Update.... As usual super happy with how they leave Oreo looking!!!! He was so excited to go in and even happier when we pick him up. This is the only place we will take him!!
I love Preppie Pooch. My Oreo is so excited with people and a wiggler and I appreciate and love the fact that they are able to calm him to still work their magic! Other places won't take the time with him. Staff is sweet and amazing! Also just want to throw in here that complaining about them not answering the phones is beyond me! They do respond to messages and they don't answer when they are busy taking care of our fur babies! Be patient! It's worth it!

Remi loved it there and was excited the when I saw him unlike other places where he came out seeming scared or nervous. He loved the staff and he even got to play with other dogs. When I got him home he got in his bed in the living room and went straight to snoring from having so much fun. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10

I used to take my dog to petsuites VB but they required too many vaccines so I went to preppie pooch solely based on their amazing reviews. Shortly after his first grooming he got a really bad eye infection, so bad they thought he had acute glaucoma. This resulted in over 800 dollars in vet bills but didn't think it was related to the grooming at all.
However, after his second grooming, my husband was worried because my dog had a film over his eye. I irrigated it and there was hair/leftover product in it which made me suspect that could have caused the infection last time. On top of that my dog has been shaking and so uncomfortable biting at his butt after his most recent grooming a couple days ago. I took a look and he has a lump that looks like a hemmoroid. He was fine before he was groomed, no one mentioned anything to me, and I can only assume this is due to the draining of his anal glands and them not being done at all or done incorrectly. Now I have to shell out more money at the vet.
I will say, his haircut is wonderful, but his health and wellness is far more important to me. Something isn’t right about this place, as these things happening right after grooming aren’t coincidental. If you care about your dog, maybe look else where.
