I went here 3 or 4 times. Every time I've been the staff have been so knowledgeable and helpful.I worked with Ryan, Justin, and Doug. Ryan took the time to walk me through board options, deal with all my questions and back and forths, and really direct me down the right path. I'm so thrilled with my purchases. He walked me through boards, boots, hlmets, bags, gloves, and everything. Hooked me up with an Arbor Shiloh board which I'm in love with.Doug helped fit my boots and grab everything. Showed me google options and also answered numerous questions.Justin was with me when my new board had a small cosmetic defect. He took the time to offer a return which I declined. I was just so thrilled with how they handled it. They were so professional. Justin answered every question I had about board setup and sat with me for nearly 2 hours. He kept telling me "keep the questions coming, this is a hobby for you and a lifestyle for me."I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for snowsports help and gear in the hampton roads area!

Do not take your business here. My wife took my sons snowboard there to be repaired. We purchased the board there a year ago. The person who looked at the board said that it was not stored properly, but right next to it was my skis and other similar products with no damage. She asked them to repair it and she paid in advance for it to be fixed. My son picked it up and brought it home. The attached pictures are the finished product of the repair. I took it back up there and asked to speak to the service manager . My wife was with me. The manager looked at the board and said, what was I suppose to do, I am not wasting my time on that. I told him that it looked like a 12 year old did the repair and wanted a refund. He did nothing so I took the board home and fixed it myself in about 2 hours. It looks like they scratched the surface and applied an epoxy with a Q tip.

Buyers beware.Terrible customer service and business practices. Bought a pair of pants and specifically made sure to ask the cashier the return policy, she stayed 14 days for fullRefund as she handed me receipt. I didn’t even think to read the receipt as I believed the woman who told me so. I then went out of town for business and did not have the opportunity to return the pants that I no longer wanted, till 10 days later. To my surprise, they were only willing to offer me store credit. They were not willing to work with me at all, which was frustrating as most people who have families and work for a living don’t have time to run back to the store just three days after a purchase. Virgnia beach is also not local to any ski mountains so the 3 day policy is absurd for people who are planning trips months in advanced. Stop being stingy with your outdated merchandise and be better people.To add, nothing in this store is new or worth writing home about. Half the shelves and pegs were empty or with little merchandise and what was there is mainly old styles and outdated merchandise. Basic as basic gets.Save your money and time, order online or go to a real ski shop elsewhere.

Vibes here are so weird. Saw they had a board and some gear I’m interested in listed on their site and so I wanted to stop by to check out the shop to see what was in the shop v online. I could not walk around without multiple employees following me like a hawk. What happened to just checking out a place before dropping a grand on a new board and gear? Also the turtle fur inventory was wack.

Little pricy, limited stock but it's the best we have around for at least 50 miles. There services are where they make up for having limited gear.

Great prices and very helpful. I went in and they were very helpful in helping me decide which option of board was best for me. Their prices were also very comparable to online prices. If you're thinking of snowboarding/skiing i'd recommend going here to get your set up for sure!

I'm wouldn't buy a pair of socks in this rip off place! They broke my skis when I took them in for waxing & then sold me a pair of skis that weren't suited for me. I was also sold my first pair of boots there which were not suited for me at all. Unfortunately, you are pretty much at their discretion as far as what would be best for the customer. If I need any equipment, I buy it out west. If you have to cancel a trip, or Ski world cancels it, they don't refund your cost; they give you a store credit so that you have to purchase an overpriced item from their store.

This shop has been hit and missfor many years and this time was another huge hit!! Don’t order online and wait and pay shipping. For the same or similar prices, you can have your top quality gear immediately and support the VB locals.Staff are very knowledgeable and there’s a nice fireplace ?when it’s cold.
