Worst ISP ever. Even "fastest" is worse than dial up. Drops constantly. When you call they gaslight you. Forced to use as the owners of apt complex also own Telcom. Should be illegal

I've had internet via Telcom for over 10 yrs. Pricing is good, but there are frequent outages, ESPECIALLY during the summer months. Currently experiencing our 2nd outage of 2024 and today is ONLY January 7th. Smh. I stopped counting how many times I used to have to reset my wifi router over the course of the day.3/22/24....yet ANOTHER OUTAGE.

The quality of cable service was bad - we experienced long outages with no communication about fix timelines. The quality of customer service was even worse. I'd suggest being cautious about leasing an apartment affiliated with Telecom Systems - in my experience, the apartment is cutting corners and (I suspect) just wants to pocket a portion of the obligatory cable service fee.

Absolutely worst service ever. We're forced to use this company through our apartment complex if we want to use a wired system. I'm learning there are alternatives and will be switching soon. At one point there were outages almost every week or every other week, multiple times a week, and they aren't short outages, but instead last an entire day or days. They did update our routers and for awhile it was better, but I'm noticing a start of outages again, and I'm afraid we are headed back down that road of what we were experiencing again. Absolutely the worst! Probably would have 0 stars if we weren't forced to give at least 1 star to post the review.

Like the majority of the comments, I’m forced to have to deal with this internet company, as well! The ABSOLUTE WORSE!!! Internet went out on the 9th & it is still out (11th) & a tech will not be out until the 16th (between 1p & 6p) & they said they well “see” about giving me a credit for not having service. But if the tech comes out & no one is home, we owe them $40 smh so when YOU Inconvenience us, we aren’t guaranteed compensation.. but if you are inconvenienced, you’re expecting to be compensated?! Although you’re SCHEDULED to come out to the Apt area that day anyway??! & Why are apt complexes forcing these types of services on their residents & not giving us the freedom to use the service provider of OUR choice (considering the amt we pay to them monthly to live there)??? This should be illegal!!!!! I DESPISE Telecom!! & I won’t even begin to talk about all the “service maintenance” interruptions almost every week smh

I was forced to use their service as it is the only internet service provided with my apartment complex. Like everyone else, it is horrible. Outages weekly, no updates, you don't receive the promised speed of internet you pay for, customer service is horrible. Dawn the customer service rep was so rude it really was sickening. I work from home and have missed 3 days of pay due to outage since January and it’s only the 8th day of January. If your complex uses this service PLEASE do not move there.

I've been with this company only due my neighborhood having them. They suck ever week it's an outage!!! Why pay for something that's not going work guaranteed!! Cox is definitely better! I'm sick of them and going through this when I have business to take care of.

The service from Telcom is simply wonderful! The response and quality of providing service is a true 10 on a scale from 1 to 10! The staff is incredible. I spoke with a staff member by the name of Amanda and she was truly AWESOME! She was a star in helping me to understand my options and very articulate in explaining the various packages that they have to choose from! Thank you Amanda! And thank you Telcom for the great service!

Forced to use this service because of the apartment location. Would not recommend using Telcom ever for any reason. Network connection is unstable and while manageable for the average user is not stable for any extended period of time for work or school calls. Their website is almost useless for finding information and even in their billing section they have their "FAQ" section listed as not available poking fun at themselves for not having it by saying "Hey, wise guys - where are the FAQs." Friendly business tip, if you don't have something--don't advertise that it even exists and just direct people to resources you actually have available.(Editing as I cannot reply back to the business owner)The customer service I received was adequate, as was the follow up with no issues. If my review was purely based upon that I would easily offer a 4 or 5 star review. There should be easy access though for your team to view an account and the associated password for a client should they provide necessary security information. My call was a silly one which I ended up resolving shortly thereafter on my own. For someone who may need access to their internet and not be able to find their password waiting for a call back simply to get information that should already be readily accessible I would imagine to be extremely frustrating. My review score was primarily due to the internet service itself as that is the most important part of your business. I experience rather frequent disconnects throughout the week and at times I end up dropping my connection on devices connected through the wifi. The Ethernet is more consistent (as it should be) but still experiences lapses in performance and overall connectivity. For individuals not using Ethernet though their experience could be far worse. I still plan on using the service for the foreseeable future and I'll adjust my review accordingly but unfortunately this is my current score given two years of continuous service.I hope the business uses this feedback to improve their performance and provide more options online for their users to solve problems on their own.

If I could give 0 stars I would this is the worst internet provider ever. All it needs to do is rain and not even hard and you got to worry about your internet going out for half a day. I’m waiting for the day that Telecom goes out of business.

BEWARE! The internet is absolutely horrible! Working from home is impossible without any interruption or having to restart the modem. This 2023 get it together! The equipment is faulty and cheap compared to the other internet providers. The customer service and technical services is okay at best. Just a horrible provider overall! I have noticed from the comments that if you late on your bill then they cut off your service quickly, but when it’s a Telcom problem they give you more excuses but no solution!

Like everyone else, i was forced to use their service as it is the only internet service provided wt my apartment complex. Like everyone else, it is horrible. Outages weekly, no updates, you dont receive the promised speed of internet you pay for, customer service is horrible. Everything about it is bad and I can not wait to leave this apartment complex off this ISP alone. If your complex uses this service do not move there.

I just moved to an apartment complex 2 days ago, and unfortunately this is the only vendor that the complex offers. It's day 2 and we're experiencing an internet outtage for 12 hours now. and still no estimated time of restoration. I work from home and rely on my internet to make a living, this is actually ridiculous. I had my concerns moving here because of this shaky ISP. my gut was 100% right, avoid telcom ISP like the plague. I just moved here and I'm about to break my lease because I refuse to go 12 months dealing with this.
