I walked in for a scheduled appt to have my bloodwork done. The computers for self check in were down so I had to wait at the front counter. I was told by the woman working the front desk that she would be right with me. After standing there for about 10 minutes while she continued to type on the computer, I asked if I could check in for my scheduled appt. She rudely asked as if I were bothering her what time my appt was. It was 2:55 and she said "Well its not quite 3pm yet is it? You can go have a seat." Unprofessional and rude for a someone working with the public. Needless to say I did not keep my appointment. Go elsewhere.

Waited 2 hours in my car after checking in with only 2 other people in the lobby this is my third attempt at getting blood work here nobody is ever at the front desk and staff is very unfriendly and rude

I waited over an hour and a half for a simple urine drug test. If you come to this location, make an appointment or pick another location. I have never had such a long wait for a simple medical test. There was also poor clarity from staff about check-in which had other visitors waiting an hour only to learn they could have been out of there in 15 minutes when picking up a test.

Benjie did my bloodwork today and he was incredible. I’m not a big fan of giving blood, but he made it a painless, quick, and easy experience. Highly recommend this location! 10/10 service!

Lisa and Clay were very quick with getting patients in and were friendly. Lisa drew my blood so gently I could hardly feel a thing and I am so thankful. Will come here again for all Lab testing!

Tisha at the First Colonial Road location is the best!!! My son was very nervous and she made him so comfortable and put him at ease! Tisha is a glowing example of patience and kindness❤️

Thisnlocation sucks! As if the hot outdated waiting and incompetent staff wasnt enough….I’ve been sitting waiting for an appointment for almost an hour. Apparently, they checked me in as a walk-in and not my appointment. On top of that, they scheduled my appointment for after the cut off for the timeframe for whatever bloodwork I need done and ended up sending me home. Unorganized absolutely ridiculous. Fasted and missed work for absolutely nothing

Staff is extremely unprofessional, discussing a patient negatively loud enough that the waiting area could hear. While speaking with me one of the staff member but her head down on the front desk and the other provided false information. I suggest visiting a different LabCorp location.

The front desk staff Lisa (Alisa?) was extremely rude and unprofessional for simple and polite questions during check-in and drug screening.

I dropped off paperwork to receive testing and everything was smooth. Staff was professional and the wait was short.Parking is plentiful and nearby the door. No debris in sight.I would return.

The woman at the front desk was highly rude and abrasive and used her hand to shoo me to the side when i asked her a question about what the costs was for self pay and huffed at me saying i dont know. Then she later calls me over to tell me that price but when I decide to use my insurance based on the self pay price she becomes irate at me saying ok well now I have to put everything back in with your insurance. Then she called me by a number, not a name to get my test completed and everyone in the lobby was confused because they didnt know who she was referring to. Then she yelled out the window at me hostilely are you going to get the test or not because we have nothing to do with whether your insurance will pay or not. Then I sat down feeling assaulted already to get my arm stabbed by a lab technician, who says very quietly how is your day? I couldnt say anything because I was so bewildered by this awful experience so far and for fear of being injured, but then the tech eases my anxiety mildly by saying "It's just going, huh" referring to my day. I told her I liked her sayings on the wall about being positive, kind and humble, none of which were happening towards me the customer. How ironic, lol. I guess that was a needed reminder for them that they needed posted since clearly they werent living by it. Just more ugliness to make the world go round. Thanks Lab Corp for being so ugly!!!

This location tried to tell me my doctor did the order wrong on the papers. I'd assume they just didn't want to take anyone in because they were closing because when I went to the independence location, they took me in just fine and I got all my tests needed done.

I went here to have my blood drawn to test my hormones and I just had the best experience. I went in super anxious and terrified of needles. I started to cry when it was time for the needle to come out (which never happens but I think lots of caffeine and my hormones put me over the edge lol) Jasmine started distracting me asking what I did today and encouraged me to keep talking to her so that I wouldn’t focus on the needle. This may seem small but most medical professionals look at me like I’m stupid when I tell them I’m afraid of needles. She was so compassionate and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate her empathy. Jasmine is the kind of person who belongs in this field. Thank you Jasmine!
