It’s unfortunate when people lose sight of people, especially in the healthcare field. I’ve had too many negative experiences and will be moving meds elsewhere. Needs an overhaul of staff. Do not recommend.

Been waiting for my prescription since 8am this morning for antibiotics. It is past 2pm. There needs to be new management or hire more pharmacists , it shouldn't take this long. I will be switching pharmacies. If you're reading this, you should too.

I am a Walgreens pharmacy technician at another location and I would never go here again. I was visiting my sister and had to get a prescription filled and they tried telling me they could not pull it from their central location and I had to wait until the next day. Told them that was not true and suddenly my script was ready same day. Then I have to help my sister twice because they were billing a discount card for her when she had insurance and the tech didn’t even bother to look that it wasn’t ran on insurance and told her to call insurance, tell me how that makes sense. Then yesterday she was trying to get scripts filled for her dog and was told she had to come back the next day and she couldn’t provide the discount cards ahead of time to even see the price and if she could afford them, which is a complete lie, I do it all the time. It’s sad when another Walgreens worker is calling another store bad.

It is a complete shame how I have called this Pharmacy Four times today in attempt to speak with Pharmacy staff about a voicemail message I received from the Pharmacy. Each time, I remain on hold for a long time, the automated system says there is one caller ahead of me, when the phone is finally answered, it is immediately put back on hold status, I hold, it's picked up without a voice on the other end and immediately put in hold status without saying a word. Each time I called back, there was always one caller ahead of me. I guess so, if this is the way they operate, continuously placing Pharmacy callers on hold.This is unacceptable that customers can't follow up on an email via phone. This is not the first time this has happened, but I felt compelled today to leave a review. This is a horrible method of operation this Pharmacy staff is being allowed to continue. Do Better

Received a call from this branch a couple of days ago and the person asked if I still needed a medication ordered. What he failed to say is that the order was ready for pickup. If you're going to talk to customers, effective communication is important.
Other than receiving a completely confusing phone call, I have no other issues with them in the past several years going there.

Pharmacy workers are terrible. EVERY SINGLE OF THEM. Like no one forced you to work there. Every time I call them to ask for my prescription refill, they either coming back to you with attitude or makes you feel like no one gon’ stay ten toes behind them. Everytime i visit to pick up something every single of them makes you feel so uncomfortable, can’t even ask a single question peacefully. I just did switch my pharmacy just because of their constant attitude. DO YOUR JOB AND BE NICE TO PEOPLE.

LITERALLY THE WORST DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!!!! Trying to get my husband prescription refilled and this is how long I’ve been constantly put on hold!!! I’ve never enjoyed being with this pharmacy and I’m not with them by choice. Unfortunately Rite Aid which I loved shut down and sent us all here. Worst service at this place I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE choosing to send stuff here!!!

At the pharmacy a girl treated me very badly 3 times with an attitude because she didn't know English well, she covered her name so as not to make a complaint

Pharmacy is terrible. Corporate should take action. They don't answer phone; it's impossible to do business with them through their app - they say it doesn't work to transfer RX (when it does work at other Walgreens stores, so you have to talk to them.) I've even had them try to give me the wrong drug! Today they're saying it's too soon to refill a drug I have never had, but after 12 minutes of holding, them picking up and putting me back on hold, they just cut me off.

This Walgreens is ok. It used to be my primary when I lived on this side of town 15+ years ago.... Wayyyy before I yelped. It's large and has a bunch of items to choose from inside. All the essentials as well as some holiday goods. But it's not my fav in town (that's Red Mill). No one is happy to be at a pharmacy usually so reviews are dismal but I've never had an issue with picking up a prescription and they tend to have items my husband needs no one else does either so that's a win. All in all. Solid enough.

Worst customer service EVER. Tried to call in refill. 1st call kept getting put on hold. Finally after 28 minutes I hung up. Waited 3 hours and tried again. After 23 minutes I hung up. From now on will take my prescriptions elsewhere. WORST PHARMACY IN VIRGINIA BEACH!!!!
