I come in the first time in 11/25/2023 there’s a line 3registers one cashier… the only cashier has a refund and she calls the manager for approval.manager comes up cashier moves to another register to ring up while the manager completes the refund. Manager finishes and proceeds to walk away! (Tall older male) I ask him are you not going to check me out the other cashier oh he can’t work on that register while I work on this one? not my problem family dollar problem the registers were just installed less thn Wht 6-8mths ago!!! If that was the case how did she move to another register while he completed the refund on the original register ? …. Came back later that day around noon and again a line this time 2 cashiers ?on two different registers! The two items I picked read 5.50/ item on price tag get to register 6.50 I tell cashier she goes to look thn walks over the store looking for manager (where’s the call system?) manager comes thn goes back to check as well…. He comes backs and says they had them in the wrong spot and if I wanted the 5.50 one I would have to go back and get them ummmm sir why wouldn’t you bring the items up if they put them in the wrong spot? This location has started to go down hill this year and I’ll just to another location beside this one . The customer service sucks

I will never give this company another dollar or a chance to Harass me again. If the policy is no backpacks then post it on the door. I ride a motorcycle. How else would I carry anything. I’m not giving an employee my personal belongings. F U family dollar. This is why I shop at Aldi and Publix.

Hi, call this location and asked if they had size 5 swim diapers. The guy on the phone says yes so I asked him to hold them for me and he agreed.. when I arrived to pick them up, he told me he actually could not hear me on the phone and does not know if they even carry swim diapers …

I had a good experience up till today 5/9/2023. I come here often because it is so close to where I live to where I can walk. I have this very small purse backpack no bigger than a small handheld purse. I use it because my shoulder can’t take one sided weight. I come in here often with it and I never take it off my back until I get to the register. Today I walk in and was yelled at to take off my backpack and to leave it behind the register. There is no sign on the door saying you couldn’t bring one in and I wouldn’t have a problem with it if the women who I’m guessing is the manager didn’t speak to me in such a rudely manner. I understand the fact people steal and rules need to be made but it is very disappointing of the mannerism of the staff.

I made a purchase from this store on 12/12/2022 @ 1845 and forgot an item that I purchased. I didn’t realize I had left the item until I return home which is about 8 miles away. Went back to the store to get the item with the receipt on 12/13/2022 around the same time of purchase the previous day; informed the cashier that I walked out the store without the item not realizing it until I returned home. She ask me if the item was put back, I informed her I’m not sure if it was put back or not I only know that I don’t have it. The cashier then goes to inform the manager on duty which basically she told the cashier there wasn’t anything she could do. The cashier returns to the counter and tells me I have to speak with the manager. I proceed to speak with the manager to tell her of what has already been said several times. The manager basically accused me of lying saying that she was the manager working on the night of my purchase and no item was left. I informed her that I didn’t doubt that she wasn’t the manager working but she wasn’t the cashier during the time of my purchase. I then asked if I could have the item that I purchased or my refund. She proceeds to get loud and ask me to leave her store and for me to return on tomorrow to speak with the store manager and I informed her that I work during the day that I wouldn’t be able to and she said get out of my store. I ask her what her name is and she stated get out of my store, that’s my name! She was very unprofessional! I even asked the cashier that the manger was being mean to due to the fact that her drawer was $5 over what the manager name is and the cashier was to afraid to answer. I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior. The manager was not wearing a name badge in order for me to identify her. Corporate will definitely receive a call in regards to her behavior. I work hard everyday an don’t have to lie about receiving or not receiving an item that I clearly purchased. It’s the principle of the entire situation. Store 11574 will not receive anymore money from me! Update, the manager on duty the above night name is Tammy! Tammy needs to be trained again on customer service and professionalism as a manager.

I used to like going to this store but I will no longer be shopping here. For the past week they've had a cash only sign up when in fact their debit/credit card machines have been working. I went by there yesterday to grab a few things and was rudely told upon walking in that their machines are down when they are in fact not. I've had two of my neighbors tell me they work. I left anyway because apparently they don't need my business. That and the fact that they told a disabled friend of mine that they should "shop somewhere else" because they needed a cart and none were made available is enough for me to never shop there again. I will gladly travel a further distance so I don't have to deal with lazy unprofessional staff.

One of their cashiers has been talking on her bluetooth earbuds while ignoring customers during checkout. Terrible customer service. It's family dollar so I don't expect much, but this is a no-no.

Very clean, incredibly well stocked. This Family Dollar has it together. Hands down better than the Dollar General down the street and better prices.
