The room was clean. Temperature in shower could’ve been hotter for my liking. We stayed two nights first morning breakfast was great. We had eggs and tons of bacon. This morning we go to breakfast to be met by a sign saying neither breakfast attendant could make it so no eggs , bacon, sausage etc. to me that’s ridiculous and unacceptable. My husband and I come here all the time and usually stay at Comfort Inn decided to try something different . I think next trip we’ll go back to Comfort Inn.

Customer service is wonderful but the hotel needs some repairs or better yet remodeled. Cracks on the ceiling, mold growing on top of the shower, wallpaper peiling in the bathroom because there is no working ventilation fan. Bathroom is kinda small and cheap, and if you lift the front cover off the heating/AC unit it is absolutely disgusting, dusty and moldy..Nearby activities: The fishin pig has some really good food and there are plenty of places to eat

Our room was dirty, the "free breakfast" left alot to be desired. When we checked in there had been a flood in one of the rooms affecting the lobby area and at 8am the fire alarm was going off due to the workers being there to work on the area that had flooded. Someone had attempted to break into our vehicle tripping our alarm..it was just a bad experience of unfortunate events.

The hotel's fire alarm went off at 10:30 p.m. and all hotel guests had to vacate the property and stand outside, many in their pajamas, in sub freezing temperatures and high winds.After approximately 15-20 minutes guests realized there was no fire so they re-entered the hotel via the lobby. The alarm was still ringing. Guests were not allowed back in their rooms, so they had to either remain in the lobby while the alarm blared or stand outside in freezing temps.There was a family in the lobby soaking wet, including two small children who were shivering and covered by towels. The cause for the fire alarm was a sprinkler that went off in a 2nd floor room. The hotel was unable to turn off the sprinkler or the alarm. By 11:00 p.m. water was flowing out of the ceiling of the first floor hallway.There was never any announcement made by the hotel, but by 11:30 p.m. residents decided on their own to return to their rooms. To get to the staircase guests had to walk under the waterfall that was flowing from the 1st floor ceiling. I got soaked, as did other guests. My clothes were so wet that I could not put them in my suitcase.By 11:35 p.m. I was back in my room. I had fallen asleep when at midnight my hotel room phone rang. A hotel worker said there was a noise complaint against my room. I said I was in the room alone and was sleeping, making zero noise, and he replied that he had made a mistake and had called the wrong room. He then hung up on me before I could reply.The entire experience was a disaster, from getting soaked, to being woken up at midnight by a hotel worker who called the wrong room.Stephenroom #301 on 1/13/2024.

DON'T STAY AT THIS BRAND!!! I payed for room and then two days prior to arriving, we had to cancel due to extreme personal issue that arose only to be told sorry for your luck!!!! They will rob you blind just to make a buck, do yourself a favor and find a Marriott brand hotel that has better cleaner rooms as well as real customer service.Ps, this hotel should have negative stars but one it is I guess. Also to their response to this review... We had a death in the family, which led to the cancelation of this reservation! STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! I understand non-refundable, but also understand exigent circumstance very well, and this was one of them. We requested a voucher for a later date stay and was denied by the useless workers that work this hotel and the manager that never seems to be at work! Again, stay at a Holiday Inn Express, you will be better served and the management will understand personal issues.

I have stayed at Best Westerns before and it's been a good experience! But this one is AWFUL! Smells bad and everything is stained and dirty. We asked to cancel our second stay but the manager wouldn't work with us at all!

The WORST hotel room i've ever been in. Upon getting into the room, it smelled musty and uncleaned. A thick layer of dust was on everything and an old sock was covering the thermal gauge above the bed.After complaining, I was moved to another room. This room smelled better but also had a layer of dust on everything. It generally seemed not well kept. After using the soap dispenser once, it fell off the wall and looked as though it was barely hanging there to begin with.After informing the front counter staff about the dust and soap dispenser, I came back to my room to find that only SOME of the dust had been cleaned. The headboard looked as though somebody cleaned only the dust that was in arms reach.I used a third party to book the room so I was unable to get any refund at all or esle I would of gone elsewhere.The cleaning staff doesn't do a thorough job at cleaning.My allergies were constantly annoyed at the uncleanliness of the room I slept in.BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR STAY.Rooms: Disgusting. Uncleaned. Clean staff doesn't know how to clean the room.

