Review of CVS General Booth, Virginia Beach
I recently had a disappointing experience at the CVS on General Booth in Virginia Beach, specifically with an employee named Allison. After helping the customer in front of me, Allison proceeded to engage in a personal conversation with that customer for about three minutes, leaving me waiting without any acknowledgment. When I politely asked if someone could assist me at the next register, Allison responded aggressively and even called me “BS.” To make matters worse, the manager did not apologize or address the situation, which is unacceptable in customer service. I have since filed a complaint with CVS customer relations and will be moving all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy that values its customers. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I hope CVS takes steps to improve their customer service in the future. CVS must take a disciplinary action against the employee and the manager that i talked to he showed no signs of leadership.

Very very rude place had to get a prescription filled and the pharmacy guy was very rude and threw my prescription across the counter and did not ask if I had any questions when I got home I realize that I had a question I called back and the guy at the front on the store refused to transfer me to the pharmacy I myself have worked retail and it takes 2 seconds to transfer someone to a different department will be calling corporate asap will never go to this location ever again

I appreciate the employee that helped me on his own- I didn’t have to search and I wasn’t overcrowded by him- if that makes sense. He just knew I needed help. And helped- my card was not going through and he had the magic touch. So polite. And being 24 hours- his attitude was marvelous. Thank you!!!

Absolutely the most worthless pharmacy in Virginia. Every single time I’ve ever had to call I’ve waited 30+ minutes listening to THE SAME ANNOYING SONG OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER! Never have considered what being deaf would be like but after listening to this abomination for the last 57 minutes I think I just might stab my eardrums with a crochet needle… this should be considered cruel and unusual punishment. Clearly they hope people just give up so they don’t have to answer their phones. Absolutely and unbelievably unacceptable. There isn’t any reason why someone can’t answer a phone.

The lead pharmacy tech Presley was such a great help with my moms medication and took her time to explain how their system works instead of just blowing her off

Needed to grab some medicine at 11:30pm on April 2nd, and was met with a locked door, no notification of the closure, and two employees actively ignoring the crowd gathering outside. When finally acknowledged by one of the employees after 15 minutes, she informed the crowd that they were closed till 5am and simply walked off when another customer who was there to pick up a door dash order became annoyed.
At least put up a sign to let people know why you’re closed despite the store hours sign with Google, and the CVS website directing traffic there for those in need of a 24 hour drugstore.
And if you’re having trouble with staffing (deduced by observing the overnight team hiring notice on the door), pay a wage that would incentivize a prospective employee to apply.

Horrible customer service. The cashier was so rude and was stuffing/throwing my items into the bag, giving its an attitude and was really upset that she has to help a customer. Then I spoke to her manager and she was just as bad. Avoid this store and the rude employees
