This is my favorite place to stay in Virginia Beach. Affordable, clean, awesome view of the ocean and a really nice indoor pool. I like how they've updated the rooms with new floors and bedding. The showers have good water pressure and there's plenty of towels. Front desk is always courteous and professional. Housekeeping is on point!

Rooms: The whole hotel smells like either meth or crack, I can't tell which one it is, but it's enough to have an allergic reaction to it. We only stayed one night due to constant sneezing and nose running. I thought we were getting allergies, but nope. Any time we left the hotel, everything cleared up. The second we walked into the building, full-blown allergies.
We tried staying on the patio for most of our stay. The view was beautiful. Not beautiful enough to want to stay there again, though.

Older motel but my room was kept clean. Parking was tight for your car. View from balcony was wonderful. Office is separate from motel but my maid on 4 floor named Joyce…..I think did a wonderful job and I didn’t have go to desk to ask for anything. I never figured out where to caught the shuttle which was my fault so I walked more than I liked too A very good vacation so I have no complaints about this beach motel.Would definitely book again for a girls retreat.office workers wasn’t as friendly as the rest of the staff.

Small parking lot but there is additional parking across the street. Older motel but maintained well. All of the employees were super friendly. Easy check in. Right on the beach, great view from the second floor. I would stay there again.

Yes is a older motel. Was clean , great location , staff friendly , reasonable price. Have made updates. Plenty of hot water for shower. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights in the first of August for a family vacation. Overall, I'm going to give a 4.5 rating, even though google won't let me do half stars.
Overview: We arrived late on a Friday and the front desk looks to do everything very old school. Paper cards, paper registry, etc. Nothing wrong with that because everything was accounted for and logged. Throughout the stay, we spent most of the time at the beach and on the boardwalk, but the staff was all VERY friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a little old school and the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but nothing is like sleeping in your own bed. Honestly, if you're coming to Virginia Beach and you're spending more time in your room than outside, either it's bad weather or you're doing it wrong.
Pros:
- Very close to the beach. All the rooms have balconies that overlook the ocean, which is amazing.
- A little fridge by the elevator with free water. What a life saver! Where everywhere else is charging $5 for a bottle of water, a little generosity like this goes a very long way!
- The staff was super helpful. at one point, our kids jumped into the beds with sand still all over them and we were able to get the staff to do a refresh on the sheets.
- There's a little side door that leads out to the alleyway and even closer to the beach.
The building is attached to a coffee shop called VLOVE. It's a little expensive (what isn't...), but it was nice to have a short walk for coffee.
Neutral:
- We didn't use the pool or hot tub, so I can't comment on that.
- Rooms were very basic. A small tv, two queens and some random furniture for your use. Again, if you are coming to stay in your room the entire time, you're coming for all the wrong reasons.
Cons:
- Context: My family doesn't use harsh chemicals to clean. The cleaning solution that the staff used was very strong and a little overwhelming on the first day.
- Beds were a little uncomfortable, so sleeping was rough for my wife.
Overall, I'd happily return to the Seahawk. In a world ran by big national chains, such as their neighbors on the right and left, it's amazing to see a little hotel doing so well and holding their own. Having it family ran is also a nice perk. I'd absolutely suggest this place to anyone looking for a hotel on the beach.

The location was amazing, the pool was amazing, and the staff were amazing! House keeping did an excellent job and even arranged my son's stuffed animals in a different way every day which he LOVED!

Everything is good location is direcly on the beach room is clean but, the internet is real trash to play some brawl stars like im talking that i lost 100 trophies then quit, if not little rare crab in the sand ?

Wonderful! After a bad experience the previous year elsewhere, we were pleasantly surprised that this little place was perfect for what we needed. Older place but very, very clean with housekeeping everyday of our vacation. Oceanfront and easily accessible to beach. Would recommend.

This motel is well maintained by the owners. The complimentary water is definitely appreciated. The pool is well maintained as well as the jacuzzi. We enjoyed the location and that there is a nice coffee shop and other things we like to go to so close by. It’s quaint and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The elevator is extremely slow so we usually opted for the stairs. ?