The staff tries hard, it seems like their hands are tied from doing a better job. Trash cans in the banquet halls were often filled and not cleaned. The trash cans in the break rooms were not cleaned. Trash was always piled up.It seemed like they had 2 guys trying to serve the whole front of the house and banquet area. They also cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed the hallways and blew leaves around the property.Ice water was provided with cups and never refilled. The meals were catered by a vendor who really wanted to be somewhere else.The lunch was drowned in water that they were trying to pass off as……gravy.The green beans were flooded in a butter like soup. The caterers lack of care or pride in work surely didn’t help the presentation.After snacks and lunch the banquet table running the length of the room was never changed. It sat there in the glory of every dollop of bbq sauce and smear of mustard.Each day getting worse.The temperature in the area was hot or cold.The bathrooms were clean. Free parking around the property.

The room was booked in October for an event at the hotel, the reservation was lost and now we are paying double and the room was smaller than we asked for. We get there Thursday night, right off the bat there is attitude from the front desk they ask my the plate number so the lady I’m with calls me, I’m in the car with two children, and with a tone in the this women’s voice she yells I don’t need it. No paper work was signed, no IDs were asked for. Friday morning comes and everything is fine, I get a call from the front desk to bring down a card because the person that made the reservation wasn’t coming until later Friday. Now there are multiple things being said to me at this point so I go down and then I am told never mind it’s all fine. Go back to the event and later get told to come down now at this point I bring one child down with me and leave my five year old in the room with the other adult. A man that does not work there and the GM Misty go knock on the door and try to pull them out of the room while I’m at the desk trying to figure out what is going on. The lady at the front desk has hung up on the person that booked the room in front of me then started talking about her to other guest in line, she has told me yet again everything was fine. Mean while the GM Misty is calling saying she’s calling the cops on me and pulling minors out of the room because I’m leaving them alone, there was a adult always in that room she didn’t realize one adult was a adult she that she was a child. Now I give her my card now this room has been paid for twice, $1400. She tried to tell me I was refusing to pay when I came down multiple times to try to fix the problem. Now mind you no paperwork was ever signed I was never in the system but they took money from me. The whole situation was blown out of proportion by misty and her front desk worker who couldn’t seem to tell the truth on anything and telling me stuff that wasn’t right, while I remained calm but I had money stolen from me by these people and they want to call the cops on a paying customer when the room was paid for already. No one wants to call back and work out this issue but apparently it’s ok to pull people off the street to touch guest and minor children.

when arriving at the hotel, it seems nice enough. many construction workers out front smoking & complaining about the hotel. when i checked into my room, it smelled like wet dog. i opened the window and went to eat. came back, and it was worse. and the bed looked as if someone had slept in it. i packed up and left.in the morning, i called the hotel and asked the desk person to speak to the manager, and he said a customer wants to speak to you and he doesn't sound happy. a female voice said, "Send him to voicemail."the general manager and head of housekeeping both need to be fired.

Not recommended. Rooms emitted a musty odor, rugs were not properly cleaned. I checked out 4 different rooms, they all had the same unclean smell. We decided to put up with it, but after discovering dirty underwear and shorts in a drawer that's when we checked out to move to another hotel. The uncleanliness at this point was pervasive. Upon checkout, without me even asking for a refund, the desk mgr immediately responded with "well you can't get your money back." I guess he's been through this before. I called today for the GM, went to voicemail; she did not return my call. Best Westerns are usually good, but not this location.

the room is crawling with bugs, the sheets are wrinkled like they weren’t changed. the wallpaper is deteriorating. but the lobby smells like apples so that is a plus maybe thats where the name came from. “best western plus” the only plus is the lobby smell, pathetic.
