ASK FOR THE FINAL PRICE BEFORE YOU EVEN STEP FOOT IN A CAR TO TEST DRIVE IT. If you want 4,000$ in upcharges go ahead and budget that in prior to giving them your price range. They put on so many add ons . When you ask them to take the packages off . They "CANT" they post a 16,745$ sign in the window of a van but tried to get me to pay 20,778$ out the door . I'll do the math for you 3,966 in up charges to be exact after all the fees and taxes . But wait!!! You can save 1,000$ if you finance through them . Wow what a steal . I'll attach a picture of their bullshit below .

"Buy a vehicle somewhere else"This review is specifically for the Southern Auto Liquidation Center off of Military Highway, and the salesperson named 'Moose' as well as the follow up from another SA location. (during the end of October and early November 2023)There was a used vehicle (2010 or 2011Kia) my son and I were looking at. Moose came out to introduce himself and we had a brief discussion about the price. He says that all used vehicles have Etching and Lojack added and that those add-ins were NOT negotiable and REQUIRED by the dealership. No thanks; those add-ins added up to almost $1,200 on top of the vehicle price (which is already high because it's still a seller's market). If a dealership does business this way, RUN AWAY!--- Etching ($599): you can find a kit for $20 on Amazon and some police stations may do it for free--- Lojack ($699): if it can be installed, it CAN be uninstalledI then found a 2010 Honda Accord and it happened to be at the SA liquidation center as well (so I wanted to see how they would handle this one). I spoke to a rep on the phone and she sent a sales-sheet to me for review, and it had the following add-ins:1) Etching $499 (as you see from above, Moose said it was $599 for the Kia)2) Lojack $6993) Commodore Pkg $995 (this is a paint and fabric protection, I believe) (and for a 2010 vehicle???)I countered on the Accord (and also asked them to remove the add-in costs), and they agreed to remove them. Surprise, those costs ARE negotiable! But in the end, they were asking too much for the vehicle. So based on this experience, you can see it wasn't just 'Moose'. It's the way Southern Auto Group does business. The way they do business just reinforces the long-held perception that car dealers are not honest and/or fair. It's a WIN-LOSE way of doing business, and the customer will lose every time.Is the inclusion of those add-ins predatory? On some level, I believe it is. If it's presented as 'REQUIRED' by the salesperson, a lot of folks would just accept it. I'm not against profit at all. It's why businesses exist. A 'reasonable' profit is totally acceptable, but Southern Auto Group is unreasonable.Shop somewhere else for a vehicle. There are much better places and better business cultures to work with.

I want to thank Mr Dekwan for his help in locating my car. Idropped my car off to have A recall installed. I arrived at the service department at 1:30pm to pick up my car. The service manger was busy with other customers. He recognized me and pointed to the empty desk for me to get my keys and paperwork. I went outside to get my car.It was not in the service parking lot. I was searching the lots and Mr Dekwan ask me if I needed assistance. He escorted me back to the service department. He located my car brought it to me. I am 81 yrs old and I was grateful for his help.

As the owners of southern Kia Virginia Beach, you own responsibility for how horrible of a service station that location is. I am going on 9 months now waiting for them to fix the blown motor. I will continue to post negative reviews on both pages until I get my car back. For those reading, do not ever take your car to southern Kia in Virginia Beach. They will smooth talk you into thinking they care about you as a customer, but then you’ll find yourself 9 months later wondering when will I ever get my vehicle back. I will provide weekly updates moving forward outlining the horrible service I have received. I look forward to the generic response from the company apologizing for my experience and letting me know that they are letting the manager know. Kia Virginia Beach left the same comment a month ago and I have still to hear from a manager. This only goes to show the only reason they leave such comments is to save face. So please do me the favor and don’t bother telling me you’ve spoken to the manager and just fix my car.

A toxic environment.Horrible place. The whole S A G and every store they have is nothing but trashy liars bullies cheats and thieves.Do not buy anything from these people, even their new cars are loaded with factory defects. They deserve negative stars and are an example of a horrible place to go in general. They are like a black hole, they will hide your own vehicle from you claimimg they are appraising it for hours while trying to get you to sign paperwork the whole time.Stay out of there, they just want to rob everyone everywhere.

I had a great experience buying my Kia soul in this dealership. Chance was a great salesmen, very informative and not pushy. We came back at the last moment right before they closed and they were super patient with us. Everyone including Jim was a great team to work with.

DO NOT !!! But a car from them! They are crooks! They added money on to my purchase of things I never asked for. Never did the cleaning of the vehicle. They told me they did what was asked which was a wheel alignment and nothing never happened. They are terrible people here !

Paid extra ($2K) for "certified vehicle" but service has been lacking. The front end alignment when purchased was off and supposedly fixed. Months later and 2 ruined front tires had Bert's in Virginia Beach fix the issue (at my expense). When into service with an appointment for an oil change and would have to leave it or wait hours (with no estimate). Instead paid $90 dollars for express service at Valvoline which took 20 minutes.
