Mount Trashmore Park is a world-renowned 165-acre park featuring two large man-made mountains, two lakes, and multi-use paths. It is a wonderful place for the whole entire family, great for an evening stroll, flying kites, or enjoying a sunset. The park offers approximately 1.5 miles for a full walk, with a decently long main walkway and a fitness path. There are several playgrounds, described as large, varied, safe, and spread out with a soft rubbery surface, and another is being built. Easy access to clean bathrooms is available throughout the park. It is a very open and pet-friendly place, where dogs must be leashed and owners should clean up after them, with provided bags and trash cans. Several picnic areas with tables are available, including a large hillside. Parking is easy. It is a great spot for kids to play and for the whole family to enjoy.

Great neighborhood close to Norfolk and Virginia Beach. It is up-kept, includes a kids park (age range 4 - 11) and a trail for running that incudes work out exercises. Peaceful and beautiful. Relaxation for adults and fun for the children! Great place for runners & fitness people. Volleyball sand & net area along with grills for BBQ and tables to eat on with shelter overhead.
