This pharmacy has a TON of problems. Every single time I need a refill called in, the doctor calls it in but this pharmacy denies having heard back. I have actually heard the doctor call it in while I am on the phone. They literally leave a voicemail while I am on the line. And the staff denies ever getting it in order to buy more time to deal with the backlogged work they have. This happens every single time I need something. And it is exactly because they are understaffed, undertrained and overworked.
Now, I worked for Walgreens for fifteen years as a senior pharmacy tech at 7 different locations and I can tell you this with authority: The problems at this pharmacy are not the staffs fault. This is an issue at the managerial and corporate level. Walgreens has maintained a policy of understaffing as a cost managemnet practice for decades.
They provide massive bonuses for their store managers if they keep staff hours well below efficacy and they are intent on burning out employees before they are with the company long enough to earn decent pay through cost of living and performance bonuses. This is an unspoken policy with this company.
It's corporate level evil that creates overworked and stressed out employees and it endangers people lives through bad medical practice. I want you, the client, to know that you have legal recourse to this.
Dont complain to Walgreens corporate, youll just be ignored and mocked the second you're off the phone with anyone you might get a hold of. Instead, call the BBB and file an official complaint against Walgreens. When enough of those pile up, Walgreens cant ignore it and is forced to make changes that are in your favor.
You dont have to tolerate bad service that can endanger your health in the name of corporate greed.

The people here are always happy to help. They greet you at the door everytime someone comes in. Very helpful.

Love the customer service at the pharmacy. They are swamped so be mindful before pulling up.

I especially appreciate the pharmacy at Walgreens. The service is excellent, the staff members are pleasant and accommodating, and the store is always clean inside.

Use the pharmacy for years and now they’ve changed things where you have to wait for some of your prescriptions up to 24 hours And they only have half of them ready on time due to using some sort of outside vendor who brings in your medications the next day. What a joke. And on my last visit, I was given the wrong prescription, Which was labeled correctly, but had the wrong bottle of medicine inside. Then was told my prescription was not there just to go inside and find out it was there the whole time. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone

I would give no stars if I could. Prescriptions take 3-4 days to be filled. Unacceptable! Get them some help if that’s the problem!

My experience in the store was good, but my experience at the pharmacy wasn't so great. I was supposed to get a prescription prescribed by my doctor. I told them I had medicaid and told them my ID number. I also showed them my co-pay card for my medication and they still would not give me my medication. I was going back to Walgreens for a week to sort this out, but nothing is being done. Idk if it's the system at Walgreens Pharmacy, but something is just not right. I don't recommend personally.

On May 18, 2024 around 2:20PM, I went to purchase 2 gift cards, one went through at check out, I got charged for this and the other one didn’t went through. The one that did not went through was their Walgreens Scarlet Card. The cashier needed some help and called over her manager, the manager stepped up and said the Scarlet Card is not letting me load in the money so he said he will clear the Scarlet Card out and walked away without clearing anything to me. I misunderstood everything right there. While I was grabbing another working gift card, I asked for the voided receipt, everywhere give you one when you voided any transaction. So I asked for one in case if I need to talk to the bank if it hasn’t cleared up, because as I standing and asking for a voided receipt, I was looking at my bank statement showing I got charged for the first one. I just want to have something so I can talk to the bank as needed. But the cashier pointed at her manager and tell me to go talk to him, as if he was gonna help, he didn’t help much at first. :)

Lol the pharmacy staff wouldn't take my script because they claimed they couldn't read it and wanted me to ask my doctor to re-write even tho my Doctor's office just closed, which would have screwed me from getting my medication as I would have had to find a new doctor and go through that whole ordeal. Like I'm sorry it's so busy there and you hate your job but no need to be so petty just so you have less work to do. I just went down the street to Harris Teeter and they had no line at all and filled it with a smile. Felt bad for the Muslim girl because she seemed like she was actually sorry and at the mercy of the other employee/mgr calling the shots. This used to be my go-to pharmacy I've gone to for years, gj losing a long time customer over being petty.
The old Asian lady that works at the cashier stand tho is a sweetheart and the only reason this place gets a star lol

Tired of dealing with them. Confirmation text will say ready by 5pm, then online prescription services will literally say ready for pickup, then you to get it and guess what....either its not ready (come back later) or sorry we're out of stock, it'll be a couple days. I mean what's going on here??? Not cool. Save yourself the time and hassle and pick another place to get a prescription filled. You'd be better off. This is a repetitive occurrence....
