I have been coming to this hotel for 25+ years and have seen it change hands several times. The prices for mid November have gone up CONSIDERABLY. Not to mention they are now charging a Resort Fee per night. I asked what the fee entailed and was basically told they had another hotel up the strip that charged it so they were too. The only thing that is great about this place is the view. The beds in our room were comfortable and the linens were clean but as you can see by the pictures the room itself is a joke. The little things that were always nice have been taken away (tv channel guide, clock radio, little table outside) I am sorry to say I may be rethinking my next trip down here. If I’m going to pay over $466 for a four day weekend in the middle of November I want to be able to say it was worth the money. And believe me, it’s not ??

Rooms need a little love cracks in walls. The chairs a little worn out. Just a little TLC and it will be ok. Location was awesome. Restaurant at the time was under construction so no breakfast like they advertised.

This is a fair place to stay if you want to save money. It's clean and our room faces the ocean which is exactly what we wanted. The staff is less than friendly however, and sometimes we felt like we were in their way while they did whatever they were doing. Other than that, a good place to stay for an affordable price.

We really enjoyed our stay, once we booked . We arrived , super fast professional check-in.The rooms looked just like pictures .We felt the space was clean. Nice towels & beds comfy. Very friendly staff. Free coffee and juice next to elevator. The hotel was clean. We will always book here when on vocation . Priced reasonable. Thanks again for a great stay.Rooms: Clean, comfy . Outstanding ocean front views. Good location.

Checked into hotel. Was given room key and got to room and room was still dirty. Had to wait 45 mins for it to be cleaned. Then when we got to room the people next door were smoking on balcony. The nice lady asked if it was gonna bother me and I came back inside. The the morning of the last day we were staying we were awaken at 6 AM. To the loudest music you have ever hear. Now just for context the music didn’t end until 1130 the night before. I open the balcony door at 6:45AM and the person next door to us was smoking the biggest joint you have ever seen. Brought the to the front desk and they were like well we can’t do anything about it and we don’t control outside. Now remind you that they hotel is advertised as 100% smoke freeThis place is awful. Do not recommend. Have not had maid service and toilet seat is broken. Will NEVER be back.

The ocean view and balcony was fantastic. The room's temperature is very nicely controlled, however, the rest of the hotel is very hot and muggy, especially the whole way outside of our room. The whole place seemed pretty rundown too. There's paint chipping off the walls and the elevator creaked as it went up and down. The place seemed poorly maintained and very under staffed. Besides that everything else was great!

This is a great hotel with all ocean front rooms. Our room was clean, staff was friendly, and we were steps from the beach. Being able to sit on the balcony and look at the ocean was awesome! We will definitely be back!Nearby activities: So many things to do within walking distance!Walkability: Park your car and you can walk to anything. Shops, restaurants, and the beach right there!

I loved the fact that it was right on the beach and when we reached our room my 4 year old grandbaby said everything was just beautiful. She loves to swim and this was our first vacation with her and she loved it. Thanks Ocean Resort for the great memories!!!????Nearby activities: With the hotel being right on the boardwalk you were right in the middle of everything. Restaurants, stores & fun things to do for kids.Walkability: We were definitely in the middle of everything and we were in a great area to walk and sight see.

Location next to the military display abd Norwegian lady statue. Balcony open to the beach /boardwalk.Nice room - not the fanciest on the beach but quite nice.Check in was a bit slow but courteous. I will likely stay here again.Walkability: Excellent location on boardwalk and beach

The hotel was clean, water was hot, the staff was pleasant, and the room was clean. They don't have breakfast, but that didn't bother me since I don't eat breakfast, I was able to walk to all my destinations would book

It’s okay for the ocean front view but it’s a little lacking In Amenities . I’m spoiled! One thing; I love the solid marble tile lining the bathroom wall on the tub surround near and a real not plastic tub long and deep enough to sink in.

Got here and checked in only to find out they’re parking lot is full, so had to park across street behind a building for their overflow parking. Only one elevator worked during the first 2 nights we stayed, luckily we were on 2nd floor and used the staircase most of the time coming out of the building. The elevator needs some updating and cleaning the buttons would help. The room was clean except it smelled like a bag of weed were left somewhere, good thing I brought my air purifier, Febreeze and Lysol spray like I always do which worked. The AC worked fine but may need to be cleaned. The room and bathroom were clean. TV was outdated and very pixelated. Phone worked and needs to be updated also. They were doing some renovating on the exterior and hoping they do the rooms next as this place has a potential once updated. The queen size bed was a plus and was very comfortable as most hotel only offer full size bed. The pillows could be better as some were plastic covered and some weren’t. The bathroom had plenty of towels/washcloths and there were soap/shampoo dispenser on shower wall which we didn’t use as we always bring our own. For the price, it was excellent as it was nothing but oceanfront view balcony and few steps from shops, bars and restaurants. There was a rental bike/roller blade shop on the corner of the hotel building which we definitely took part of - enjoyed riding the bikes on the bike lane (did 4 miles). The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall for the price I paid, this place was great!Hotel need to put a card scanner on exterior staircase door for ppl who prefer taking stairs or if there’s a long elevator wait. And my son ended up finding a small bag of weed under one of the plastic covered cups, hence the smell. What did I do with it? I said deuces and we flushed it down the toilet.Nearby activities: Shops, local artists concerts, bike/roller blade rentalWalkability: Beach, shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurant are just steps away.

It is easy to get there once you get past the bridge work. Staff signed me right in. The room was clean and tidy. Had the usual amenities that one expects. 2nd floor, ocean view. No continental breakfast. Just juice and coffee. Also indoor, heated pool. $ 105 with fees and tax.

Nice areaNo wash cloths. Stated they couldn't find any available to buy.Under the bed was an empty tea bottle. This hotel should not have the name "resort". I don't know how to put into words how awful it is so I'll just make a list.Rooms are dirty.Everything is old and outdated.Bathrooms vent into the hallway. Eww.Sprinkler system is visible on the ceiling.All outlets are loose and spark.They only came to clean once out of 3 days.Hallway is freezing. No heat or ac.Elevators are awful and slow.They said they had a pool but it was under construction.We had to walk 5 blocks to the pool.Parking lot isn't big enough.They let guests do whatever they want, and let them vandalize our property.They charged our families different rates for the same room and the same day.We blocked a whole floor and they made us split up and had others on our floor not in our group.It does however have a good view of the ocean! That's about it.Spend the extra money and stay somewhere worth it. I felt like I needed to wash everything I took to the hotel with me when I got home.
