I'm going to have to downgrade my previous review strictly based on my delivery experiences, which have not been good. I really wish I could give them a 2.5. But the store itself is cleaner & modern. So I kept it at 3, rather than 2. Delivery has been my only grocery shopping choice since the beginning of Covid because of my medical conditions. I found WalMart+ to be the best option for the many gallons of distilled water I require for my medical devices. I've also found some better prices on some of the same brands I usually order from other grocery stores. Gallons of distilled water is a no brainer WalMart+ choice. Other stores add a weight surcharge. WalMart+ provides the option of having the delivery handled by a store employee in a company van with no tip because the employee is being paid by the store to deliver. So there should never be complaints from a store employee to the customer. I've had the delivery person from this store actually complain about bringing the water in, even though she put it on a cart to bring to the door. The next time I ordered from the Military Highway store. The delivery employee was shocked at the comments saying "It's her job." For some reason the App has reverted to the Virginia Beach Boulevard location many times even though I had switched my store to Military Highway. So I've accidentally placed orders without checking to see if my store had been changed. There have almost always been problems: missing items, late arrivals, etc. But there has never been a problem as bad as Sunday. When I placed the order I checked to see if my store was set correctly. But to my dismay the App changed the store to the Virginia Beach Boulevard store after the order. This was the worst experience yet. The App provides a map to track the delivery. My order was a 2-6pm delivery. Things seemed to be going well even though I was obviously scheduled as the last delivery on the route. At one stop before me the van on the tracking App stopped moving. The delivery time kept being delayed further & further beyond the 6pm window ending time. I checked over & over with no movement. The time kept getting later & later with no movement. Then.....the App started giving me a blank screen & indicating the order couldn't be tracked. That's when I decided to call WalMart customer service, who couldn't have been nicer. I asked him if my delivery was actually going to come. After being on hold for a long time he finally told me that neither the driver nor his store contact answered their phone. He had left a message for me to be called. I told him I just wanted to cancel the order & place it at the Military Highway Store. I also told him about the App having switched my order from that store. He offered to place the order for me, double check to make sure it came from my preferred store and give me a $15 credit on the order. I asked if he would also put in a complaint regarding this store & driver's deliveries. Hours later the driver called & told me they had a problem with their van and wanted to bring my order the next morning. Can you imagine? All my perishable food sitting in the van so many hours & then being brought the next morning. My response was that my order had been cancelled & would be placed at the other store. She never gave me any reason she didn't call hours earlier. I didn't ask because I was just "over it" after spending hours checking the phone & restricting my dogs from the delivery area. The order from Military Highway came today. It was a perfect delivery, hours before the end of the delivery window. All my perishable food was fresh. No more deliveries for me from the Virginia Beach Boulevard store.

I went to buy a USB cable yesterday for my printer and some ink. This Walmart was fully stocked with everything I needed, and I had asked a staff member to open the printer ink case. The entire time with him was very awkward. I could tell that he didn't want to be there. I understand retail can work with some rude customers, but keeping that energy throughout the day isn't healthy. I've never been to Norfolk, and this Walmart made me assume that people from VA are rude. It didn't help that the Hooters next to it also had rude customer service.

I haven't been to this location in a while and usually go to the WM in Chesapeake Edinburgh. I don't know what happened, but this location is much more clean and non-chaotic than I remember from its opening a little ways back! Clean restrooms (in the back of the store only).

The pharmacy pickup is all I do now at Walmart. Why shop there anymore? Self-check- out is way too slow. Why wait when I can go somewhere closer to home and they'll ring up my whole cart for me

It's always a cesspool in here. The vegetable section is mostly a miss. Everything is either out of stock or rotted out. Walmart is starting to become a loser in almost every aspect. I'll take my business back to Kroger.
