“Our Officiant was Dan McLinden. He went above and beyond! Not only was he our officiant but he also provided the music/sound for me to walk down the aisle which saved me a lot of headache over that part which I was very grateful for bc our venue doesn’t provide that. My ceremony was perfect thanks to Dan! His wife Ramona helped me with any questions I had beforehand and responded extremely quickly. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!”

“We were thrilled with our wedding day at Poplar Springs Manor! We had a fantastic experience working with Lindsay in the weeks leading up to our big day and the Gala chef, Chef Aimee, could not have created a more perfect feast. The staff were kind and seamlessly transitioned the spaces as we shifted from ceremony to cocktail hour and then from dinner to dessert and dancing! Some of our family members have limited mobility and having the Inn onsite allowed for a more cohesive and restful experience for them as we navigated the weekend festivities. We are so thankful that we chose Poplar Springs Manor for our wedding weekend! We made memories there that will last a lifetime!”

“The Black Horse Inn is one of the most beautiful B&B's I've visited and it's a gorgeous wedding venue for the bride to be who wants a classic, romantic wedding tucked in the Virginia country. The staff was top notch and everything flowed smoothly on my bride's wedding day. The sunroom is the perfect spot for bridal portraits, sunset light was gorgeous on the rolling hills and the reception space was spacious and gorgeous- the perfect place for any wedding. Definitely one of my favorite wedding venues I've visited as a Virginia wedding photographer! Highly recommend Black Horse Inn for weddings and just to stay :)”
