Check quality of the jackets. Super disappointed! Rented tux for wedding I was in and as soon as I put the jacket on the button broke. Being out of town for the wedding I had to stand awkwardly for pictures the entire night. No discount, just a "sorry that happened have a great day." If I could put negative stars I would. The lady with the short wavy hair is the rudest person I think I have ever came across in a customer service atmosphere. The moment I walked in she was arguing with an older gentleman over a shirt discounted to $37 but her saying the tag was out on it in error. I should have known from that moment on, it was going to be difficult dealing with her. I waited my turn then explained to her that I needed to return my sons suit (keep in mind this was only 4 days later) she took everything out the bag and said well I can’t return this it’s worn. I said no ma’am it is not, he the undershirt he bought was worn but the pants, jacket and tie were not worn and explained to her that I actually had to buy a different suit because whoever measured my son did it incorrectly and the jacket was to tight on his arms and the pants were to long. Her response was “Well we do alterations” I explained that we did not have time for alterations but had someone offered that when it was first bought then we would have had the time. I even showed her a picture of the new suit I had to buy from Dillard’s. She then looked at my son standing next to me as if she was trying to see if that was really him or not. She then said well that’s not our policy. I grabbed the receipt off the counter because at this point I was frustrated and read her exchange/refund policy to her and then she said well then it’s going to be at a discounted rate. The entire time her attitude was nasty. I said to her “do you even want to be at work today or maybe you should go on break because I have not been rude to you but you have been nasty since I walked in and you were dealing with the other gentleman” She explained that the other situation was non of business. At that time a younger manager walked over trying to de escalate the situation and she rolled her eyes and made this sigh sound like she couldn’t believe he was trying to intervene. Once he came over the situation was fine and he was polite and started helping. She stood behind him just shaking her head and I couldn’t help myself but say to her that a front face customer service based atmosphere was probably not for her. She then chuckled and said “yea okay.” All of this could had been avoided if whoever measured him did it correctly or if the young guy would of just helped me in the first place. Her attitude was absolutely uncalled for.

It’s been a couple years since I shopped for nice clothes, and the last time I was here the person was very attentive, helping me pick out shirts, pants, shoes, etc. This time I didn’t think the customer service reps were any help at all and I came away from the store with a negative experience as a direct result of the lack of engagement.

Came here with my roommate to get him sized for a suit. Everything was going well, until the dress shirt. The sales associate helping my roommate said that he can only size him IF he plans on buying the dress shirt. If he doesn't buy it, he can't measure him. Really? I've worked retail at such places like Bloomingdale's and Lord & Taylor. I've shopped at other Men's Warehouse locations in the past. I've never heard of such crap. If you don't buy it, they can't measure you? F outta here. What kinda BS is that?? The rest of the experience was fine.

I bring my 83 yr old dad here and they take good care of him whether he is purchasing shirts and suits or renting a tux. This location has excellent customer service. We walked in 10 minutes before closing for a tuxedo rental and the young lady didn’t blink. She took care of my dad even though she had to stay until 9:30. Thank you!

Went to pick out a suit mens wearhouse expecting the worst today, having resorted to the store as a last minute option. And then we met Mojo. She made the entire experience so much better and thought outside of the box for our options. Color combinations, style, fit, matching footwear and ties, you name it and Mojo delivered. Super friendly and accommodating, I'll definitely be back for future business.

Went in there today for fitting for wedding the lady was unpleasant but proceeded with the fitting she took his measurements and they were off extremely then she told him to try it on shirt was was off jacket was way off but it was a young lady that did the measurements that was your job position but the unfriendly was just rude we came for a wedding tux fitting it was several Caucasian man getting Fitted and the young lady fitted him good I had to ask her to please make sure the tax look good. I don’t wanna dig jacket sleeves too long because that’s what the Caucasian lady was going to but the other lady measured him again I just didn’t expect that out of that shop but the lady didn’t want Waite on us and she was unkind from the beginning we were picking up the tux in another state where the wedding taking place we paid but the service customer service was really poor I would never recommend them in Virginia Beach, Virginia town centre she oh I brought it to her attention me and her as asked if that tux be on point but I wouldn’t recommend them I wish I had that lady’s name I didn’t see it on my recipe that’s they way it was don’t shop there $250 to rent a tux never there again

We went in just before closing on a Saturday night. The staff were really friendly and offered to measure my companions and help them find whatever they needed. I'm afraid they did not have what we were looking for, but the experience was definitely positive.

