Make sure to ask the total price first. I received a blow out, black rinse, and a trim and was charged $140.00. My hair goes to my shoulder. The sign for blow out says 45 and up, hair cut 10.00 and up, rinse 25 and up. I had no idea the up would be so high. When I complained about the price I was told the Demi rinse was 85.00. I have never paid more than 100.00 for the service I received. I only went there because my usual salon was booked. Also, the shampoo employee pulled my hair so much while combing it during the wash I thought she was pulling my hair out. They also are not practicing social distancing. The chair for the hair dryers are right next to each other. I could literally touch the other customers arm. The chairs for hair dye are also close. When I went to the register to check out the shampoo employee asked was I paying cash or card. I said card she said it was a 1.50 fee. I said ok but what is my total. If I wouldn't have asked she just would have charged me. They wouldn't even give me a detailed amount of what each service price was. I only was able to find out the rinse was 85.00 because they called the owner and she told me. I believe they charged me such a high price because of the texture of my hair. I would recommend going to a salon that has set prices and does not discriminate based on your hair texture. Reply to owner The information I provided is not false. I sat next to another client while at the hair dryer. I also sat next to one while getting my hair dyed. The hair dye chairs aren't as close as the dryer chairs but they are definitely not 3 or 6 feet apart. You will see that on the camera. I did not say we touched elbows. It was an example to show how close the chairs are. I can mention what ever I want. You do not need to question why I mention anything. I only provided the truth. If you do not offer rinse it should be removed from the sign because that is what I asked for. I was not told I was receiving anything different until afterwards. And based on your picture your texture and the stylist texture is not the same as mine. Also why didn't you address the pulling of my hair? No need for you to comment on my post because what I said is the truth. I have no reason to lie.

Excellent service that never disappoints! I came across this place in yelp after the place I used to go to closed. Ninsi, the owner is extremely friendly, she gives good advice and knows her job. My daughter had her haired color teal two summers ago and I love it! I have recommended her Salon to several of my coworkers because she does a really good job. The best part is that she is good with any type of hair texture. I would give them more than 5 starts if I could.

Professional, clean, trendy atmosphere with friendly and experienced beauticians. Came to this salon while visiting a friend and the Yelp reviews did not disappoint! The service was fast and courteous, they listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered it expertly. The owner is very much in charge and ensures that the salon runs smoothly and well. As I do not speak Spanish, she made certain that the one taking care of me knew what I wanted before she began. She also communicate with me so that I wasn't sitting at a station for too long not knowing what would happenI received a Wash and set, deep condition, cut and flat iron. All done with thoughtfulness and care. I am glad to have a place to come to each time I visit!

I was in dire need for some TLC for my dry/damaged locks, so I made an appointment for a Keratin Treatment with Ninsi. Being not from the area (or never had this treatment before) I did extensive research making sure this was the best thing for my hair and to go to someone who was knowledgeable and caring. Unfortunately, the lady who did my hair didn't speak English so there was little to no communication about what was going on with my hair: the fumes made my eyes water uncontrollably, and burned my throat/nose if I breathed it in, the steaming hair dryer was so hot that I teared up every time it touched my scalp, also I said to cut about 1/2 inch off but ended up losing about 3-4" (plus she wanted to give me bangs that I DIDNT ask for). My hair turned out good, which is why I gave the stars that I did, but overall experience was unpleasant and will not be returning. I may be weak, but the burning of my eyes/throat/nose/scalp was too much for me.

Service is amazing. My only complaint is the lack of communication about how much you will "actually spend" I do feel that this should be communicated to you throughout the service. I was under the impression that Blow outs start at $45.00, conditioner was $15, not sure how much the trim was. However, I was told that my conditioner was complimentary due to it being my first time. With that in mind still ended up spending $70.00. I have no problem paying for great service and hairstylist who are knowledgeable, it just needs to be communicated. I will come back, I just have to plan to spend a pretty penny. Stylist-Elizabeth, she did a wonderful job.

I have been coming to Ninsi for about 4 years! I love coming here. I always get color and she never disappoints, she knows what she's doing. I travel about 30-40 min to get here but I won't go anywhere else. All the stylists and friendly and talented. They explain the process to anyone w questions and are up to date on all the styles and colors. Look no further Ninsi's is where you want to get your hair done.

Don't be fooled by the photos. Elizabeth @ Ninsi's cut my hair and whacked it off with no recognizable style. There were layers of uneven hairs cut all over my head. It took almost a year for my hair to grow enough to correct the disaster she created. I should have made her stop when I realized she couldn't speak English. This salon was was so dusty that when she handed me a mirror to view what she had done, I couldn't see the mess she created. All of the mirrors were dirty. Also, be aware of the products she tries to sell you. Ninsi's was more interested in selling me her hair products than the butcher job done to my hair. I would give this salon a zero if one was available.

Ninsi SAVED MY HAIR!!!! I went from danger dry brittle hair with little to no texture at all, to a head full of life and curls and volume! I have been coming here for a while now switching from my old Beautician who completely damaged my hair with heat, and it is the BEST DECISION I have ever made. They make you feel like a priority and the staff is all extremely friendly! I usually get my hair done by Ninsi herself, however I've seen the work that the rest of the staff has done while being there and they are all very knowledgeable and talented. Please look at the photos, I believe they truly speak for themselves! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hair salon!

New to the area and needed my hair dyed and cut.. This was the 1st option that appeared on Yelp so I gave them a call.. Ninsi answered and was very professional. I inquired about walk-in appointments and she said they do accept walk-ins.. I normally don't go to the salon on a Saturday because they are always busy.. I walked in and was greeted by one of the employees.. Ninsi then came over and asked how she could help me. I told her what I wanted and she explained that it would be a few. She then came back and told me about 20 minutes which was fine with me.. The place was very clean and decorated beautifully. Although it was busy she greeted everyone and explained how it would go. She also was advising her employees which customer was next, what they wanted and how they should handle it. Very impressed and will definitely be returning. Elizabeth dyes and cut my hair and I'm extremely satisfied. If you're looking for a place that does good work, clean and fair prices this is the place...

I recently moved to Virginia about a year ago,and it was very hard to find a good salon that can manage thick, curly hair and get it bone straight. I absolutely love her and the women who work there as well! Very polite and awesome deals!! Love my results!! I recommend this salon!!

This is my ride or die salon! I've been looking for a salon for months! All the ladies that work here are amazing, very knowledgeable, and take the time to explain the different treatments and why they're necessary. Ninsi dyes my hair and she did an amazing job!
