Customer reps and tellers of wells Fargo bank have no kindergarten manners. It takes strength to put up with the unprofessional attitudes of employees, customers deserve better. The only reason why I Bank there is because they have safety deposit boxes that they don't have at my other bank.

I constantly assist our foreign employees in opening their bank accounts, so I know exactly what documentation I need to provide each time. This is the first branch that asked us for proof of residency with leases and utility bills. What do you do with foreign clients that are here for business? How can they possibly provide that? I'm not sure if they don't want to work or what, but AVOID this branch if you need to get things done. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely the worst Customer Service ever! Charlene and Jose has No manners. Jose blatantly skipped over people in line to help those that he knew. Charlene is loud and obnoxious for no reason. The Manger Kathy was then requested and she faked being busy so that she didn’t have to address how Rude her employees were being to all customers. She was literally standing in the corner watching everything but got busy when she was needed.

I deposited a check and was told the bank had to put a hold on it because I didn't sign the back of it. SILLY ME. Then I looked through my account and noticed I hadn't signed most of my checks and they deposited just the same. Maybe it was too large of a check for someone like me. Which I can't be surprised by when I stay with a bank that has a LOT of media citing their racist practices. Can't blame anyone but myself.

I'm giving this place a one star, not to reflect it's services. The Branch manager and her team are amazing. But the GM or DM, and or recruiter didn't select me for a job position here and didn't even let me know over a month, not until I called the branch manager. Not because lack of experience, or felonies, or availability. But because during the virtual interview I was asked questions that I answered in my own unique way. They said that I didn't follow the S.T.A.R method.... Something that I was never taught... Basically answering the questions directly. In my virtual interview I expressed how passionate I am about working with people. And as a banker I would expect that's what they would be looking for. But I guess not, I'm just confused on how a place needs workers but won't hire any because of idiotic reasons like this. Didn't even give me a chance to do a face to face interview with a real person to actually determine if I'm a good fit or not. So I came to this conclusion it's not that I wasn't qualified enough. It's that They aren't qualified enough to have someone as dedicated, hard working, empathetic and encouraging as I am. Happy new year and I will never bank with Wells Fargo.

I waited at drive thru station at 8:53, I was the first person that came and wait. Until 9:00, there are more car coming after me, but the employee got to them first before me. All the people came after me get to leave before me because they got asked first. There is a reason for me to come and wait earlier than the opening hour. I’m not happy as I have to be at work early.

The teller was awfully sarcastic. She kept telling me that what Im trying to do requires a banker , not a teller and asked me if I had a problem understanding that.

What has happened to Wells Fargo? Not long ago at one branch I was told I needed to change the name on my account (after four years of having a safety deposit box at that at that branch, ) because the name on my account doesn't match my driver's license. Ummm... is that because I use a first initial? Everything else matches - address, picture, etc. I was told my name was illegal due to the initial. Illegal! Hello! My husband's name - on the same account - doesn't match his driver's license. He uses a middle initial. What is the "name" policy? Deny service to customers because you don't like their name? But wait... today I foolishly used the term "transfer" at a different Wells Fargo. As in the sentence, " I'd like to transfer money into my sister's account." We are both Wells Fargo customers. Sadly, I had cash to deposit so I could transfer that amount to my sister. Instead of making the simple statement, 'Let me take care of that for you ', I was told I couldn't do that. "Transfers" based on cash have apparently been illegal for 3 years - a concept now cemented into my consciousness by the sign that was held up by the teller. Okay. I KNOW I can deposit cash into my account and then transfer it to my sister. That is simple. Here's a new concept in customer service... instead of repeatedly calling the customer "honey", instead of saying, "I thought we already went over that", instead of saying I can't do a 'transfer', how about saying, "Sure, we can handle that. First let's deposit the cash into your account. Then we will write a check to your sister - either you can write a check from you account, or we can give you a free cashier's check - based on the balance in your account. Which would you prefer?" I've tried using the STUPID Zelle app. I used it once in the past with no issue. But - likely due to my VPN - I couldn't get it to work last time. So , Zelle is not a solution - UNLESS Wells Fargo tells customers that it won't work with a VPN - if that is true. (I am just guessing here.) Crappy customer service by untrained (and probably underpaid) employees. Enough, Wells Fargo. I'm done. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Had an appointment at 2pm for business banking. I was unable to apply on line because of a recent divorce and needing to update my name and information in the system. I arrived early and seated myself as there is no sign in area. At 2:10 no one had come out so I went to the teller desk. Angel was in between helping two clients and rushed over to tell me that she had ,” called this morning to let me know my application was pending. “ I still needed the appointment so I could update some information that wasn’t correct at the bank. She told me she was busy and asked someone else to take my information so she could call back later despite me making an appointment for this very reason. I’m not sure why my application pending would be a reason to completely cancel my appointment without my request. She seemed like she was more helpful to the client in front of me that she loudly “wanted to be adopted by.” Definitely not a great first start for a pending business client. I called the main Wells Fargo line to reschedule for a different branch, you should too.

On Jan 27, 2022, I walked into the Independence/Town Center branch at 11:30 am, with no other customers in the bank at all. 3 tellers behind the counter and 1 banker was sitting at her desk. I advised a teller that I was there to receive funds as a beneficiary of my deceased mother’s accounts and my that sister had already received her share of the funds at another branch. I also stated that All necessary documents were already attached to my mother’s accounts. I just needed to show my ID to receive my funds. The teller went and spoke to the banker and the banker walked up to me and stated that I needed to schedule an appointment and that there weren’t any appointments avail until mid week the following week. There was absolutely no other customers in the bank! The banker just looked at me and said she could not help me! I remained in the branch for at least another 15 minutes ( still no other customers in the bank ) while trying to reach the banker at the branch my sister went to. As soon as I connected with the banker at the Greenbrier branch and told her that the Town Center branch wouldn’t help me, she told me to come straight to her and she would take care of me. I left Town Center and arrived at Greenbrier 15 minutes later and was in and out in 10 minutes. It’s not that the banker at Town Center couldn’t help me, she simply didn’t want to help me. Town Center has horrible customer service, especially when dealing with situations like this.
