I went to Great Harvest to get a sandwich for my Mom who is 80 and sometimes not up for heading over herself. I told the staff what I was doing and asked their help in picking out a sandwich, and we decided on the California Cobb (I didn't put the blue chees on it - my mom later told me - I love blue cheese.) I had a great time talking about my mom and the manager told me about her mom and we reminisced about how our mothers had shaped and made us the people we are today. At the end, she gave me a bag of her amazing cookies to give to my mom for free!!!! It was a really pleasant experience for me, and everything that is rewarding about dealing with a small town business. I grew up in Warrenton, and remember as a kid that main street was largely vacant, and not the vibrant place it is now. What a great place! Great Harvest, thank you for making my day.....and my Mom's Day too, she loved her sandwich and bonus cookies.

The breads and sweets are awesome! My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that one day I got a sourdough bread and she didn’t educate me on how to keep/store it. It went stale. So I went again for another loaf and a different staff member taught me how to store it, gave me another bag yo put the loaf in etc. They need to all be on the same page with customer service. The food is great to be sure!!

Great bakery and good people who run it! I get their breads and enjoy their sweets when they visit the farmers markets in the area, such as Haymarket. It's worth mentioning the owner, Pablo, who went out of his way to give us the biggest cinnamon rolls he had left before packing up, will be dearly missed.

I picked up their peach cobbler bread at a farmers market they set up at in Culpepper. I'm not local to that area and didnt know anything about this company but everything looked so delicious I couldn't resist ...and so happy I didn't!! it was fabulous! I thick sliced it and popped in my toaster and was sorry I didn't get 2 loaves and other offerings. i also added some of my homemade peach jam on it...although it didn't need it...and it further enhanced the sweet bread. Next time I get near warrenton im going to detour to the store for more tasty treats.

This place makes amazing baked goods. Their service is amazing the staff is so friendly. I wish the menu of lunch and breakfast was a bit cheaper and more diverse. (Get ketchup). They are dog friendly and always willing to let you sample anything.

We were visiting Warrenton and wanted to grab some baked goods before heading out. The breads looked amazing and we went with the garlic cheddar rolls. The sweets selection had a bunch of "bars" and I saw there was a bread pudding option. I pretty much knew I wanted some, but they gave a sample and I had to get two. They were AMAZING. We also got a brownie and a mocha chocolate scone.I wish I lived closer because I would be here regularly!

Very nice staff. I enjoy the pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. Time have changed. The muffin sees smaller and not as fresh. Out the door total for one muffin $6.00.

Been here multiple times generally decent service. Walked in and sat at register for a couple minutes, multiple employees walked by stocking shelves but no service so we left *shrugs

Irene is a doll, and happens to be a fabulous, eclectic, and very skilled chef. The bread pudding is the best I have ever had, a meal in itself. Get a square and indulge! You will be delighted, pleased, and also satiated-- it's that good.I bought a whole plethora of about 15 of the bread pudding squares and shared them at work. What a nice change and gorgeous "treat-on-the-go", my buddies very, very happy.

Ohhh, yes, yes, yes! They have King Cakes! As displaced southerners (Northern Virginia is not the south..I don't care what anyone says?) from Mississippi and Louisiana, we were BEYOND thrilled to find a place selling King Cakes. And y'all: they're the real deal. You want one. Or two...no judgement. They can technically be breakfast where we're from. ?

The food had good taste, I didn't see anything that would make it a meal. It was constantly busy. The service was slow. One of the employees left with 5 customers waiting to be served. Quantity for the Price was low.

Love this shop and the breads and sandwiches are delicious. Used to be one of my favorite spots but they raised all their prices and we just can’t afford it anymore. $5 plus tax for a single muffin feels a bit ridiculous! The sandwiches are $10 and the loaves are really expensive. We only go to Red truck bakery down the street now because everything’s a bit cheaper but still quality.

Super Friendly staff. Incredible breads made with fresh ground nonGMO pesticide-free flour and local ingredients! Breads, pastries, cookies, mixes, teas, soup mixes, drinks, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. I think you can order 00 flour from here also. The CHALLAH fresh from their oven is the best you’ll ever have!
