This is my number one for nice name brand clothing. They always have great stuff, easy to shop threw and I can normally walk out with spending under twenty bucks that would be atheist 150.00 at any given walmart.

I decided to try to go here again and I updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars. This place is massive. Not alot of offerings for children as there's no toys here but they do have alot of clothes. I'd say about 70% of the store is clothes and the rest is furniture and trinkets. The prices are good, much more fair than Goodwill. Most of the clothes and furniture is in good to excellent shape. Found a couple dresses at 5.99 each. They do have a sales tag system where there's different discount based on the color of the tags. Will come back again.
OLD REVIEW:
Don't have your 'OPEN' sign on if you are not actually open. Got my baby in their stroller while it was raining just to not even get in the store around 8:30am. Store opens at 10. Store employees just looking at me with zombie blank faces.
Turn off your sign if you are not open. We cannot know or see the store hours while driving on the street or passing by unless we get on the phone to look up the hours beforehand.
Very annoying and disappointed.

This is my to-go spot but my experience paired with my mom’s makes me very wary of this place. For one, they claim that they are God-fearing and always put on gospel music, which I thoroughly enjoy. BUT tell me why they directly take the money from your pocket hoping that you wouldn’t realize? My mom went to SA and always counts how much everything is before she heads to the register. Her total was MORE than 10 dollars what she had counted beforehand. When my mom called out the woman that was checking her out, some staff members looked at each other like they got caught and others were exasperated at the woman who checked out my mom AS IF she has done this multiple times before. If this place is god/fearing like they claim they would NOT be doing this. I don’t care if SA comes and apologizes for this, don’t even try to reply to me. This business is shady and will steal from ur pocket. The same thing happened to me today and I thought that it had changed in the time that passed but it has unfortunately not and I’m not surprised. Be wary of how much your bill is going to be because these people are greedy. Only a few of these staff members are worth coming for, especially the younger staff members.

This store is FANTASTIC!!! They are constantly adding new items and the deals are unreal! I was able to get a set of bookshelves for only $40 and even found a giant teddy bear from Hallmark for only $6 that we officially named Leonard. My favorite find? The pet beds. Incredible deal, especially for any nearby animal shelters!!! Also, Armando is definitely someone to turn to if you need a helping hand! He really stands out there and goes above and beyond to care about everyone in the store. Thank you all so very much, ESPECIALLY Armando!!! We will absolutely be back!!! Stay safe y'all and have a beautiful rest of the year!!!

I was lied to and was told they now put the jewelry bags up for auction on the last Sunday of every month but came in and spoke to a manager and she told me no they have auctions every Tuesday and Friday at 9am lol I honestly feel like now there is some funny business going on at this place I won’t be back

I have pooped in and out of this store for YEARS… I went in recently picked up two pairs of USED DONANATED coach shoes both marked at $10.. as I give them to the cashier, she goes and gets her colleague, both middle-aged women not white not sure they’re ethnicity. They start talking rudely in front of me about how this is priced incorrectly and how these shoes are worth so much more mind you I just picked up two other pairs of coat shoes across the street at the other thrift store for six dollars each. They start telling me that these are priced wrong and how lucky I am to get them and how lucky I am that they’ll even sell them to me. I pulled up my eBay and the last pair that re-sold for $15 how much do you really think used donated things are worth it’s disgusting to me to be treated that way in front of staff. I was embarrassed, mortified and I will never come back

HORRIBLE STAFF! I purchased a mattress & box spring set, a SOLD sticker was placed on it and I was told I could pick it up the next day, I returned less than 24 hrs later with a Uhaul I had to purchase & the Manager told me he couldn’t find my purchase & it had been sold, he was no help at all now I am out of a mattress & box spring & out of my money spent on the Uhaul. Does anyone know a corporate number that can be called. The mattress & box spring was $487! I have nothing. Also I was told I was being sold a King Size Mattress and King Size Box Spring he told me they could give me TWO TWIN BOX SPRINGS instead. ABSOLUTELY NOT because thats not what I paid for!

Highly disappointed with what has become of the media room. I came in back in November only to discover that most of the books and DVDs had been removed and replaced with a bunch of cheaply made, new products, and have not been back since.
I don't know if perhaps this store got a huge donation from some store that was going out of business and needed to quickly make room, or what, but I hope to see the books and movies return in the future. This used to be my favorite thrift store for that sort of thing, just because of the huge selection.

I have come here for years and loved it. It was the only Thrift Store in Virginia Beach I’d want to go to. I went in yesterday and was devastated to find that the books and movie room had been gutted and replaced with a bunch of cheap products that probably came from Amazon or something. There is practically one shelf section left for books and one left for DVDs on the ends. They still have good prices for clothes, but I will start looking to shop at other stores.
I don’t typically post reviews, but I want people to see what has happened to the media room.

I brought some chairs that required a pick up the next day. The website says they open at 9 but on the door says 10. Please change your website I waited a half an hour if it's updated misshaps like this won't happen again.

So I was donating a bunch of items today and had them scheduled for pickup because it included a full size wooden platform bed with bookshelf and attached drawers that go under it which is too big for me to transport. Reminder, this was a FREE DONATION. I cleaned it and took it apart and carried it all to the driveway for easy loading and kept all the screws in place to not get lost and they show up and refuse to take it because it was taken apart.. They stated they do not assemble anything even though I was very clear on what they were coming to get. I even told them when they called on the way it was apart and ready in the driveway and they said ok. I asked them how they would have gotten it out the house or on the truck without doing taking it apart and apparently I was expected to reassemble it again outside before they took it. Forget the fact it couldn't go on a truck assembled. They did take my perfect condition 32in smart TV and wood/cast iron coffee table though. Funny how they picked through and took easy carry money items. Why even show up with a truck? Or at all for that matter? Never again.

This store has drastically changed in many ways and I would like to know why. If donations are down maybe that explains used clothing in some cases costing almost as much as new. Wednesdays use to be 50% off.. they drastically changed to 25% discount. There was no real notification other than the cashiers informing that I remember. Discounts during the week no longer exist. I can only think the overhead to operate to profit has changed. The cashiers there need customer service training. I will sometimes make this a last stop if at all when I’m thrifting. The prices are terrible!
