I am standing in the Home Depot Store trying to exchange a range vent fan. We ordered the wrong size - can’t go to the store and look at them now they are saying they will not let us exchange this $900.00 fan insert. We are in the store on hold for a manager now and still waiting! If they do not let us exchange this it will be the last penny I spend at any Home Depot Store. There is Lowes, Amazon and other local companies who can give us service!

First let me be clear to Senior Management. In order to retain your jobs and avoid the unemployment lines it is necessary to care about your customers and not treat them as you would a number. your customers need to hear from you when filing a formal complaint through your "Resolution Dept". Secondly it would benefit you to hold your third party delivery company accountable to provide delivery as promised to customers who have paid Home Depot for a service. Estes Delivery Solutions is useless and is the most unprofessional as well as unethical company I have ever experienced dealing with. Estes Delivery falsified tracking info by placing in a text alert that a delivery was completed to a front door and delivered to the customer directly. This is totally unacceptable and I plan o. taking this concern to the highest authority!

Doors ordered in Jan. Told March 22 for delivery. About that time 2 came in, 2 didn't. Paid for delivery of all, but to expedite we picked up two and had two left for delivery. They finally came in this past week and delivery set for today. Ignorant driver did NOT give 30 minute call ahead and even when I said we were a few minutes away he was like "well I'm leaving the store and I'm close to the house:. He is also illiterate as our paperwork called for 2 doors to be delivered and he only grabbed one and delivered it. I called the store and now have a headache. They were saying next delivery date is 16th, I have installers scheduled for Monday April 11th.
Only good thing to come of this was the customer service employee, Debbie, has arranged for store drivers to bring the other door today. I'm sure she did what she could with what she had to work with.
We will see what compensation follows as now two persons have sat this afternoon awaiting this delivery and resolution and we self delivered two of the doors.

Home Depot is the go to store to get things to fix up the house. I have not come here because of how lose this is to everything. I can usually get everything I need out of here and then some. I will say the staff is not the most motivated staff. Sometimes there are a little slow to help or it takes a while to find someone in the right department. Overall they have a huge selection of things to choose from. I really like their grills. They really have a good selection of grills and wood chips and since I have a new love for bbq, I love this option. Overall this place is okay for all your home improvement needs.

The Home Depot on Battlefield has wasted my time and money in tolls for the last time! Twice this week I driven to their store to pick up a tool I needed, the item availability should 7 the first time and 3 the second time when got there none available. Lowes or another HD will get my business for now on.

If I could give it a zero I would. All I needed was help with getting a key copied and when I approached three employees standing around chatting with one another, I said "excuse me", and they looked right at me and then went back to talking with each other about a non work related topic. I told all three of them "f you guys, you shouldn't be working here". I was infuriated! I have never experienced more rude behavior and total disrespect than I did at this so-called business. I went to get a manager and that was a bust as well because I was told the manager was too busy to address my concern. Thank you Home Depot for making me a forever Taylors Do it Center and Ace Hardware customer for life! We spend thousands of dollars yearly on hardware supplies to support our family-owned business. Home Depot will not see another dime of that money and I will share my experience at this Lynnhaven store with everyone I know.

Just went in today to buy a vacuum that was promoted on-line for $129. First could not get the attention of anyone in the department as the 3 people were busy talking with each other. The display was hard to understand so we finally got a person to assist us. Surprise, surprise - Home Depot does not honor their online prices so we would have to pay $30 more. He talked with his manager who confirmed this policy because we would have to pay for shipping which was not true: shipping was free to home or STORE. We asked if they matched competitor pricing. The answer was yes but when we mentioned Amazon, he replied that they only matched "major stores"!!!! Obviously Home Depot doesn't think Amazon is a major competitor, well until they put this store out of business. In the time we had the discussion, I ordered the vacuum online as this will be another "brick and mortar store" destined to fail. I really wanted to give this store my business but they really didn't want it. So sorry, but everyone should know this store's policy.

if you are tax exempt it is a hassle here to get it off. we have been at home depot every day this week and have had no problem. come to this store and lady couldn't find our tax exempt number that is tied to the telephone number of our credit card holder. something that should of taken literally less than 5 minutes took forever. also need to update computer inventory literally drove to this store only because the computer showed they had enough. shows they have 28 of the item that we needed 9 of get there and they couldn't find but 4 of them. I can understand off by a few but off by 24?

This review isn't really about Home Depot but the contractors that do their installations. I bought an appliance and paid to have it delivered and installed. Try 1 it was delivered but the people who delivered were not the installers. I called the Home Depot number they rescheduled the installation. Try 2 was called the day before with my four hour window no one showed no one called. I called the Home Depot number they tried the contractors - they had left for the weekend. Scheduled it for a third try. They final arrived - with a second appliance. I got it installed but other than wear a mask they didn't do any of the COVID mitigation strategies that are shown in the video on the web page. When I called customer "care" to discuss all of the problems the person was patronizing and dismissive then hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

This review is mainly for Alyssa. She was working the customer service and returns desk back in mid June. I had called inquiring about a tabletop fire pit and they only had two in stock. We asked to place one aside since we were on the way there. When we arrived it was not set aside. Alyssa called for assistance to locate and pull the product but it took some time for other co workers to assist. So Alyssa took the initiative herself to locate the fire pit back in stock and unfortunately the only two left were the display and the other product , the box was destroyed. Alyssa was kind enough to ask if we wanted her to open the box to ensure that all the items inside were there and undamaged before choosing to purchase it. Fortunately, everything was intact. She handled the open box situation and I am extremely grateful for her exemplary work ethic and proactiveness. She truly showed care and concern and knows how to interact with customers. She is to be commended for her excellent customer service. Oh and the tabletop fire pit is super awesome! I'm really pleased with it!

I went to get wooden crates at the Celebration Station location in Virginia Beach I needed someone to climb the ladder to get them. I went to the customer service counter threes times for help and no one ever came. I walked the entire store and found one young kid who had no clue and was no help. I ended up climbing the ladder and getting my own. I went to customer service to tell them and they weren't even apologetic. Next time I'm going to Lowe's. Disappointed immensely in the customer service here.
