Me and my friend went to dollar tree yesterday( 12/28/2025)night and were shopping and a lady came and told us no solicitation . That’s a bit confusing! “No solicitation” typically means no selling products or services, asking for donations, or distributing promotional materials !!it has nothing to do with laughing or joking while shopping. We just came back without shopping anything ! Sometimes people mishear or misinterpret situations, especially in busy stores like this dollar tree store 🙂 Go get some wisdom lady!! And I don’t know how managers hire these kind of employees !!

Every time I shop there I get followed around like I a thief when I spend at least $200 a week there. It's a shame that I can't even shop at the dollar tree without the staff peeking around every isle and following me like I'm going to steal a $1.25 item when I spend so much money there. Enough is enough. I'm done with that store. I will happily spend my money elsewhere. Nasty, rude, disrespectful employees. Except for the 1 guy that works there. He's the only one that's polite and respectful. Props to him. Otherwise I don't recommend this store to anyone until they hire new staff. Even the manager is nasty. Bunch of karen's.......👎👎👎

This place has some nasty people working there! Accuses PAYING customers of stealing… follows them outside and takes their photo! She was completely in the wrong and then never apologized even after knowing she was! Extremely unprofessional.

I go to this dollar tree all the time and have never had issues, aside from excess stock always blocking the aisles… On 8/27/25 however, I had an extremely rude employee (maybe evening manager?) follow me out to my car, take a picture, and accuse me of stealing—with receipt in hand! When we held the receipt out the window, she ignored us and walked back into the store with an attitude. I went back in and asked the other employee to call her to the front, since there was no resolution after she loudly and publicly accused of me stealing. After about 10 minutes of waiting for her to come out, I knocked on the office door, showed her my receipt, and asked her to delete the picture of me and my vehicle.
According to her, she was told about an issue with the self checkout machine and just ASSUMED we left without paying. No apology for wrongly accusing me of stealing, not even an acknowledgement that it was a mistake. I told her that was rude, and she ended up slamming the office door, which caused glass to shatter. The older lady that was working was wonderful and remained calm and professional throughout!!
Overall, very unexpected and insulting experience that wouldn’t have escalated if she had simply acknowledged the receipt in the first place. Simple errand has now turned into my first google review :/
