Just FYI, they ask you to write them a raving review as you purchase a unit to bolster their 5 star rating, but you will get absolutely screwed the longer you stay with them. They raise their prices whenever they feel like it. I have NEVER seen a storage company take advantage of people so much. For a non-climate controlled unit, my rate has gone up 200% in 4 years. Just in the first 2 years it was quite an aggressive increase. They deleted my other review and will not allow me to write another, so I’m writing over my initial review. I am FINALLY leaving them as I’m getting stationed elsewhere, yet they are making me pay for a full month at their once again INCREASED price they just imposed for the month of December, though I will be there less than half the month. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE!!!

I’ve been utilizing this facility for just over a year now and I have had no issues whatsoever. I store all of my books and important personal effects here and have had zero complaints arise in regard to storage, service, or payment issues. I adore the front desk gentleman, he is very kind and accommodating and always goes out of his way to provide incredible customer service. I recently downsized and had no issue transferring units and the gentleman running the front desk was kind enough to help me dispose of an unused carpet that I couldn’t lift and will never need. I highly recommend booking online for the best rate.

The customer service was very professional and courteous. The storage space rented was exactly what I needed . That all of the spaces were cement and metal. To prevent pest and rodents and the pricing was reasonable.

A mind-blowing 5 stars!!! Phew! Thank you Devlin, and Storage Mart!
Folks, don't bother with Public or Extra; those are not good experiences. I originally booked and paid for a storage at Extra Space, and had numerous hiccups -- one big ouch moment too -- and went in and cancelled.
SO GLAD I FOUND STORAGE MART - if I sound ecstatic, it is because I am.
I paid for a drive-up unit online, got a text with my gate code and went to my unit. Tada!!! MAGIC.
There was a little bit of something on the floor and I called the number they provided me with in a text.
To my surprise, they, being Devlin, picked up the phone and came over in a golf cart, to assist. This was a 100% excellent experience. THANK YOU DEVLIN for all you did to spruce up my outdoor unit.
Don't stow your stuff anyplace else -- splurge on a drive-up unit, and you will be glad you did, I 100% recommend Storage Mart at 1889 Virginia Beach Blvd.
