Best dealership experience. The agent Tom Brady (it's the real name ;)) is super awesome. I was an out of state buyer and he made the experience as smooth as possible and as fast as possible. Nothing could've been better than this.

In 2020 I placed a claim with state farm auto insurance because I hit a curb in my driveway during a severe storm causing the motor to be damaged beyond repair, the vehicle was eventually towed to the Volvo dealership in Va Beach, they kept the vehicle for 5 months they initially removed and replaced the motor with a used engine with a blown head gasket. So another motor had to be located, one was found at a warehouse in Kentucky for 2600$. I got the car back in December 2020 with 70,000 miles on it. The motor stopped working in December of 2022. They offered to replace the gasket for 9000$ at this time. I was no longer with State Farm but instead with Allstate who denied the claim for normal wear and tear. At this time the dealership started taking tearing the motor down. When the claim was denied they advised me that I owed 2700$ for diagnosis. When I tried to have the vehicle towed to my home, since I could not pay the 2700$ the held the vehicle and I lost it since they told me the engine only had a 30-day warranty from the work kin 2020. For 10,000 that state farm paid in 2020. So I think the dealership is taking advantage of me, because I am 71 years old and they think I can afford to let them rip me off again for their so called rendered services.

You let me down Volvo. I have bragged good things about this dealership. I waited nearly 2 hours for an inspection with an appointment. Turned out I was waiting for them to wash my vehicle. I request each visit never to wash. Didn’t think I needed to ask for an inspection. Now I have to spend my afternoon polishing out water spots on the vehicle in a addition to the scratches from the car wash itself along with a newly repainted bumper. The emblem on the trunk is ruined, not easily replaceable. This is the reason I never have dealerships wash my vehicles.

After having taken our high mileage (320,000kms) 2011 Volvo XC70 to Virginia Beach all the way from Ontario, we heard a strange noise coming from the front of our vehicle, so we went right to Volvo of Virginia Beach so they could take a look. I felt comfortable leaving the car in their hands as it is a Volvo dealership. They took us in and had us on our way very quickly, they inspected the car and said nothing is wrong and that the noise is normal, they didn’t even charge us anything! So the least I could do is leave a positive review. Thank you Volvo Virginia Beach for looking over our old girl and making sure she was good to go for the 12 hour trip back home:)

Bought a S60 in December from this dealership. Roy Brunner was fantastic to work with and the finance department (Shawn Porter) was excellent. (Very comfortable and minimal stress for such a large purchase). Highly recommend this dealer and Roy if you’re in the market for a new or used Volvo.

At times the repair depsrtmrnt tskes advantage of there only being one Volvo dealership on the south side of Hampton Roads. Servuve righter tried to make it right. I was just unhappy with the situation. Would look for an alternative the next time my Volvo needs service. Quality of Volvo, the automobile, excellent.