Shout out to MensWearhouse Virginia Beach, I purchase a pair of slack and Shirt from another MensWearhouse, I had a meeting in DC found out that I could not get it press at no cleaners same day service. Call them up they stated no problem press it like it came from the cleaners had me looking Business Casual at the highest level. Thank you

We did not have a great experience at men’s wearhouse in town center. At first we went in to rent a suit for my husband for our wedding. An associate “lady with the red hair” went to get him fitted and messed up his measurements. He tried on the suit and it was so baggy, I brought up if it was the right size and she said “yes, maybe he shouldn’t skip leg day and he might fit it” which was so rude and surprising! I was very upset at the comment. We decided to buy a suit just so we didn’t have to work with her moving forward. Come to find out she did measure him incorrectly! She ruined our happy experience with picking out a suit with her rude comments about my husbands body. I would not recommend going to the one in town center. Their staff is just horrible to clients.

Heather, the manager, was extremely disrespectful. I called the store looking for help and she answered. She seemed to be having a bad day and took it out on my friend and myself. She was short and rude to my friend and I who are active duty. We tried to explain how we are needing help with my friends wedding and she was not hearing it. I explain how we are still deployed and we just need to make corrections on an order already made and she said "Call another Men's Warehouse," and then hung up. The Men's Warehouse in Chesapeake helped us with our problem and found a better suit. If you are in Virginia Beach area spend the extra gas money to go to the one in Chesapeake. The Virginia Beach location with the manager, Heather, was absolutely disgusting. Shout out to Carrie, the manager at the Chesapeake location. Thank you for your excellent customer service to your deployed soldiers.

Superb, excellent service. Excellent staff. Friendly. Great service. Without a doubt exceptional. Would recommend this specific mens wear house. I can’t speak for other mens wear houses but this One is the only one I can confidently recommend

I visited the store on Sunday (4/23/23) told them when I got there that I wanted the $99 rental for my son’s upcoming Ring Dance. She went through and asked about colors, shoes, cuff links all that and said there would be a $25 rush fee because of the quick turnaround and she went on to measure my son. We went back to be fitted and then when we went up front to pay. It was somehow over $300. When I said something I was told “well maybe you got extras.” I said it would have been nice to have been told that certain pieces would be an additional fee. All that was said was about my frustration was “sorry about that.” Once I got home and received the emailed receipt I noted that she charged me for a jacket that was over $200 and then changed extra for other things. When I called the store the following day, Monday, I was told that the order could not be cancelled and redone or I would not get it in time for his event (4/28/23) that they would give me $100 credit, for the miss communication on their end. I’m still paying more than what I should have payed. Was told that pick up was Wednesday (4/26/23), I get there to pick it up and it’s not there. I was then told that they normally come in on Thursday and asked if I got the email that it was ready. I said I did not know I needed to wait for an email when I was told it would be here on Wednesday. It’s been a nightmare all together and not happy at all

After two visits to the store, and two of the same experiences we had to leave a review. My fiance went to look for a suit and both times the females (3) have always been unattended and nor helpful towards everyone. They do not greet you or ask if you need help. One a gentlemen came in to pick up a suit and Jaylen was helping my fiance and his friends and had to stop what he was doing and ask the girls to help which they all looked at eachother like they didn't know what to do. Only to find out the suit was already at the counter up front. Then Jaylen once again had to ask someone to check the gentlemen out that had been waiting. To extend the horrible service from these ladies, they profile. Mind you they had ignored everyone that has walked in, in normal clothes. As soon as a clean cut, muscular male walks in, the female jumps at the opportunity to introduce herself and help. It's sad the lack of work people want to do but expect a paycheck. If it wasn't for Jaylens outstanding service and help we would not being doing business here. You will be losing a HUGE asset when he heads off to college next year! Highly don’t recommend! Needed to get a rental suit for a wedding. The wearhouse falsely advertises that they support and can provide for BIG and TALL. The big and tall is limited to very little to none. Did measurements for an hour and half for nothing to fit. The vest fit at the fitting but not when picking up the rental. We were told the vest (to match the other men) wasn’t able to come in that size and they didn’t make that size. We found one on the rack. We were told for the rental we have to go with a different style vest, that would not match the other groomsmen. We weren’t originally told this. The manager was very rude and used the excuse they were short staff and staff they did have wasn’t trained properly. Don’t advertise you do big and tall when you most definitely don’t. The pants were hemmed, the hem was visible from across the room on the pants. I understand it’s a rental but for a company that does suits it was a poor job. The manager had an excuse for that as well. The manager had much better excuses than customer service.
