The Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility is a beautiful and clean indoor facility, considered the best indoor swim option in the area and a great bargain. It features a large Olympic competition pool for laps with a section for non-lap purposes, a children's pool area, and a small indoor water park with a large waterslide and a lazy river. The gym equipment and workout rooms are well maintained and clean. Staff are generally very kind and helpful, greeting visitors upon entry. The pools are clean and well maintained with lifeguards on duty. Some constructive criticism is noted regarding event coordination and communication. For birthday parties, there can be timing issues with party room transitions, and communication about wrist band significance—where red requires a child to be within arm's reach of an adult—can be unclear. The waterslide is only open on weekends, which can disappoint visitors unaware of the schedule. While the facility employs many teenagers, some feedback suggests a desire for consistent adult management presence on the floor during all shifts. Despite these points, the facility is a popular destination where children have a blast, and many visitors plan to return.
Always an enjoyable time. From the lazy river to the competition pool there are numerous activities for all. Reasonable fees to utilize the facility and a kids playground outside makes this a location for a quick stop or a whole family day.
