Had went in to shop Friday and when checking out, this was the 3rd time Penny almost charged me regular price for a color tag item. The lady she was training actually brought it to her attention to correct. I had let the last 2 visits go after realizing this happened b-c the time to go back across town would have been time consuming. Not sure what her issue may be...I will be watching more closely my receipt before leaving.

They don’t hav sizes separated and I don’t have time to search through for my size. Wastes a shoppers time and most of us are working extra hrs to keep up with inflation so time to shop a limited already.

No dressing room racks. Team member startled me by shouting I had to put my own clothes back. It’s a thrift shop… put it back? What kind of dressing room doesn’t not have a back on the shelf rack. Not to mention how embarrassing to have to put back all the things that don’t fit. Horrible customer service.

I came to donate yesterday evening and wow is the man who came out rude!!!! No greeting just mumbling if I wanted mumbling I would have brought my kid along with me. He was careless with my donations; he couldn't even be bothered to say have a good day I said have a good day to him all I get is a "yeah" this is behavior of a teenager not a grown man I will be sure to spend my time going elsewhere moving forward I'm done with goodwill.

Over priced, over priced, over priced. Not sure how a thrift store that gets all of their inventory for free can justify listing items for sale at eBay prices.
They don't even follow their own pricing model which they have signs all over the store stating what prices are. Or what the sticker says. They have signs stating that books are $4 for 2. Nope had a rude lady say we don't do that. Then I decided to give it one more chance. Tried to buy a couple of toys which they have signs stating toys are $5 for 2. Nope, had a man at checkout just not acknowledge the pricing model. When I asked about the pricing he stated he didn't know about the sign. I tried to show him and he didn't want to learn about his own store policy. I asked to speak with someone else. They didn't want to follow their own posted policy either.
Somehow Goodwill has forgotten that they are a THRIFT STORE which gets inventory for free. People go there to find deals. If people wanted to pay eBay prices they can stay home and order and return the item if it doesn't work out. There is a reason that eBay has higher prices. Convenience, reach to millions of buyers, and a return policy. Greed will ruin everything. There was a Salvation Army store not to far from this location that closed. Prices kept going up, people stopped going in. The store closed.
Don't forget the business model that WAS successful

This is a very big goodwill with a good selection and of shoes and clothes. The toy selection is not very extensive and the store is outdated with lights out in the dressing room. The staff are here but often multitasking and hard to find

As a 25 yr. weekly shopper of thrift stores lately I've been having sticker shock at the Goodwill stores in my area. $1.98 for a 16oz plain { USED } glass is absurd. Almost $10.00 for a used pair of men's jeans? I've found myself not making purchases due to the price. Are they trying NOT to sell? Most times I leave without making a purchase.

Stopped by donation area on Friday January 5. Donation guy comes out and proceeds to comment on how my donation was trash and continues muttering comments under his breath. He then calls for assistance to which another donation guy comes out and it was like night and day he was polite, asked how my day was, helped me carry items to the door you name it. I don't think I've ever seen such a hit and such a miss in my life. Kudos to the guy who was kind and didn't make me feel like I was in the way and to the other guy well he needs some training on how to show people who donate their property some respect. I unfortunately will not return to this Goodwill location and I will be instructing others to do the same.

We went to buy an item clearly marked with a tag that had been on there for a long time $1.99. The cashier then proceeds to tell me that the tag was placed on there by someone else and quickly took it off and threw it away. Then proceeded to tell me that all stuffed animals are priced by a sign and they are all $3.99. The tag defiantly belonged on that bear. Prices are to high at this one. The prices are outlandish. It is NOT a store worth your time. There are much better thrift stores in the area. The store is also a mess and all of the clothes are jumbled everywhere and womans clothes are mixed in with the men's. Goodwill has totally strayed from what they once stood for.

This is one of the BEST Goodwills in Hampton Roads. The store is neat and tidy and they have so many good deals and finds! The manager who checked me out (young man) was very polite and pleasant. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this thrift!
