I was very sick and the clinic called a prescription into this Walgreens store. I got a text that my prescription was ready for pick up, and I immediately drove to the store. When I got there, the pharmacy was boarded up with a transparent partition. Behind the partition were 3 employees who pretended not to see me. I then went to the front of the store, waited in line, and told the cashier that I just got a text to pick up my prescription, but the pharmacy appears to be closed. She said that they close at 1:30 every day for lunch. I told her I felt very sick, I was by myself, and I didn’t want to go back home and have to drive back again, and could she please ask one of them to give me my prescription. The cashier said NO. Why tell me to come in when they are going to be closed? Why couldn’t they stagger their lunches so someone is covering? I was so annoyed. I will not have any prescriptions sent to Walgreens ever again. I called the clinic and asked them to send the prescription to the Harris Teeter pharmacy instead. Apparently, Walgreens doesn’t care about people who are sick, or they don’t feel they need the business.

I firmly believe that anyone working in the service industry, particularly in a leadership role, should possess strong customer service skills. Unfortunately, I recently had an unpleasant encounter with a shift leader who showed a complete disregard for a situation that was their responsibility but impacted me significantly. This lack of professionalism was truly disappointing. I miss the days when Rite Aid was an option. It’s essential that staff are trained to be courteous and attentive.

Every single time we use this pharmacy it takes HOURS...All day and asking them to get RX ready. Excuse is always that they are short staffed or someone didn't come in that day but I've counted at least 4-5 staff in the pharmacy. All I needed today was a z pack. First time I stopped by to check on it, pharmacy said they received it at 12:30 and wouldn't have it until 3. My husband went at 4 to pick it up and they told him another hour and half. I went to doctor and got this RX at 11am. I am giving up and sending all my prescriptions to Kroger now. They told me they could fill it in 30 mins.

This review is for the pharmacy only. After yesterday I've finally decided to jump ship and switch my prescriptions somewhere else. Every month there is always a problem when I try to pick up, it shouldn't be this complicated. I could deal with it every once in a while if I wasn't met with a pharmacy staff that has the customer service skills of prison guards. Not only does there customer service skills suck but there are always at minimum 5 people behind the counter and they manage to move at the speed of molasses. I leave every time frustrated thinking "this can't be real". Done!

The cashier though we at 1st we're not on the same page with my return...she was helpful and I didn't mind repeating myself because of her willingness to help me with my return...Kudos to her!!Just a little something for those impatient people who have no regard for anyone trying to hold on to their own & work!We all just a moment away from losing any 1 thing, that changes our lives, for better or much more worse ?

I have narcolepsy and ran thru the pharmacy drive thru on my way to work. I didn’t realize until I got down the road they had filled an old antibiotic THAT HAD 0 REFILLS instead of the narco meds. I made a mistake of waiting until after work to go back. I didn’t realize until I went back the paper said it was the narco meds even though it was an antibiotic. They took the antibiotic back wouldn’t give me my money back and said I can’t have my narco meds because its a controlled substance. Yep that they have messed up and how do you refill something with 0 refills. I called back this morning they said the cameras show the right medication was filled and thats that. Shouldn’t the camera show them putting in the antibiotic? Thanks to walgreens I have lost an entire month of narcolepsy medication that is critical to my well being.

I just moved so this is going to be my new primary Walgreens. For better or worse. Off Laskin aka "horrible traffic and construction since the mid-2005s road". Since I'm in transition my doctor sent my scripts to the wrong pharmacy first - then changed it - but not before one was already filled at the old spot and waiting for me. So cue insurance issue when this one tried to fill it. I called the next day and explained to the pharmacist who promptly pulled it from the other one - cancelled it - and filled it so I could get both at one spot and not drive all over. She had it ready quickly and was super nice about it. I stopped in that evening after work and, while traffic and construction was bad, once that was all navigated and I got to the drive through, it moved super quickly and the agent at the window was friendly and efficient. He updated my new address for me bc, even though I did it online, the script was wrong. Great first impression. I haven't been inside and I know pharmacies aren't perfect. But I'm usually fairly impressed with Walgreens over their competitors.

Horrible horrible service. Store is almost empty of customers and there are three people at least working in pharmacy. I’ve been waiting 20 minutes for an emergency prescription called in an hour ago. They have screwed up every part of this transaction. Said they had a generic they didn’t, then said they didn’t. What is wrong with this place?!

Summer gives by far and away the BEST customer service I've ever had!!! Genuinely kind and wonderful lady who really lifted my spirits and made sure I was taken care of.

I'm from out of state and Walgreens took care of me as my if it was my home pharmacy.
