Made an appointment to have a flu test done. Showed up for the appointment and told the receptionist, who after 10 minutes said they don’t do flu tests there! I said I had just made the appointment that day and she responded that “oh yeah the system allows you to make appointments, but they can’t actually do it”. She did recommend a second rite aid to do it. Went to that second rite aid (after making an appointment) and sure enough they too don’t have the equipment to do testing.

Service has become wildly inconsistent and seemingly rather unprofessional and unpleasant. Medication can take days to fill and then they will spam your phone with reminders to let you know they finally did their job

Had a horrible experience at a Walgreens, despite having made the appointment to get our Covid shots the day before. Canceled our appointments after waiting for 45 minutes there, and made new appointments at the Rite Aide on Shore drive for the next day. Arrived for our 11am appointment, were treated courteously, received the shots and were out again in 15 minutes! Highly recommend you go here instead for Covid, Flu and other shots. Excellent customer service!

RITE AID is a favorite of mine for many needs and handy items. Of course, I love the pharmacy. And the overall store with the wide variety of household, general care, health and beauty items. The staff is reliable and friendly. As long as associates show empathy and respect to their customers, anything is possible. Caring and respect are very important and RITE AID knows it.
