At home visting but we will be moving here temp for a year and I was excited to see the OTF here.I was assigned to station 1 with no one inbetween. I guess someone was there to do an evaluation and when we went on the floor, my bench was against the wall sideways not under my number with 2- 35lb weights on top of it and #2s bench was under mine. The evaluation woman sat on bench 3 turning it completely sideways…taking up room and just sitting with a clipboard. I often ask myself are people just that unaware how rude they’re being? While the girl on 3 took up not only my area but the rest of the area. Her bench was under my number. I asked if it was my bench bc why would her bench be under my number? She said it was hers and didn’t move it whatsoever which essentially cornered me into a small space. It’s not my job to tell entitled ppl to be aware of their surroundings and it also puts us in an uncomfortable position to have any confrontations coming into a new space. They obviously knew I was coming bc my paperwork was ready. The instructor saw the space was not in the right position and should’ve had this fixed. At one point, I slammed/moved my bench to let her know she was the epitome of entitlement and she “moved her bench over just enough where it was now inbetween 1/2. My kid had been here and also had issues with invasion of spaces. Not pulling the race card but when ur ot white and my kid is 75% black and im half, being put in a position to have to ask someone in a 98% white studio to move over is already uncomfortable for us. The fact OTF makes it like that on purpose should be more of a reason to be attentive to it.At my home gyms, when someone comes from another studio, they always welcome them to other members (not that I need that) and my coaches have always made sure to make sure they were comfortable and the space was apparent for them. Also, the tread machines need a serious upgrade.Going to check out the other OTFs to see which one I will transfer to. As a mixed woman, it brought me back to the good ol’ Cox/FC attitudes. Should’ve known.

Only giving it 3 starts because the instructors themselves are nice and the classes are good but the customer service sucks!!! Every time we had a question/concern that needed to get addressed it was like we were bothering the front desk and they always had a nonchalant attitude about it. Honestly very disappointed with that because it made both my parents and I cancel our memberships, having a good class doesn’t beat not having good customer service. Hope they fix that in the future as I’ve heard of other people canceling for the same thing.

Best workout ever! I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes--between cutting sugar and OTF, I lost 40 lbs and kept it off. I love that the workouts vary, and the wonderfully contagious energy from the coaches. Music is great too! I have been going to OTF for 4 years and have been to ~10 studios across multiple states. Hilltop is the best - cleanest, motivational coaches, friendly staff and largest space. Thank you, OTF!

Workouts were okay. Classes filled up extremely quickly and weekends never had availability. Also, if you want to cancel you have to cancel an entire 30 days before your next bill date or they will charge you for the next cycle. I canceled 2 weeks prior and they said there was nothing they could do.

Lack of warm-up, movement education, and body prep. It’s an injury prone environment. Everyone is super nice although they do not keep their word on new membership guest passes and the 8 hour cancellation policy is not forgiving to those with jobs/children.

I love this workout. I never thought I'd be a boutique gym kind of person, but this has very quickly become one of my favorite places to go during the week. The staff here are very friendly and the coaches I've worked out with have been great about helping me correct my form when I need it. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're at all curious!

I like that I am getting a lot of different exercises based on whole-body workouts. I love how supportive the coaches are and how positive of an atmosphere it is.

Orange Theory is how I like to start my day. I go week days at 0500. I am stronger and I run now. I tell everyone that they should join Orangetheory!

I started Orange Theory, a while back. I moved to Virginia Beach this last year from the mountains in Colorado. Coming from such an active place i was always able to go hiking, skiing, running, but here in Virginia beach the community is a little different unless you run on the ocean front. I am not entirely for going to a classic gym because you move at your own pace, and for myself its hard to feel to push harder than I do, but orange theory is different . I found Orange Theory online trying to get my self motivated to work out again, and on their website they'll let you do a free class to test it out. I did that first class and I died the next day. After that they followed up with me pretty consistantly and now ive been going for quite a few classes. I am on the plan which i think evens out to 2 classes per week and it is perfect for me and my schedule. I work 8-5 everyday and what's nice about them, they have classes either super early or later in the evening which is ideal for me. Things to note, 1. This is a group class 2. The gym is clean 3. The give you a wrist band the first time that tracks everything, but you can either rent or buy one but its not in my range to find it necessary due to i have an apple watch (Which i bought to track what my stats are.) I Wish there mobile app would connect to my apple watch so i can see my data in their format. The trainers are really nice and the people who go to these classes are really nice aswell. But other than that, i would recommend.

Above all, the variation of workouts from day to day, i.e. muscle confusion, which is leading to a great workout and even greater overall fitness. All of the workouts, 2G and 3G, are working for my improvement in my fitness level. I am very pleased with my progress. I also like that the coaches are attentive to our workout motions and are quick to help us correct that motion to achieve the most out of each workout. The lobby staff is professional, friendly and are quick to respond to any inquiry either in person, by phone or by email. I like that the results of each workout is posted to my account and sent to me via email. The facility is always clean and all equipment functions perfect each time.
