I have to say. I went Sunday it was very hot inside. Matt was super cool. No pun intended. My daughter and I were doing our best to keep up right. As we were leaving 15 pounds lighter combined. Matt actually bought us waters out of his own pocket. Hands down. The chillest ”haha”! Experience

Although we didn’t skate, I heard that they had a fun indoor play area for little kids, so I took my 3 year old toddlers here to escape the extreme heat and run off some energy. It was really nice, my girls had a blast playing. It felt safe & clean, the employees were very nice, and the smoothie we got from one of the snack bars was delicious! We will definitely be back!

The staff was great! The experience was not as great because it was too warm in the building. Many people were complaining. Some people did not skate, or did not skate long due to this. The owners really need to consider investing in a new cooling system.

Smurf really made our trip! She took time with each kid to refresh their skating skills to make sure everyone had a good time. My two year old doesn’t skate yet, and really enjoyed the jungle gym area. This is a great place to bring the squad whether it’s for family fun or a really cute date. The decor is fresh and exciting and definitely a cut above any other skating rink I’ve been to. I noticed lots of fun, quirky elements were included to represent the seven cities! Love that!!!

Skating rink is too tiny. Floor feels fabricated. $12.00 with skates is high although they had a Good DJ, good eateries, even beer and wine available. Lockers are inoperable. If you're a serious skater. You may be disappointed about the size of the rink.

Horrible experience Had my daughters 8th bday party here and the customer was horrible! From start to finish just poor service all around! It's a shame because the facility is nice(beside the filthy door that needs cleaning when you enter) but the employees at the front counter are just bad. When I booked the party they didn't specify the specifics of entering your room a couple minutes early for set up! In addition I had to go hunt down more napkins and utensils they claimed to provide Worse of all they didn't check on us at all and at the end of the party came in telling us infront of our kids that the party was over! Just poor service all around. On a side note... the food vendor who makes the ice cream and tea were very pleasant and helpful! They gave us napkins when the front desk held out and let us use their knife! The birthday parties are not cheap- a customer deserves to get what they pay for! We had people in attendance that are business owners and couldn't believe the service! This was our first experience at sk8 house and will certainly be the last! We will stick to the old faithful out here in Chesapeake!

I have frequented this establishment on many occasions with my family and was hoping to continue until now. While enjoying the day with my daughter, wife and one of her friends i was asked to leave the establishment. Apparently my legally possessed, highly trained in use, concealed firearm (must have printed or become visible while assisting my daughter) upset a customer and for "the safety" of their clientele I would need to remove said firearm from the building. I graciously declined to take said tool to my vehicle and I drove home to secure it and return. The ONLY reason I entertained this nonsense was to not interrupt my child's enjoyment. Needless to say we will not return, and for those who take the safety and security of yourself and family, i'd suggest the same. Jot this establishment down as a criminal carry only business. Remember folks, criminals don't care about your rules nor the law.

3/22/2023 - This place is pretty fun for skating or other activities. I have been here twice now. The first time was during the weekend which was a bit busier but not too crazy. They have arcade games, mini stores/food, skating, and there is an escape room. When I first went, they only had the concrete floor. The second time I went they installed wooden floors which were sooo much better. The skates are in men's sizes. They are super nice about returning them if they don't fit so you can get your right size. The skating prices are decent pricing. When I went the second time it was Monday night (3/20). We went around 7 and all of the shops were already closed. I am not sure what their schedule is but I remember the first time going they closed pretty early too on a weekend. I also think it's odd there is no one attending the skating floor. Some kinds were running back and forth without shoes on on Monday night. It was pretty dead but still concerning. I also remember on the weekend when I went people going in all kinds of directions. I really love the décor of the place as well and the music selection is pretty good. The weekend night I went was 90s music themed. Lastly, there is a small skating section for practice/little ones. They also have support racks for the little ones too. Would definitely recommend stopping by this place!

DO NOT BOOK A PARTY HERE!Very unprofessional and unresponsive. $1100 to book the speakeasy room for 3 hours and included absolutely nothing. They don't let you come in early to set up but an employee made an "exception" this time. The room is for 21and up but an employee stays in the room the entire time to chaperone like you're children. The TV is broken, and you can't play music. A complete waste of money.

Place is decent but they're not very organized. If you ask to schedule lessons, which they advertise, you'll get different answers from different employees. I've had my number taken down by some employees, I've been referred to the website, filled out some application, never hear a word back. It's almost like they don't want the $100/hour sessions to be purchased. Almost like they hate money. Either way it's very disappointing they offer services they cannot deliver on.

Fun to skate, but HORRIBLE to throw a party in their party room. They wouldn't let me in ten minutes early to set up so we stood around with twenty eight year olds until it was exactly noon to go in the room and get settled in. When the food & drinks came out, they didn't provide plates, napkins, silverware, or cups (as they claimed they would) and I had to go find someone to get those while a group of kids simply looked at the pizza. They tried to charge me extra for the plates after I explained there wasn't any in the first place. Noone came around to help us turn the lights off for the room (switch was somewhere else) to blow out the candles. We notified of the stressful customer service with no email response. Never. Again.

Nice upgrade since the last time I went with the family. More video games to play and the skating rink is wood instead of concrete. Was really hoping the food restaurants were open since we were there at 12pm on a Monday. All were closed but plenty of vending machines at the front. It was my 5yr old first time skating and was hoping she could use the pvc training mechanism. Apparently she exceeded the height requirement by a ¼ inch so she just hugged the wall in the small room. I didn't think that was cool.Aside from that, great atmosphere and decent music. I know my kids had fun and that's the important part.

My husband and I arrived around 7pm on a Monday night and it was a chill experience. I recall us paying around $35 for the night, which included admission and skates. The arcade is small but kid friendly. Only one restaurant was open when we got there. I'm not sure why, but we tried the boba spot and it was okay (probably won't get another drink from there). I am not sure how often general skating rinks get newer skates (for rental) but this location's skates were very dirty and smelly. The rink was decent sized and they have lockers as well. This was a okay spot for a family night. However, I don't see myself returning, unless they have a good promotion/discount admission or skates.

I went for my class reunion. The atmosphere was as you expect for a skate rink. Surprisingly even with family's and kids around mid afternoon it wasn't overwhelmingly loud.I didn't look at the arcade type games they had so I can't speak to those. The speak easy private room is really cool and comfortable with a couple couches and a piano. Super bonus you can control the temperature in the room so no over heating with a lot of people in there. They have an average size rink and a smaller rink off to the side. They have those helper frames for kidsThey lose a star because the skates were not good. The adult skates are all in men's sizes, look and feel very worn out and can be tough to loosen the laces (To be fair that may just be a me thing). I'm not sure they were good quality when brand new. I know I can skate well, I could not keep balance well enough to get up to any kind of speed before having throw my arms out to keep from falling. That's even after I adjusted where I put my weight on my feet to try and make up for the fact that the tiniest lean forward had me hitting the stoppers.

Adorable and family friendly! There are little walker things with wheels for those learning to skate, and there is a separate smaller rink for children. Neither of my kiddos were interested in skating (there for a birthday party) and there is a really cool jungle gym inside that's open to all ages.
