Went up to great clips after checking in online for my first cut there. I had stopped in the day before and spoke with the manager to find out how the process works to get a clean up of my new “chemo” hair. She was so sweet I came back today.
The staff amazing, caring, friendly, welcoming, supportive and answering questions about my hair adventure as it is growing back in.
I had stem cell transplant so this was a double whammy for my hair, chemo and new DNA, and these ladies were able to help me through to working on growing it back to get me eventually to my prior stylist.

The amazing ladies here did the impossible and managed to save my son’s hair after Legacy Sports Barbershop butchered his hair. I came in with two questions when I stopped in:1) “Would you believe me if I told you that I did not do this myself?”2) “Can you fix it?”They didn’t believe that it was not me who butchered his hair at first, but they were super helpful and able to fix it.

Been coming here for years and always have good experiences, two days I received the worse haircut of my life. Normally I’m in the chair for 10-15 minutes. This I was in the chair for less than 5 and it came out horrible..

Vickie ( great neck square, Virginia Beach) is the best! I wait for her when I go! She listens to your requests and meets them. I have difficult curly hair after chemo and she has done wonders as it grows back. I feel god walkingOut every time!

I've been going to Great Clips for years regardless of which state I live in. I've gotten the faux hawk for close to ten years now. It's simple and easy to manage. This visit, my hair came out crazy uneven and really chopped up. I had to go back knowing the only remedy would be to cut it even shorter. The manager re-did my hair. She explained that the assistant manager who'd cut my hair first time just wasn't feeling well that day. I would've felt better if I'd been told that the day of so I could've chosen a different stylist. I would've felt better with an apology, recut, and on my way. Instead I got excuses for the really bad cut. If you're not feeling well, don't cut hair that day. It's not fair the customer has to go through a bad cut, take more time to re-cut it making it shorter than you're comfortable with, and excuses for the bad cut. There was no discount or free cut on the next visit. Just reasons why the mistake happened to begin with. Though both stylists were friendly and personable, owning a mistake or offering even a slight discount on the next visit is not something this salon will do.
