Canceled my appointment. H and R block messed up my parents taxes then repeatedly screamed at my parents over the phone. We even paid for peace of mind, no peace of mind was provided and no compensation offered, nothing but screaming on the phone at us.
They proceeded to get my brother’s taxes wrong as well and had to do an amendment.
They lure you in with false promises and refuse to deliver on any.
I am not going back here.

The breakdown of my taxes was not able to be described to me, and there was nothing in the filing I could not have done myself. My tax professional was friendly and cared, but I was not briefed on the costs of the service ahead of time. The H&R block summary was also incorrect regarding my tax rates, which made it very confusing.
