glasses comes out and immediately takes the remotes, tells me no and proceeds walking to the back to hide them. I will not recommend anyone donate to this store. Such a horrible woman with no manners. WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK OVER HERE.

If I could give zero stars I would, outrageous prices, horrible customer service and poor management, somebody from corporate needs come in to do a little house cleaning at this location before the rude managers and employees run this store into the ground. Dont waste your time here.
